All the food we got was excellent. I would recommend making a reservation as they can get busy. We had good experience and a great ambiance.

The food is amazing. Get something with the rosemary chips. The cocktails are delicious but a little bit expensive. Indoor and outdoor seating both have a nice ambiance.

This was our first time at the Gatehouse. The atmosphere at lunchtime was great: lots of people enjoying themselves. Service was quick and efficient. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Some dishes were unique and definitely worth trying. Old standbys, like fish and chips, were outstanding as well. There are many more things on the menu we want to try. We don’t live in Philly itself but make frequent trips to the city. The Gatehouse will become one of our “go to” places for eating.

We had an absolutely terrible experience. Our waitress, raised her voice at our table and continued to be rude throughout the rest of our visit. It made us feel extremely uncomfortable, and we definitely won’t be coming back. First and last time waste of 100 dollars save time to go somewhere more welcoming!
