   No water refill on an automatic 20% tip of $160 is pretty disappointing. I had high hopes for the food, too. Apps were the highlight but the servers seemed anxious to take them away ... felt pushed to turn the table. Burger had wayyyyy too much pepper.

   Lovely server. Food was outstanding and, what I picked (mushroom truffle pasta) was very rich. My husband loved his elk red sauce pasta dish as well. Drinks were reasonable as was everything on the menu except the scallops but I am sure they were market value. Can’t wait to go again.

    This is a true Omaha gem. This was my 4th visit to Gather and the service and food are OUTSTANDING each and every time. This restaurant has quickly become my favorite in Omaha. They have the best pork belly I’ve ever eaten, and the flavor of each dish I’ve tried is beautifully balanced. I hope to go back and try another dish very soon.

    Best place we've been to in Omaha. The food was incredible. The service was impeccable. Cocktails were on point. The only gripe I have is seating everyone literally right next to each other. I understand that makes it easier for service, but my intimate dinner was overshadowed by the loudest group of people. I didn't even realize how big the place was until I went to the restroom. Why limit the space? Also, was pretty confused about the happy hour. It only exist at the bar? Probably should mention that online.

    One of the freshest and most delicious meals we have had in a while. Each component of the meal was wonderful- the rosemary gin and tonic, house and Caesar salads, appetizer fries, Wagyu burger, and brussels sprouts side. Outstanding flavors and so fresh. Will be recommending and returning!

    This meal took two hours. We had a reservation and it was busy, but not crazy. We were seated and someone brought us waters. I feel like when they hear you only want water, you kind of get less great service because you aren't paying for alcohol. It took a while for someone to take our order. I told her what we'd like to start with and before I could finish, I was interrupted and she walked away. Because it was busy, we'd wanted to put our orders in too. But didn't get the chance. We ordered an app. The brie and mushroom on bread was absolutely amazing. It was brought by someone who wasn't our server so we couldn't order. It took a long time to see our server again. She finally came and we ordered. It took FOREVER for our food to come. She eventually came to our table saying she'd checked on it multiple times but it felt more like it had been forgotten to be put in. We'd been there over an hour by the time our food finally came. My husband got the bolognese and it was fine. I ordered the truffle pasta with grilled chicken. Maybe I don't have the palette for the meal. I love truffle pasta elsewhere but theirs had overwhelmingly bitter arugula throughout. I couldn't taste truffle at all. The grilled chicken was so charred and it got char all over the pasta leaving it very inedible. I should've said something but by that time I was just done. They did offer a free dessert due to the time and I know the hubs loves chocolate so we got the torte which he loved. Got the check and immediately regretted not sending my dish back since they charged $13 for super dry, charred chicken breast that came out super late. My bad. We still tipped well because I already felt like we were stereotyped as bad tippers but I've also worked as a server so we just tipped. Not their problem, but we've raised 3 babies in the last 2 years (foster parents) and this was our first overnight trip without the kids ever. We had high hopes for the meal but were so incredibly disappointed.

    My husband and I were so excited to get a same day reservation! We have been wanting to visit Gather since January 2022 (we had to cancel due to illness). Everything was amazing! Kathleen was knowledgeable and helpful with our orders. I hope you all figure out how to do vegetables in your hydroponics. It would be great to add on site beets and carrots to your menu. We plan on visiting again for our anniversary. Thanks for a great experience.

    We went for our anniversary and were disappointed. We had been a few months back and had great service and food. This time our server was not very friendly, completely forgot our appetizer and no apology when I ask her to remove it from our bill. We had mentioned it was our anniversary on the reservation and also when I messaged them about seating outside but no acknowledgement of it at all. It may have been a nice touch. - Update the manager Nancy reached out to me personally via a phone call. She apologized and said it was a rough night for them last night. She wanted to make it right and have us come back and try again. Every restaurant can have a rough night and it’s all in how you handle it and treat people. Thank you for caring. We will be back!

    Jackie was a delightful server along with the other two who brought things to the table. Because we were there early on a Monday, there was virtually no noise. Hope it is that way on other nights. Menu is quite eclectic, which was fine with us. I have heard some people say it is two off-beat for them. We had an excellent evening. Thank you

    Gather was a pleasant surprise. Wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Cocktails were interesting and made in a proper fashion. Food was delicious, served in generous proportions and constructed in an interesting manner. We'll certainly be back!

    Sat on back patio. Really nice area. Peyton was an excellent server. Charcuterie was very tasty. Nice variety. I would change the chocolate sauce on the donut desert. The vanilla and raspberry sauces are flavorful. Visit the basement to see the hydroponic garden. Overall very nice experience. Will return.

    Very disappointing second visit. Our first visit was outstanding but this one was not. The Caliente Way didn’t taste the same. It was watery and the blackberry and lime was not very prominent. It was excellent on our first visit. The fried chicken dish was great both times. The most disappointing was the bison dish. The server recommended medium rare so that’s how we ordered it. It came out sliced and was very rare. Below rare. And since it was sliced that means the kitchen saw it and was aware and sent it out anyway. Same with the server seeing it and still presenting it. I commented on it and she said she told them medium rare and they could “put it back on the grill”. We declined and just ate it since if they tried to recook the already sliced pieces that would have made it worse. Then on top of that, some of the sweet potato slices were way undercooked and practically raw. Some of the pieces were fine. We didn’t want to belabor the point and were not interested in waiting for a new dish (and wasting it) or having an awkward talk with some manager so we just let it go. Our dinner came out about 5 minutes after we ordered it which was just strange and felt so rushed. Obviously they needed to spend more time cooking it. We won’t be back after this experience.
