   Service makes all the difference. Our first time here was a 5/5, this time was 3 at best and that’s taking our first experience into consideration. We ordered the bottomless mimosas and cocktails and had to wait awhile in between drinks. Our server kept disappearing for 10-15 minutes at a time and it wasn’t busy. We ordered the spinach dip app that he forgot to put in then asked us if we still wanted it then said he would go check on it when our meals already hit the table. The chicken and waffles are good we enjoyed it, we just wanted our app first. The spinach dip wasn’t worth the hassle it was pretty bad, I wouldn’t order it again. We asked for more syrup for our meal and he forgot so we had to ask again. It took almost 20 minutes. I think our server was just having a bad day but it felt like we were definitely not getting the same service of the tables around us. I’d return but probably not for a little while.

   Waitress was terrible. Inattentive, wrong food, forever to get check (even though we were clearly going to Nats game that started shortly). Walked by our table multiple times, ignoring empty glasses stacked up plates. Too many good venues in the area to deal with bad service and mediocre food again. Will not be back.

   From the moment we walked in until we left we were treated with the upmost respect and excellent service. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. At one point the manager stopped by our table to say hello and check on us. We were with friends that we have not seen in ages and we were given the time and space to stay and catch up with them without feeling rushed. Our food and drinks were very good and overall we had a fantastic night! Thank you to everyone at Gatsby for a great visit! We will be back!

   My food was great. Portions are large so bring a big appetite. I doubt you will take leftovers into the ballpark but there is enough to take home.

   The maitre'd was superb. Food good but onion rings are a bit over breaded. Should offer A1 or BBQ sauces rings/fries. Draft beer selection excellent. A key thing is that there is no restroom on the first floor.

   Food and service were great, as always. My one complaint is that with the handheld payment device, I could not see that I was not given Happy Pricing on my beer. I will be sure to ask for an itemozed bill next time.

   My overall experience was just average. The service was extremely slow in the beginning so much that my husband and I contemplated about leaving. I will not return due to the food just being okay along with all the brunch rules. However, one positive note is I liked that you could switch your unlimited drinks during brunch, allowing you to taste the different options.

   The food? Just okay. Nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. Service was the real letdown. Slow, inattentive, and kinda threw off the whole flow. If you’re going for the ambiance, it’s worth a visit. If you’re going for the food or experience? Might wanna keep it moving.

    Wow I had a blast at Gatsby ! I took my aunt on her first DC brunch here. She had a ball!! The DJ was spinning the drinks were flowing and the food was phenomenal. Shout out the Cheryl she was our server made us very welcomed and even recommended my new favorite drink Gretas punch ! I will defiantly be coming back. We need more places like this :)
