Vegetable and Grain Pattie. Topped with Jack Cheese.
Boneless Center Cut Pork Loin Chops accompanied with Gateway Apple Sauce.
A large cut of black angus beef tenderloin wrapped with bacon and smothered with sauted mushrooms.
Arrived with prior reservations and seated in the worst locations in the whole restaurant! When we asked to be moved, which was 30 minutes later we had not even seen the waitress nor were given water or bread. After moving tables to a back room that smelled like cats we waited further. This place is not the special place I used to visit. Why would anybody spend the prices they are asking to have such a terrible experience. I will not be returning anytime soon. My assessment is as follows: okay food, unfriendly manager/concierge, very very slow service and a great view if you happen to get a nice spot on the back patio with a fire pit. Sorry Gateway but you were a big disappointment.
Valentines Day Dinner
I thought the food was good. Excellent view of the river. Great outdoor seating. Always a fun evening or even a good place for lunch also. They said you had not let them know about my reservation so we had to wait a bit. But they still did accommodate us
Our first time here and had to wait over 30 minutes from our reservation time to be seated. Sat outside near the water and the view was spectacular! At first wait staff was attentive then they dropped off and disappeared. Food was so so and priced a bit high for the quality of food. Inside could use a little updating. Not sure I will go back.
Great view of the river. Food was very good but a little pricey. Service was very good. Inside decor is a little dated and worn down...could use a remodel. Overall we had a nice time.
Birthday Lovely view. Relaxed atmosphere. Attentive staff. Delicious meal.
Food ok. Server said she couldn’t take our picture at our table.
I loved hearing the sound of the river and the food was better than I expected
very cool place to have dinner with fairly good food - a little steep on the pricing but it is probably due to location of the restaurant
Considering the other options in the area is still one of the best one but do not expect much. it is just fair. Personnel is very kind.
Unfortunately, my wife ordered DAB-a specialty for the evening. It arrived basically uncooked and inedible. Our server took the uneaten item off our bill, but the entre was so "mushy and uncooked" that my wife could not eat a substitute.
Outdoor seating with view on the river was great. I had the ribs which were reallly delicious
Tha food was just fine
Best pork ribs I’ve had in a long time!!! Only ate half rack because they were so meaty, but for $5 more I took the other half rack home for later.
Hindsight is 20/20. Gateway was recommended to us by our local host. We made reservations, but they were behind about 30 minutes. Only two draft beers. HUGE liquor selection. I ordered a filet that was not seasoned at all and the twice baked potatoes were not hot. My husband had the $20 coby burger, that was mediocre. All in all, it was just not great. We enjoyed the burger and beer place down the street by the river much, much more. 10 different draft beers and $10 burgers.
Good good, view of river awesome
Wonderful dining on the river. We sat outside and had a lovely meal. The service was excellent and the menu was extensive. The food came quickly and was very good. This was definitely a great find in Three Rivers.
Great dining and choices
Lovely on the patio with fabulous
Views of the river. We enjoyed our dinner. The salmon was excellent. A must dine choice in Three Rivers!
We ate here twice on our vacation to Sequoia National Park. The view of the river is spectacular. The food is good. The service is fine. Best option in the area as far as we could tell.
River view from the desk is incredible!!
Everything else needs improvement. We got seated quickly but then took a LONG time for somebody to come get orders (even drink orders). We were told 3 times bread would be coming (once it came it was delicious). We were all tired and very hungry after a long day so it was hard waiting with a child especially.
They ran out of onion rings and would not substitute another appetizer in the sampler. French fries listed as coming with sandwiches were potato chips (no fries available).
Food took a while to come out...dressing on my salad was wrong and my husband added bacon to his burger which was not on burger (we were too hungry to wait for corrected orders). There was only 3 of Us and we were there at least 1 1/2 hours, at least there was gorgeous scenery.
Added bacon WAS on bill and again we just wanted to get out of there at this point and did not want to wait for the $1 correction.
We arrived earlier than our reservation but was seated in short period of time. Waiter immediately came up and took our order. Service was good and attentive. Only down side to me wAs the waiter wasn't very friendly and a few times seemed irritated. The food was good and setting is very lovely!!
We dined outside over the river with our pup and you can't beat the view, but everything we ordered held up as well. I loved my pasta in marinara with chicken (great sauce!) and the coconut cake dessert was absolutely delicious. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant. Our waiter was awesome and even brought our pup some water which was really nice.
