   This restaurant has one of the best brunch. It’s definitely added to my favorite brunch spot in Queens. The Scampi and Grits was absolutely delicious.

   Excellent service and food. The ambiance was nice on a Sunday night, not crowded at all. Unique theme with movies playing on a projector, no sound, just subtitles. Our server was very attentive and polite, food was fresh and tasted great.

   Went for dinner to catch up with an old friend. I think they only had one waitress on for dinner on a Friday night. Food was very good. Had a cool movie on playing in the bar was a nice night. Under $100 too and we bought a bottle of wine and two main dishes.

    Gastroteca Astoria is a lovely little spot in the neighborhood - great for a date night or a dinner with friends. The space is beautiful and romantically lit. The food is delicious - although, perhaps a little overpriced.

    My steak dinner special with pesto risotto as a side dish was so salty I had to send it back. The staff was terrific and gave me an entirely new meal. The service there is excellent and their brunch is superb

    This was my first time here. I came with some friends for my birthday and it was the perfect spot. The service was great and our server was so accommodating and sweet. She was always smiling and checking in on us. The food was just as good. My friends raved about how fresh everything tasted. I would certainly recommend and can see myself coming back again!

    The restaurant was quite crowded for the Thanksgiving crowd. While we had a reservations that we had to wait an additional 20 minutes just to be seated at a two-person table. Although greeted by the waitress we waited, We waited another 30 minutes just for drinks. The Thanksgiving menu was limited by missing one of the two entrée choices that they had. While the food was not memorable, we will not be returning in the future

    What a great thanksgiving meal. Excellent price and portion sizes and every course was outstanding. I be back to try the routine menu since it is obvious the chef is top notch. I liked the comfy relaxed atmosphere as well. Oh and the apple and pumpkin pies were the best I’ve had in the City. Thanks for an exceptional holiday treat.

    The food overall was good. They haven't perfected how to cook an egg as the ones that should've been soft were overcooked and viceversa. The steak and burger dishes were delicious but, the zeppoles were disappointing. The atmosphere is cute but, we waited a very long time for drinks on a not so busy day.

    We were looking for a nice place to eat after dropping somebody off at LGA. Gastroteca was only about 15 minutes away so we gave it a shot. What a find! I so much preferred this to (I'm sorry) the usual Greek fare in Astoria. Pleasant, subdued atmosphere, interesting food and wine, excellent service. What more could you ask for? I'll be back for sure.

    Ordered a California eggs benedict with home fries and a garlic-jalepeño bloody mary (it had some cute name but I forget). Service was good, food was very nicely prepared. Nothing to complain about but nothing remarkable either - pretty much what you would expect for the price point. The bloody Mary was disappointing. Lots of spice but not enough flavor & sort of watery. Served with pickled cauliflower, which was nice but really could have used some quality large green olives. It was not loud in there, definitely easy have a conversation and catch up with a friend. Atmosphere was spacious yet cozy and cute, not an easy combo to pull off. I would definitely go again.     Gastroteca is our go-to brunch spot on the weekends. Everyone we bring there loves it!! Dinner is also amazing. This is definitely at the top of our list of favorite restaurants in Astoria!
