Grabbed a late dinner after some wine testing. Excellent food with awesome service. Very cool how they give you peach water with Applewood smoke at the start and then your bill in a small box with apple wood smoke as well.
This restaurant was the most perfect I have ever visited in year. The name is unique, the servers are kind, the two chefs were passionate!
Absolutely amazing food! We were so impressed with the atmosphere of the restaurant, the service and the pieces were reasonable as well! Very cool special effects added to the drinks and the bill at the end too!
My favorite restaurant in Kelowna. So glad it's opened back up. We love it here. The food is unusual and totally delicious. Will come back many times in the years to come!
Finally had the opportunity to dine at Gather. Not only was the food exceptional the service was top notch. Will definitely recommend and be back!
One of the best meals I have had out in a long time
I was impressed by the amazing service and casual sophistication, the complimentary shot and taster were a lovely yummy surprise! The food Korean tacos and tofu were the best I have ever had! I would highly recommend going here and I can't wait to go back!! We found the smoked pork to be a little overwhelming (very smoky) and the sauce on the prawn bowl overtook the rest of the flavors in the bowl.
We looked this restaurant up on the internet and found the Italian and Korean influence in the food intriguing. They are in the Innovation building in which made this restaurant was a hub for business lunches. With the Covid situation they recently opened for dinner. We decided to try it on spec as we were looking for a place to host a rehearsal dinner next summer. We entered the modern sleek setting which seems a bit vacuous and barren. We were greeted by a welcoming host who seated us and told us the name of our server. Our server arrived greeting us with sincere warmth. While we were reviewing the menu the kitchen sent over a complimentary smoke infused appetizer with a version of bococini on a spoon. The menu was a bit unusual but we ordered our selections. My husband ordered the Wasabi Salmon and I ordered the Shrimp and Calamari Pasta . The presentation of both meals were amazing and they tasted even better. For desert wee ordered the Creme Brûlée and the gelato with espresso. Both were delicious! After our meal we booked this venue for the rehearsal dinner we will be hosting.
First time at this restaurant - on a business trip and was looking for something different. The food was amazing and the staff friendly and courteous. Even with the more paired down menus due to Covid, the selection was very diverse for our group of four. We were not rushed and the staff were very patient as we were the last group. Highly recommended.
Great little spot. Food was fresh. You need to walk in, order and then then meal is brought to you. Hands off service but the food was good and the server was cordial.
Always enjoy the different food choice menu. The food and service is always consistent and delicious.
Unique food was tasty and well priced. Noise of fan running made it a little difficult to hear.
Creative menu, food presentation is great and one if my favs in Kelowna.
Frankly i had the best old fashioned I've had in kelowna at gather and that's enough for my to make a reservation every week . Knowledge staff , great food it's a cant miss for locals and tourists alike
Really enjoyed our recent dining experience at Gather. Interior design was fresh and modern, service was thoughtful and attentive. The food was the big star though, Fried tofu was so great I would have licked the plate if I was not out in public. I had the carbonara dish while my husband had the rice bowl. Both were excellent. Highly recommend.
Brought Friends and Family. Outstanding food and service. No ordinary dining experience. A foodie Paradise. Highly recommend!
Food was very interesting and delicious.
Presentation was very good. Happy hour prices for wine and appetizers very reasonable. Looking forward to going back.
We have recommended many friends and they have all loved Gather. Amazing and unique dining experience. The chef is an artist. One of our favourite dining destinations in Kelowna.
Good happy hour specials but menu is quite limited with mismanaged combinations of ingredients and flavors. Chief seems confused.
We enjoyed the food, as it was an Asian theme, and we all had some very different menu choices, compared to other restaurants. The actual menu itself, though, was very small and a little difficult to read for us seniors. LOL The waiter was very attentive and he even offered us some free croissants to take home, which we appreciated. I would recommend this restaurant.
With great food and service, a great place to go pre-cultural event due to location.
Heard great things about Gather and finally got to go. It didn't disappoint. The menu is very limited, but what is there, is amazing. The Poke bowl was outstanding and my husband loved the Schnitzel. The place was more casual than I expected but it still had great ambience. All in all, a great place to go. Highly recommend.
Try the gnocchi! Amazing! Also the pork schnitzel!
They accepted reservations, but the restaurant was closed during normal business hours, without warning or explanation.
Hi Dave, I am terribly sorry this was a technical error on our end. We were closed for a private catering but the system opened up to reservations as we did not shut it down properly. I also noticed that the sign that was meant to be put on the door was removed. I am terribly sorry. I would love to host you on us for your next visit please email me. I will private message you my email. Luigi
Every item on the menu is a taste sensation! My personal favourites are the bibimbap, spicy crispy quinoa tofu, spaghetti carbonara with a Korean twist, the incredibly tender pork belly and the superbly refreshing green salad and the must have pastries. Everything is beautifully presented. I love that my friends with nut allergies, gluten sensitivity and/or vegetarian can eat there. The staff are wonderful and Owner/Chef Sung is pure genius. “You gotta eat here!”
Great food & drinks, with excellent value for price. Casual atmosphere.
The food was quite interesting and I can't say I've ever had anything like it before. Their iteration of the bibimbap was quite good.
Price was also reasonable for the food. Would definitely come back again.
We booked a table for 12 to celebrate a birthday. Everyone loved their food, which was creative and absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding - the waitress even went the extra measure to go across the street to get candles for the birthday cake! All in all, a great place to hold our celebration and one we'd recommend. Currently, the restaurant closes at 8:00 pm on Saturday night, which might explain the lack of patrons. We booked for 7:00 without realizing this, but the staff happily stayed longer for us. (The early closing time isn't obvious on Open Table.)
A little bit confused by this place. They mean well and I hope they do succeed. It’s a a bit of everything. Morning coffee, juices, fried Italian/Korean fusion (aka lots of deep fried), fresh oysters, and lots of whiskey with just one beer on tap. Feels a little mixed up. A casual meeting place to support the innovation centre that should perhaps opt to keep it simple
Love this place, the food is well seasoned and tasty. We were there for mother's day lunch, on the Saturday because of work commitment. Portions are generous, we love to keep enjoying the leftovers at home.
The bibimbap very tasty and substantial. The pork schnitzel was a beautifully laid out tray of food. Our mid-week lunch was quiet in the restaurant since it was April.
Great place for business dinner with few vegetarian options. Enjoyed amazing fried gnocchi and outstanding salmon poke bowl, and even leftovers were excellent taken from the fridge next day. Will be coming back soon!
Food fusion was interesting. Menu described exactly what you were getting. Ginger tea was fantastic.
