Menu was more limited than I expected. Lights should be dimmed a little to create more ambiance.
We had an excellent waitress Dierdre! The food choices were excellent, enough choices for everyone. Our food was mouth watering. Serving sizes were appropriate - just so delicious we wanted more!!! Will surely return again.
Our waitress made this a fantastic experience. It was like talking to a friend about the menu. She gave great suggestions and never let us run out of anything.
The food was great and parking was easy. Overall, I would recommend.
My wife and I went for our Anniversary. The food was excellent. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and how we can expect the food to taste like. A very enjoyable experience overall.
Ordered the European sea bass. When i asked for regular tartar sauce I was told they don’t carry it. I cant believe a place sells fish but doesnt have tarter sauce.
Understand you close at 10. However, pulling my food from me at each course was obnoxious. Stopping and cleaning the rubber placemats while my date and I are having a private conversation was rude. It really could have waited til we left. We got the hint that all 4 tables in there had to get going so we ordered dessert to go. In case we didn't get the hint, at exactly 10 pm the lights went bright.
As I look at the reviews, it's a consistent theme - being rushed. If it's like everything else at Horseshoe, it's the invisible 'management' who are calling the shots here. They fail to understand gambling revenues are down here because of how they treat their best customers on the casino floor and in the restaurants.
What was to be a nice date, turned into a flurry of food and staff buzzing around us.
As for the food:
burrata with tomatoes - no bread to enjoy the cheese. Do you really expect us to just eat it with a spoon? the server brought ut toast and said she didnt know why they didn't make it part of the plate.
Minestrone soup was good, had i been able to finish it after i fended off the first 2 attempts to take it. I finally relented.
chicken parm was fine- but for $28 for a small breast and small ball of pasta, would it be too much to have someone shave some parmesan cheese on top?
tiramisu was in to go containters - no spoons - that'd be too thoughtful
$100 for 2 people, no alcohol - i've had better service and better food at Macaroni Grill and Olive Garden.
Gia - come back and have a meal sometime- it's you name, your brand.
We used this restaurant as a meet and greet for our online game community. This was the first time many of us had meet. I felt rushed to order and leave . Most of the tables were empty so I didn't feel we were preventing the restaurant for seating more guests. Our bill came to around $400 + tips. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone .
Shockingly disappointed in the food.
The food was great. The prices were reasonable. The staff was awesome.
Amazing food, service , and experience. Would highly recommend this to anyone the the Baltimore area.
Valentine's Day
It was a great Valentine’s Day dinner. The service was great. The food was perfect. I have no complaints.
Birthday celebration was laid back and the food was yummy. I had the salmon and Italian succotash which was delicious. I loved the smashed potatoes too.
Everything was... fair. Certainly did not live up to our expectations of a Giada restaurant. Service was okay. Food was also okay. Disappointing...
Enjoyed our Valentine’s Day dinner at GDL Giada, the overall experience was good. Arrived slightly early for our reservation, should have been seated right away as the restaurant was clearly not even half full, but hostess made us wait about ten minutes before seating us. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Had the mussels and meatball trio for appetizers, the crispy meatball was outstanding and she actually got us an additional one to replace the orzo one which tasted like “mango chutney and burnt hair; I couldn’t get the taste out of my mouth!” The entrees were both very good, my wife had a pasta dish, perfectly cooked and I had the short ribs over polenta. The brownie with ice cream and chocolate sauce was quite good. Would definitely go again, if not for the blip at the beginning, would have rated excellent.
Great food, but not a warm atmosphere.
The dining room was too open with a cafeteria feeling to it.
We had an early dinner on super bowl Sunday. The food was outstanding! The restaurant was beautifully decorated. Our service was excellent. I had the shrimp Campanella, my husband had lasagna and my son in law had pizza, all was outstanding. My daughter had the chicken parm which she said was very good but she thought our meals were better.😉 We will definitely be back!
Shante n Charles did an awesome job! Did have trouble with open table app but everything else was great! Thank you both for giving my wife a great birthday and see you soon!!!!
It was great dining experience. the server was the best!
Unless you're already at the Horseshoe casino, you have to go out of your way to go here. And the food and drinks are not special. Not bad, but certainly doesn't meet the menu price standard or the standard I would expect from Giada.
Starting with the appetizer, the Crab Arancini, you could hardly taste the "jumbo lump crab" at all! Then the Campenell was horrible. The shrimp tasted like they were cooked separately and thrown in at the end. The pasta and sauce seemed thick and all stuck together. It was just inedible! Lastly, the worst of all was the Giada' s Selection choice of 3 sides Wood Grilled Broccoli = burnt up broccoli, Lemon Smashed Potatoes = something like overcooked potato skins, maybe and the Crispy Parmigiano Plenta at best interesting?
Lisa always makes you feel welcome when David Lee he always stops by to make sure everything's okay and how the quality of the food is they always make you feel welcome the waders waitress are real really and fishing about their job
Our waitress seemed rush even though she only had 1 other table. We had a party of 7, including 2 kids, and she took the drink orders of 4 of us and then walked away, when we said excuse me, as a few of us didn’t order yet, she rolled her eyes and laughed like we were bothering her. Food was awesome. Service was lacking for the amount of money we were paying. Every other server, runner seemed great though.
Our servers Sharon and Sidney were extremely pleasant friendly, and attentive. They are truly an asset to restaurant
Outstanding service by our waiter Luiz. He was fantastic!!! The food was very very good.
The food was good and just the right size .The service top notch; drinks were filled very fast without asking. My friends and I ordered the meat ball trio and three dishes and three desserts. The food was top notch.
Got there for a 5:30p reservation, no host(ess) at the stand but plenty of staff in small huddles talking and even one playing paddy cake. It was resturant week, but you wouldn't have know, apparently you had to ask for that menu. Ordered 2 entrees. My chicken parm was a hand size piece of chicken and 3 bites of noodles (being generous). The 3 golf size meatballs came with 5 oz of spaghetti, when speaking with the manager. There was more waitstaff than you could keep count of but they were attentive. As soon as we finished eating they swooped in for clean up. Still hungry after not ordering an appetizer, we ordered a pizza. It came out and we had two side dishes, but no utensils. Had to wait and got a weird look for having asked. Meal ended with one bowl of lemon sorbet that was very tart. I left feeling unsatisfied for eating at an Italian restaurant.
Went for date night and we both had a BLAST! The food and service team were amazing! Will definitely go back.
One of our top favorite places to dine. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and fantastic staff and manager. Highly recommend.
Food was lukewarm. The crab Arincini balls were good. We got an order of short ribs which is one piece of very dried up rib with no sauce on it. Got the linguine with lemon and pea Alfredo, it was one spoonful of linguine with some cream and some peas there was no flavor to it whatsoever especially for $23. We are foodies and we go to many many fine dining establishments and many regular dining establishments . I would not recommend this to anyone. a whole bunch of hype over nothing.
The service was excellent. Food was very tasty and presentation was beautiful.
We went for an early dinner. Only menus advertised in casino or on web were for either bar or dinner. We saw that on Wednesday and Thursday they opened early and were excited. When we got there for 3:00 reservation, we were seated and handed an abbreviated “lunch” menu. We asked for dinner and they said they couldn’t do it even though that is all that is advertised. We were the only customers! We left. I have never been to a restaurant that refused dinner menu once they were open. They may as well stay closed until dinner.
The restaurant was great place. My family and I truly enjoyed our food while dining. The only issue that we had was that it took my family and I 45 minutes to have the waitress come to our table to get our food order. Our reservations were at 6PM. The hostess had us at our table at 5:45pm. Cindy/Sydney (young lady in the gray shirt) came to our table shortly after we were seated and asked us for our drink requests and provided us with delicious bread and butter. After we received our drinks and bread the waitress never came to our table until 6:45PM. The only reason why the waitress came to our table is that I had to ask Cindy/Sydney where the waitress was and Cindy/Sydney told us that our waitress was Chantel/Chante. Upon Cindy/Syndey finding this out she told us at 6:30PM that she would let Chantel/Chante know that we were waiting for her to take our food requests. Chantel/Chante did not arrive to the table until 6:45PM after having to ask Cindy/Syndey twice were the waitress was. Upon Chantel/Chante finally arriving to our table she was not friendly and appeared as we keeping her from something else. No one was very happy about her service but because we were celebrating a birthday, we did not want to ruin the night. I would like to say I am not sure why it took so long for us to be served because there was only three other parties present when my family and I were there. I want to provide excellent compliments to Cindy/Syndey in regards to professionalism and how she ensured that we had an excellent evening. She was a great assistance and she deserves much kudos for make our time at the restaurant excellent despite the actions and attitude of Chantel/Chante.
This wasn’t our first time here. The menu has shrunk since we last visited. Limited selection rooms. Portions are decent. Food is good. Service is slow.
Ambiance was surprisingly pleasant, food was good and well worth the trip. best part was the hostess, pleasant, concerned and totally intent to make the customer experience awesome.
Food and drinks were excellent. Hostess attentive and bartender friendly with quick service. Table service wasn’t quite as successful. Staff attentive but slow to serve with relatively empty restaurant. Drink orders incorrect—served after they’d sat for a very long time at bar. So long that one of our party went up to the bartender asking to take them to the table. Manager said no, server will bring over... which happened another 5-10 mins later. Food was delicious, however we had to ask for bread—twice. At an Italian restaurant?! We will return, but we’ll be sure to sit at the bar to eat.
The food is outstanding, fresh, and authentic. I'll always enjoy dining here. Love Giada!
Grat meal friendly service.
We chose this restaurant because it was in the casino and we had a very good experience at Giada's restaurant in Las Vegas. We had the crab arancini balls as an appetizer and they had very little seasoning. They tasted better with the Old Bay aioli on the plate but there wasn't enough of that. My chicken parm wasn't breaded (it seemed to have some bread crumbs on top) and not nearly worth $28. My husband had a shrimp pasta and said it had good flavor but the pasta itself was gummy. I'm sorry this place wasn't better, honestly. I was looking forward to it.
Overall, my experience was subpar. I have dined at Giada's restaurant in Las Vegas several times and there is no comparison in terms of quality overall quality. They were out of three variety of wines (all Italian ironically). The server was too casual and in my opinion unprofessional given the ambiance of the restaurant. Almost everyone working was in jeans. I felt as if I was dining at Cheesecake factory. When pouring our wine, they dripped some on our table - that should never happen at an establishment like that. Apps were ok - ordered arancini, pizza, and cheese board. Cheese board was a waste of money. Entrees were good though - pastas were good and chicken parm was good, too. Dessert was fine too, the donuts were undercooked. If I were to go back, I would just get pasta only. Definitely dine at Giada's in Las Vegas if you want a true experience!
