We liked our waiter and the salad was good but the pizza was dreadful--tasteless, soggy crust, and uninspired toppings. There is so much good wood-fired pizza in the world and this was disappointing to say the least
Not what you'd expect for a restaurant in a hotel. Stellar Italian food (we had some pizzas) and very kind, helpful servers. Burrata salad was especially delicious. Dessert was the only average part about it. Would definitely recommend this place.
Delicious Neapolitan style pizza, Italian Wines and affordable prices. Great evening!
Terrible service. Overpriced.
Great experience overall, I love the style of the place
I am so glad to see Gattara opening up again! My son and I had an early dinner on a Sunday afternoon. The pizza is elegant and excellent--such a treat. He had the fennel sausage and I had the prosciutto pizza. Paired with the house wine--delicious. There is also a nice selection of beer (and other wine) as well. The desert menu also not to be missed. My mother used to drink Brandy Alexander, which is on the list, and a lovely evening after dinner relaxer. We shared the oatmeal cookie ice cream sandwich--also a wonderful after dinner treat. By the way, the patio was redone just before the virus closed everything--stonework, spaced seating, a nice sound system, open air, and a couch/sitting area if one prefers. It is really nice to sit outside--peaceful, relaxing, a little park area across the street, private, and just chill. Not be forgotten--the staff always are so kind and attentive. Alicia and Brendon are amazing wait staff/bartenders. Thanks for such a lovely, and delicious afternoon.
Lovely space, but server did not know offerings well and dinner took very very long, sometimes 20 minutes to get a drink ordered
Great pizzas, as expected, and somewhat less expected, exceptional salads too! Very accommodating service and all in all, a very nice evening.
Food & Service was great. Sparse menu, but understandable with the state of where F&B is to date.
Great overall space connect to the Warwick Hotel.
We enjoyed our experience. The service was terrific and we enjoyed our meal as well. Would recommend for anyone.
The service was great but unfortunately the menu and food was not. The menu didn’t offer much and the food was very bland. I wanted to like it so much but just couldn’t
Experience and food were great. Service was excellent. However, wished we had ordered the charred octopus, because it looked and smelled delicious from the next table. Great restaurant!
Unfortunately everything we ordered that was not pizza was very over cooked: octopus, meatballs, salmon. The pizzas, however, were very good. The salads were also fine. I would not go back because the restaurant was virtually empty and the items I previously mentioned were completely overdone. Also the speaker above our head was blown out making the music unbearable, the staff was very nice to turn it down for us when we asked. We each had a margarita and they were good, but took a very long time.
Poor service. Food was bitter. Too expensive. Food was so bad we sent some of it back after one bite.
Our waiter was rude and being a smart aleck when we would ask a question about the menu items. Definitely do not recommend.
Was not given any notice that they closed for the day. Understandable that they closed, given the conditions, but it is very important to call everyone with reservations, so that they may make alternative plans.
Had two of the Pizzas. They were delicious! Would recommend for sure.
Only negative was that women’s restroom was out of order!
Hannah was amazing, we went to dinner for Valentine’s Day. They seemed to be understaffed but Hannah did a great job and was so sweet. The food was delicious! Especially the pizza
The kitchen was understaffed and our food took a very long time. There is a possibility that our server lost the order because most other tables were served before us even while seated long after us.
The server broke the cork off in our wine.
The lighting was bright enough to be close to the surface of the sun.
The temperature was so cold inside that a most every single guest was wearing a full coat while dining.
Brendan, who was not our server, did his best to try and make it right and I appreciate that.
Server was great and the food delicious!
Due to COVID, the tables were extremely spaced out (like, overly spaced out), there was nothing on the tables, no decor. It felt like an empty cafeteria. We booked Valentine's and they put us in a back corner in the bar in plastic booths.. it was just a very odd ambiance. I'm sure it's must better during normal times. Menu looked good but unfortunately we didn't want to pay that price for an uncomfortable dining room.
This was our first time dining and we were very impressed. The service was great, food was delicious and the Somali cocktail alone is worth returning for. The only issues 1) Valet parking was backed up at the hotel so had to park and walk, 2) it was so cold outside (Valentine's weekend 2021) that we were shivering sitting by the windows. The host did adjust the temperature at our request but it did cool our meals quickly.
Limited staffing due to Covid made for long waits to get seated, plus host gave us snarky attitude saying it wasn't his job to staff the place!
Great pizza and happy hour! $5 house wine, beer & well cocktails 4-7pm.
the food was delicious, especially the fettuccini alfredo. Ambiance was great. Our waiter was exceptional! Thank you for the great handling of everything during these COVID times!
The pizza was great and made with good quality ingredients. The $14 meatball appetizer was a hug disappointment though. They were overcooked and tasted like they were just reheated frozen meatballs; if you’re gonna charge that much for meatballs you should make sure they are homemade. The staff were all extremely helpful, courteous and attentive. Overall it was a good experience.
We are on our honeymoon!
Went here for Christmas. Was good! Do not know if we would go again. Service was great though!
The pizza is delicious! Wish we could have enjoyed indoor dining.
I had a fantastic dinner at Gattara, the Braised Short Rib entree is rich, flavorful, and delicious, so much so, that I was looking forward to having my leftovers the next day. The service provided by our server Brent was great, he was attentive, cheerful and had great recommendations for us. I look forward to returning to try some of their other items.
First time eating here- will definitely be back. Great food, great HH menu, & excellent service!
very good discovery we will be back...................
Food was very good, pizza was on point and risotto was so rich and creamy. Really delicious and the service was excellent as well. Very lovely atmosphere, great evening out!
Great food and our service was incredible. Our server was so great and made the dinner even better!!
Not a large choice of menu but food was good. Attentive staff. Nice range of drinks but they were expensive.
Everything we had was very good, but it’s a pretty limited menu. Staff was very nice and attentive and knew their stuff, especially the liquor choices.
Elk pepperoni pizza was amazing, and they also had a great wine selection.
And don’t even get me started on the Serengeti cocktail 👌🏼
I’ve been staying at The Warwick for a few weeks. Everyone at Gattara is wonderful. Every time I am in, the service and food alike are exceptional.
The restaurant and the hotel lobby are tastefully decorated with fireplaces, great lighting, comfortable seating, a baby grand piano, a living room style dining room, and games and books for the wait. I felt like I was eating in a home with our table in front of the fireplace. Our server Mary was attentive, but not overbearing; kind a conversational, but never a nuisance.
When the bill came out I was expecting to pay a decent price because the food was just marvelous. My friend and I split a Margherita pizza, the grilled octopus small plate and the burrata and a small salad, and only paid $37! (no wine or dessert tonight)
I was stunned, having forgotten the prices on the menu, to pay in total what I would’ve paid for the pizza or the burrata individually. The tastes were $$$$ quality for $$ prices. I couldn’t believe it. I will certainly be going back soon and often, next time with my Polaroid camera to take some photos in the lobby.
