Lamb chops were great!!! Blood orange margarita was delicious!!
Beautiful restaurant and great service. The kitchen needs to hold back on the salt.
Waiter and staff excellent nothing like that kind of service in area. But two of us became sick that night running to the bathroom all night long.
All good! Will return again.
Gatsby Landing is a solid addition to the Roslyn Harbor food scene. Nice bar, comfortable surroundings and great wait staff! The fish was well prepared and the duck breast was succulent. Nice addition to the dining choices in town.
Great food, great atmosphere overlooking a quaint pond.
Brunch was outstanding. Server was wonderful. Ambience was perfect. Five stars
Excellent ambiance and food, looking forward to returning.
We dined at Gatsby's landing on Saturday night. We had a fantastic meal. Everything was delicious including the Burrata appetizer. We were seated immediately as per our reservation. We also had a table overlooking the pond. The service was impeccable...I look forward to my next reservation at Gatsby's landing.
Decent food...great service. Went for lunch. Food was ok but not great. Would try them for dinner.
John is always a fab waiter! I believe the other waiter is Michael or Mark, and he is great too! Always a great time here! We go every time we have a concert at Tilles!
I was hoping to have a better experience. The staff were all very friendly and courteous. However, the menu is too limited and too pricey for what it is. The food was delicious!
Food was tasteful and elegantly displayed. However, It would have been helpful if the waiter had informed us that the portions are very small. Instead of being served 4 ravioli for dinner I could have ordered a few more dishes to have a decent meal.
The food and service were both amazing. And it was the best fresh squeezed orange juice my son and I have ever tasted!
As always we enjoyed our dinner at Gatsby’s Landing
Amazing food, in a beautiful restaurant, with direct views of the water. John, our waiter, was personable, professional and attentive, making our overall dining experience even better!
Waiter was not very attentive. They were out of bronzino and offered a replacement. They charged us more for the replacement.
Very disappointed with this place for RESTAURANT WEEK. They should post the restaurant week menu on line for review. There were few choices for restaurant week and I don’t know why they bothered to do it. It seemed like they wanted you to skip the restaurant week menu and order from the regular menu. Servings were very small . Bread was stale. Three of us got the cod entree which seemed more appetizer on a huge empty plate. The desserts were edible. After we left we went to a diner because we were hungry. Restaurant week should showcase your best dishes so that people would come back again. This restaurant week turned me off to this restaurant. Also the floor in room we were in was bowed which was dangerous. We were not seated in the main dining room with the lake view.
Decor NEEDS to be renovated. Very old looking and casual for this price point. Table cloth? Service was very courteous, but here too, not up to the expected level for the price. I have been to more expensive restaurants frequently, so not a matter of sticker shock. It is a matter of not being to the level expected at the price. Food was quite good. Pales relative to competition in Roslyn and other North Shore establishments. Reading the other reviews makes me question the legitimacy. Having dined at the top restaurants in New York for the twenty years there, and those considered top on the North shore in the 3 years out here, positive comments on the decor and service beggar the mind.
Gatsby’s Landing is a cute Nyc ambiance restaurant - great cocktail menu and the food was great! Fancy and nice for Long Island :)
We ordered from the restaurant week menu and the choices were not as good as the food that we’ve gotten from the regular menu. Generally, a nice place with very good food. The potato gnocchi with corn are great!
We sat at a lovely table overlooking the pond and we were greeted warmly. Our waitress was not familiar with the entree courses and she could not give a description of them. The food was very good. The house salad was delicious but a bit pricey. Overall it was a nice dining experience!
Restaurant menu. Very good food at excellent price. Enjoyable dining experience.
Dinner was delicious. Good menu. I often recommend to friends
great ambience; service and food - great neighborhood find!
Been here several times and neer disappointed. Food is great. Specia;s are very good. Service was fantastic.
Would recommend it tofriends.
Service was good. Food was good. Felt restaurant was understaffed. Thought for the price, the meal felt minimalistic. It was ok.
John and his staff delivered another wonderful experience. We will be back!
food was delicious service was very good. Waitress was very well informed on all specials and guided us to a great meal!
From the moment you walk in the service begins from the greeting, drinks, food and the service.
Worth the visit a must go to place!!
Waiters are superb! Food delicious! Tastes so fresh farm to table!
One of the best restaurants on LI! Such creative dishes. AMAZING drinks. Fantastic service. Glen the owner is just so nice and pleasant when you walk in. JOHN one of the servers is one of the best in the industry. HIGHLY! HIGHLY! recommend Gatsby's. It's one of our favorites and staples!
Excellent dinner. Good service. Told friends will return soon
Service was excellent. Food was outstanding; met all dietary needa without compromising quality or presentation. Dietary restrictions were considered and chef was accommodating.
Love the place.
Lovely experience. First time there. Food was outstanding and the service equally as good.
This was a nice find...we all agree that
We would definitely return again
The wait staff is not very attending and the food is okay
Always a great meal at Gatsby's and great indoor decor.
We had to wait about 15 minutes after our reservation time but I suppose that's ok on a Saturday evening.
Only real issue we had was at the bar when I ordered two drinks that really should be served in a martini glass (Cosmo and martini). Instead the female bartender placed a goblet in front of my date with her Cosmo at which point I voiced my disapproval. She said they ran out and that's all they had.
I pressed her again to 'do better' and she had someone go into the storage room or basement and came back with two martini glasses. Problem solved but it should never have occurred.
The waitress we had was new (fourth night there) but she was upfront with it and it was fine - she was quite good and friendly.
We will be back....
We really enjoyed this restaurant, looking forward to visiting again soon.
Keith the bartender made the evening. We sat at a bar table and his personality was the show. Food was good if not great. We had the highly vaunted brick chicken( good but not to write home about), the duck - ( ok) and branzino( ladies choice). Molten Lava cake was a real treat.
