Had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. Despite having reservations, we were seated in the bar area, which wasn't suitable for us. After multiple requests, we were finally moved to the dining room just as our meal arrived. Also, still waiting on that ice for my water! 😞

I had the pork tenderloin last night which I usually have and found it was not quite as good. It seemed the potatoes were different and the meat was not as tender as usual. However it was still very tasty. I was disappointed that you don’t carry any really good beers such as Little Brow Jug 1919 or Lamplightr. Guiness would also be nice. I’m not interested in drinking flavoured beers or hoppy ales. Flavoured beer is not beer.

Such a great overall experience!! Food was amazing, our server was so knowledgeable and friendly, and the ambiance was cozy and quiet. Went to celebrate our anniversary and had a great evening. Would definitely recommend for any occasion!

We’ve now visited Gather three times over the past six months, and overall, the experience has been pleasant each time. The restaurant has a beautiful open-concept design and a warm, inviting atmosphere that we really enjoy. That said, the acoustics made it a bit difficult to hear our waitress clearly during our most recent visit. Even though the restaurant wasn’t full, the noise level was quite high. While we enjoyed our meals, we’ve noticed the menu hasn’t changed much between visits. In fact, the lunch and dinner menus appear to mirror each other, which limits variety. I’ve ended up ordering the house burger three times in a row now—it’s a good option, but I’d love to see a few new additions to keep things fresh. We appreciated the attentive service, especially having our water glasses refilled promptly. However, the water itself tasted a bit off—lukewarm and slightly tangy, almost like straight tap water. A simple fix might be running it through a Brita filter and serving it chilled. In summary, we like Gather for its atmosphere and food quality, but we hope to see some updates to the menu and a few small refinements that could elevate the overall dining experience. We’ll likely return in the future, just not right away.

We celebrated an anniversary at the restaurant yesterday and were first time visitors. Chips and dip stater was reasonable but we expected more flavour from black bean dip. We selected the house salad and coconut curry with additional shrimp for our lunch. These dishes were very good for taste and presentation. We split the chocolate grenashe cake for desert which was exceptional. We chose the Canadian white wine that turned out to be better than expected. Finally our service was excellent being attentive without being overbearing. Overall we will certainly return for a second visit to try other dishes. We found that the noise level improves with a time after 1:30 pm.

Awesome service. It was our first time dining here. I have dietary restrictions. Our server Ava walked us through the menu to find and modify what I needed. She did a great job! Everything was delicious. Generous portions. Would definitely stop in again!

We had an excellent experience at the Gather. Mocktails, appetizers, entrees, and dessert were all wonderful. The server was really helpful and made sure we had a great time. The food was so good that we will return soon for more!
