The Empanadas are the BEST...we ordered 1 Beef and 1 Spinach & Cheese. Delicious! Pastry so light. Also ordered the Chicken Suprema Napolitana which was prepared to perfection. Their Chimichurri sauce is "to die for"! Highly recommend this Argentinian find!

We liked the food and the service was great. The dessert should have been complementary for my sons bday.

You know what you are getting when you go there. Food is very good and the price is fair. We go there at least once a month and all of us like it very much.

The food and service was okay but there were two tables of guests sitting near us that had screaming kids running around the restaurant and the parents didn't do anything to help the situation! Unfortunately, this affected our enjoyment of the evening.

SALADS ARE GREAT...MY 2 COMMENTS ARE: WE SPLIT THE CHECK AND ONE CREDIT WAS CHARGED CORRECTLY BUT THE OTHER WAS CHARGED THE ENTIRE BILL AND WE HAD TO AHVE THE WAITRESS DO IT OVER. SHE DIDNT APOLOGIZE AND I FELT IT WAS HER "BAD" SINCE SHE SHOULD HAVE REVIEWED IT BEFORE GIVING IT TO US.
ALSO: YOU HAVE THE BEST OIL/GARLIC DIPPING SAUCE WITH THE WORST WHITE BREAD POSSIBLE!!! I HOPE THAT YOU CONSIDER CHANGING YOUR BREAD

What a wonderful meal! Everything was well prepared and all ingredients hot and fresh. The sangria was very lovely, and dessert couldn't have been better! It was my first time for #dineLA and we will be back. The value and quality were well above expectations!

We go to Gaucho Grill on a relatively frequent basis. And Open Table offers a 09:00 pm reservation slot. It is disconcerting that when we arrive punctually for the 09:00 pm, we are put in a place of having to rush our order in . "Get your order In quick because the kitchen closes at 09:15 pm." And the restaurant closes at 10:00 pm. This creates a very rushed and uncomfortable situation. Why would Open Table create a 9:00 pm slot under these circumstances? It is unfair to the customer.

Gaucho Grill was just okay, but not great. The food was pricey for the quality, and they don't offer specialty drinks. Interesting atmosphere, and easy enough to get a table. An overall boring dinner service with plain food.

My friend had a salad overloaded with paprika. I should have stuck with Caesar salad but I added chicken which was too thin and very dry and leathery. The desserts were good, and the staff friendly. So not all bad.

Very good food. Consistency. You know what you will get as to the food and serve. We have been going to this restaurant for a very long time. They used to be at the third street promenade. Neighborhood gem you should try.

The food was excellent, every piece of steak we ordered was juicy and well seasoned. We went in the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday, so it was pretty quiet, waiter did inform us that it gets quite busy as you approach dinner time.

This was my first time at Gaucho Grill. What a pleasant neighborhood experience! It will be my new go-to restaurant. Gaston honored our being there for the first time by bringing us a surprise appetizer of empanadas - delicious (especially the spinach and cheese one). I will definitely go back to Gaucho Grill over and over again.

I had the steak (first one on the menu) and beans and grilled zucchini. Everything was cooked to perfection.

I have been coming here for years for the Skirt Steak, so delicious! The chimichurri that comes with the bread is also divine! My only complaint is that their prices have gone up dramatically! Disappointing but it won't stop me from going again!

A typically great little neighborhood restaurant, our Valentine's dinner was disappointing at best. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated within 5 mins, but then no one checked on our table or brought menus til we had waited at least 10 mins. Service was slow, they were out of the wine I ordered, and the food was lack luster when it finally arrived. As the restaurant was more packed than usual, I think they were just not prepared for the Valentine's dinner crowd. Three stars is generous, but is an average rating for dinners here in the past. This visit was 2 stars at best.

Fairly empty and quiet for a rainy day lunch. Their lunch special menu is very well priced (read that "cheap") but the same food they serve at full price on the menu. I asked for food without salt and (and this is very unusual) it came without salt. Good for them for listening to me. Service very attentive, drinks constantly refilled, and always asking how the meal was (maybe too much, but better than too little). Not fancy, not the best food you will ever eat, but very good for the price.

Been there before with excellent service and food but this time we went for dinela menu and they ran out of one of the appetizers but what was worse was the service from an older lady. We waited for drink order for 20 minutes along with ordering and asked for other items such as bread or chimichri sauce that we never received from her so requested from a bus boy and received. The previous time we had a younger lady server and she was spot on and very prompt. This older lady seemed like she just didn't care to be there or care about service at all.
Overall the food was good but I'd personally stay away from this server, don't recall her name but probably oldest female server there. Saw the service next to our table from older gentleman and he seemed to be very good.

Lovely dinner as part of L.A. Restaurant week and pre-theatre dinner for CAP UCLA performance by David Sedaris. The steak was a bit over-seasoned, but other than that everything was delicious!

My colleagues and I gather here twice a year. The food is always delicious and cooked to each person's taste and liking. The service is usually quiet good. The server was very accommodating to substitutions and gave us various options. Parking is sometimes difficult to find at lunch or dinner tie, but not impossible.

We went with my boyfriends parents and the meal was a disaster. They forgot to bring out our appetizers and our main dishes arrived so they offered to put the plates back and keep them warm and then they could go figure out what happened to our appetizers. We said forget it that we would rather eat the meals while they were warm and then they forgot to put in one entree so one was waiting with no food while the others ate. When the appetizers came out the inside of the meat empanada was cold. The food was just disappointing in general so even without all the mistakes and waiting for food etc we would still not go back. Nothing special and not worth the money.

I sent you Open Table a complaint email--the reservation was confirmed for 6 PM on Saturday. We drove there, parked there, and went to the front door. There was a sign that it was closed for remodeling of some kind. We had not been informed that the restaurant would be closed. The reservation had been accepted with no trouble. Somebody blew it. Open Table, Gaucho Grill, somebody. I made a special trip for nothing. I do not mean to give 1 star as if we ate there, and this review should really not go into the Gaucho Grill "permanent record," but I do want you to know what is happening here.
