   I’m not sure where the fault lies here, but we made a reservation at Gatsby’s for my 70th birthday on October 7 at 2 PM - though we live in Westchester, I knew that was where I wanted to be on my 70th. Open Table confirmed the reservation and subsequently texted me twice to be sure we were coming. We drove from Westchester, arrived and found the restaurant CLOSED. How did Open Table and Gatsby’s allow me to make a reservation on a day the restaurant was closed?

   Drinks were ridiculously expensive. $17.50 for a martini plus a mysterious $1 Open liquor charge. We asked for a drink menu and were told there wasn’t any but they had a full bar and could make anything. Not sure how that led to an extra charge. VERY buggy if it’s not a windy night. Those mosquitoes were vicious.

   Food was good, but not amazing or anything. It was definitely a little overpriced for what you got. The wait staff was very friendly and welcoming. The view of the ocean was beautiful and calming. I will very likely eat here again because of the excellent service and view.

   The setting is beautiful, everything else was fair. Waitress was sweet, but not enough staff. Fast food beach menu. Long waits. Dessert selection minimal. A waste of a lovely space.

   Went there on Labor Day for lunch. Service was good but for menu price didn’t expect Salad dressing to be out of bottle and burger undercooked. If I ate on boardwalk would have been happier with the food and would not have cost as much. Restaurant has potential to be a good lunch place for the beach. However they need to step it up on the food.

   Amazing view and delicious food! I was there for lunch after the beach. Lobster rolls are fantastic For Dinner baked clams and lobster bisque Food took a bit long, but ambience was great

    Attentive and friendly staff. Great atmosphere and view. Food was delicious. Definitely highly recommend.
