Good was delicious. Nice varied menu. Shrimp po boy was perfect. Everyone raved about their food. Our server could not have been nicer or more efficient. This will definitely be our new spot when in that end of Philly. We actually liked so much we went two days in a row. Highly recommend

Excellent stop before a Phillies game. I love that it is a little out of the way, so the crowds were tolerable. The staff was very attentive & friendly. The menu is limited but the tuna nachos were excellent & old bay fries were awesome! We had two salads as well, the Pomegranate and Burrata was very good! We will definitely be back.

This place is nice, but expensive for pretty much basic food. The fall sangria was tasty, not too sweet. The homemade chips were great. We sat indoors and upstairs, which was quiet. It was a bit difficult to get to because they are doing road construction.

My wait staff "John" was very attentive. The one concern is they kept taking my fork & not replacing until I asked for it. My food lacked flavor, and was luke warm when it arrived to our table upstairs. My salmon skin was soggy and not crispy. Calamari was thick, chewy and not crispy. Had to send fries back because they were cold and my fries have to be hot. It was my first time here and to be honest, I do not have the desire to return.

Reservations for 7:30, I get there at 7:30 but it took 5-10 minutes for someone to even greet me while I waited at the hostess table. Finally when a hostess acknowledged my presence and decided to walk me over to my table, a server was staring at me with a look of distain while whispering to a man who looked like a manager. That server ended up being my server and first thing she says is…”our kitchen closes in 20 minutes, so if you want food, you have to put in your order now.” I wanted to let her know that I was on time for a reservation and if your staff if running behind on seating people in an empty restaurant, maybe consider not taking reservations 30 minutes to close. I don’t think I’ll ever come back here. I still graciously tipped the server over 20% but she wasn’t very pleasant and the atmosphere within the first 10 minutes made it hard for me to enjoy my time and my meal.

Food and alcohol choices are great. Really liked the easy parking at this venue and also that it's very close to Wells Fargo Ctr & FDR Park and fairly close to Lincoln Financial Field and Citizens Bank Park.

Excellent restaurant within walking distance from the hotel. We had incredible service and food was delicious. Its the type of service where it feels like the owner might be bringing out your food. Our visit was was during happy hour so we got a few appetizers- they were unique and great presentation. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Philly!

The staff at The Gatehouse are fantastic and knowledgeable. This menu has something for everyone like tuna nachos, veggie options, grilled shrimp, and the burgers are to die for! Nice drink list as well. The outdoor dining area and beer garden are really nice getaways from the busy city. Quiet, breezy, and spacious.

Hostess did not seem very welcoming. Noisy atmosphere upstairs even with the few tables that were filled. Kitchen Service seemed disorganized with entrees coming out before appetizers. With entree served on a small appetizer plate. Made it difficult to eat. Waiter was pleasant however and made the experience bearable.

Went to the Gatehouse for a pre concert dinner. While the food was good and all who were servicing our table very nice they seem to be lacking employees. Our server seemed to have too much to do so could not be attentive to all of his customers. We waited about 20 minutes for our check once we asked for it then waited again to get our card and receipt. Hopefully they will be able to get this worked out.
