Way too much salt! Started with a salad that was way too salty. (Who puts salt on a salad?) Thought that was just a kitchen oversight but when the chicken entree came it to was drowned in salt. (And I do like salt, but this is way, way too much.) Never had this issue here before so maybe the cook just had a bad night.

We had the pasta and the presentation, freshness and flavor of the sauce was all so succulent. The drinks a great but a bit over priced. Overall the food was a great value and well worth a return visit.

First time here. Not too impressed. Small, over-priced appetizer and main dishes. We got the braised pork rigatoni and the chicken mole tacos. The rigatoni was average and the mole was good. Service was good and the ambience was cute.

Slightly down at the heels and tired looking, it’s obvious that the present owners took over an existing establishment without bothering to paint or change the fixtures . The waiter was genial but overzealous and his lengthy spiel (repeated verbatim to each new party) became tiresome . The food: Someone in the kitchen really knows how to make a risotto : both the beetroot (side) and mushroom cashew (main) versions were superb. Scallops were well prepared but a hummus appetizer missed the mark -without body and unpleasantly overwhelmed by garlic . moderately priced .

The food was amazing - from the starters to the sticky bun for desert. The service was attentive and answered all questions. We will DEFINITELY be returning. A delightful night out with friends with delicious food! Highly recommend.

Terribly loud music! On a day like Valentine’s Day where ambience is key, the music was more in line with a club versus a high quality restaurant. Took terribly long for the courses to be served. My husband and I were there for an hour and fifteen minutes still waiting for our main course to come through. Had high expectations, will not be going again.

This was our first time trying Gastrotheque. The octopus is a must!!! The tile fish with beet risotto was outstanding. Two of our party had the mushroom past dish and loved it. And of course the sticky bun was crazy. However, be aware the sticky bun takes a long time so order it like while you are eating your entree. Many of the reviews have commented on the loudness. While it is certainly not quiet, it is not overly loud. We were still able to talk and such. Overall, an excellent evening with really really good food.

We had dinner at Gastrotheque last night. Food and service were excellent. The staff are all very professional and help each other at your table. They seem happy in their environment. Gary, the owner was most gracious and helped us with some great food choices. He appears truly grateful for all his guests. The food was creative and nicely presented. Parking in the back was easy and plentiful. I recommend that you put Gastrotheque on your list. Good vibe in this upscale bistro.

Always a super fun culinary experience. The food, the craft cocktails (Especially the Gastrotiki and Dear Maria), the wine list, the ambiance and the terrific service are all reasons we keep coming back for more. This is one of our favorites for sure.

This was our second time visiting and we loved it just as much as the first time! Our server Frank was attentive and provided great suggestions. We love the ambiance and the food - it is a louder environment for those who might be concerned - but we love that aspect about it. The baked Brie on special was phenomenal and our entrees and sticky bun were perfect!

We loved our food and the service. We will come back. It may have been loud inside but we sat outside and enjoyed ourselves, there was music but not too loud. It was great food and hospitality overall.

Our 4th time dining here. Food & drink are always 5 star but we were underwhelmed by the servers who seemed more intent in enjoying time at the bar doing shots than serving their customers. Not sure if we’ll return after this experience ~ maybe we’ll take out so we can still enjoy their delicious food minus the tepid service.

The food was good but the noise from the bar was overwhelming. The waiter seemed uninterested and didn’t listen to our requests. He may not listened because it was so loud he may not have heard the questions.

I really have no idea of how this place has a noise level rating of moderate. Are there really louder places? If one wants to experience nightclub loud music with good food and spend a lot of money, this is the place to go. Our cocktails were superb; the elk was fantastic as were the beef cheeks. We really liked the fatback, I mean, pork belly. But if you want a relaxing time and enjoyable conversation with your dining companions or if you appreciate that loud music contributes to deafness, don’t go to this place. The owner and his friends clearly like the vibe more than we did. We won’t be going back.

Everything was awesome. Our server was attentive, personable, and just perfect. The food was delish. We had the daily fish and the wagyu beef cheeks. Super flavourful especially the accompanying risotto and polenta. Dessert of hot sweet buns was so huge and we couldn’t leave a bite behind!

We went to this restaurant prior to going to see a production at Empire stage in Fort Lauderdale. We were a party of three and all of us loved our meals. The staff is very attentive and informative. We also met the owner Gary who is very personable and inviting. We shall return.

The FOOD is excellent however, the atmosphere needs attention. This restaurant took over the space formally occupied by Canyon. My wife and I actual believe that the food here is superior and the service, with MANUELA, was top-notch. However, its puzzling why the ownership didn't spruce up the old environment? The place simply does not match up to DATE NIGHT environments in and about Fort Lauderdale. Great weekday evening place for very good food but not as an impressive restaurant as it could easily be.

We went in a few months before for drinks and was told that the dinners were great so we decided to give it a try. There were 4 of us that went for dinner. We had a great experience with the bartenders and the drinks were great. The food took way to long and came out cold including the appetizers. It was unfortunate that the food was cold because it seemed like it had a good taste to it. I believe if steam is not coming off the food don’t serve it.
