It was a great Date Night spot. The waitress was busy but she still made time to take great care of us. The food did not let down, and the drinks were the icing on the cake. The service and food was so good we ended up coming back later in the night to have a few drinks. I highly recommend this place.

We had not been to the gas light in a while and decided to try it again. We went on a Saturday night at 7:30, we were able to get a reservation the same day. I got the fried shrimp appetizer, as my dinner, and my boyfriend got the pork chop. The food was fantastic! Someone said they recently got a new chef from Hal’s? Not sure about that but the food was really really good and came out quickly. My main complaint would be how long it took to get our drinks. I ordered a margarita which took a really long time and it was served as a martini with no ice. It was rather bitter and not that great. Our server told us that they were very short staffed… As is everyone these days so I understand that, but the folks behind the bar didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Would definitely try it again though. There was a DJ coming in to set up for music later in the night but we left before that started.

Had a great time at Gaslight. Great food. I had the ribeye with lobster mac n cheese. Perfect temp for my steak. Great service. They had live entertainment that night as well. We danced all night.

I wish I could give this 0 stars but I can't. I made this reservation for Fathers Day brunch, but the restaurant wasn't open. Not sure why they would have open reservations if they are not open for brunch on Sundays.

Food was excellent, but we had to ask for our check 3 times and then the server wanted the card to close out without showing us the bill. I don't think she intended anything untoward, but it gave us pause about using a credit card so we paid in cash.

We showed up for our 6:30pm reservation on a Sunday and were told that they sent the kitchen staff home already because they "didn't think they had any reservations for the night". Sending your kitchen staff home before the dinner rush?? Complete bust. My family then tried to go there for Mother's Day brunch with a reservation they made on here and the place wasn't even open. Seems that they don't want to do business.

The food here is excellent! The mashed potatoes and the steak were amazing along with the brussels sprouts. Two of the biggest turn offs however are the prices and the service. Although our server was somewhat attentive, he brought me the incorrect steak dish I ordered. I ordered the filet and he brought me the ribeye. Ribeyes are normally way more fatty so I could only eat half of it and take a quarter of the rest of it home. He did not take correct the mistake when the bill came I had to remind him to adjust it when paying. Also, they were out of all Chardonnay by 6:00 on a Saturday night. Even though the food was absolutely amazing, the ambience and the lack of professionalism in our server doesn’t justify the prices in my opinion. We also paid the bill using some kind of device and the only options were 15 or 20% or no tip. It was a bit confusing to use and we never got a receipt. A lady manager came to check on us and when we explained what had happened with the mixup in the entree, she did nothing about it and never came back over to follow up. Considering this was bw 5:30 and 7:00 on a Saturday night and we were maybe one of two tables in the entire place, you’d think the staff would be more attentive and willing to please? There are so many excellent restaurants in the area including ones that definitely charge less for their food, provide better quality service and a much better atmosphere that I don’t know if this place will stay open for long. I may go back however in the near future only because they have an open mic night on Wednesday nights and that seems like a lot of fun. I feel like if a restaurant calls themselves a “bar and grill,” the prices should reflect that more. The ambience definitely does but a $60 lobster entree and a $45 ribeye do not.

Don’t let any pictures fool you. This is not a romantic dinner for 2 place. In fact it’s a lack of atmosphere and not in a charming way. Our server recommended some good dishes but spent too much time at bar. The worse beer inventory on the planet. Wine list a joke. Food good but very expensive and side dishes came out after we finished our entrees. With all the wonderful restaurants in Roswell I am sorry I chose this one. A very good Pittsburg Ribeye however.

What a GREAT a experience we had this past Saturday. At The Gaslight. It was our first time there, and my expectations were surpassed by the food! Fes was a great server and host. We were there early (5:45pm) and it was rather empty. However - more tables were occupied at 7:30pm. It turns into a nightclub later in the evening - but Roswell Friends: DON’T SLEEP ON THE AMAZING FOOD! The crab cakes were awesome, asparagus and Brussels for sides were perfectly seasoned & prepared. And the 10oz filet & fries? Some of the best we’ve had. And that’s saying a lot. We will absolutely be back for more food!

The shrimp app was really good & enough to share. But would make a great entree. Salad was very good. Fried Chicken was great & relieved that it was boneless- plenty to share. Snapper was excellent. Service was wonderful. Only complaint would be that the beer was not cold.

I needed a place to hold a retirement party for a Cobb County school teacher. I spoke with Rob at Gaslight Bar and Grill in downtown Roswell as I had been there several times for Sunday brunch (and their brunches are delicious). He not only accommodated my request, but he also made it so easy during my busiest time of year. All I had to do was send out an invite. In the end, Rob, Mike, and the entire Gaslight staff provided us with incredible service, delicious food, and a classy environment at a very affordable price. Many do not realize there is a restaurant near the gas station at the corner of Magnolia and Atlanta Street; however, Gaslight is truly a hidden gem in a popular part of town.

We went for Mother’s Day…we had reservations which was fine as we had a table when we arrived. However, the mass confusion was unreal. The hostess went and prepared us a table then 4 waiters asked if we needed to be seated. Once seated we were told that they had over 300 guests during the day so a lot of the menu items were not available which goes to explain most of their overall confusion. How do you not order enough food to serve and entire day especially on a holiday. So we ordered our food; each persons plate had the wrong side or cooked incorrectly. The flatware was so dirty again possibly due to confusion of the staff didn’t really know what was happening. The favor and taste of the food was delightful and delicious so no complaints. I would just say they need better organization and management for days like this.

Took over an hour to get our food. Place was maybe at 65-70% capacity. Music was insanely loud and bad. Food came and while the flavor was good two of our 5 meals were cold. I paid $30 for Lobster Benedict that I could barely eat. The flavor was good just cold food. No effort to comp our meal was mentioned by manager. Asked thre different people multiple times for our food. Will not be back.

Well- I don’t like leaving bad reviews but….this was definitely not a great experience. We arrive at 7:40 and still didn’t have food at 9:00pm. We got 1 appetizer delivered and only 1 drink- were out of water most of the time. We had to ask about our food twice and when we finally got it (9:20) I would say it was decent. The people who ordered the braveheart filet loved their meal and the snapper- food was good but the service, timing and price were out of line. $40 for a filet plus $10 for asparagus, $22 for 8 fried shrimp? It was over $500 for 6 people. I think they need some work on staffing, their kitchen help and their menu.

The food was very good. Our server was nice but took twenty minutes to get drinks. And we ordered and waited over 45 minutes for food. And hardly anyone was in there and it was early around 645. Most of the servers where young and unfortunately hanging out at the bar. A good manager is needed. Food was very good might try again but for 150 a couple without tip service needs to be much much better.

I feel like we were gaslit by the Gaslight reviews. The servers were great but that was the highlight. Brunch reservations are not required, for a reason I think. The place hadn’t really opened from closing the night before so it felt like we shouldn’t even be there as the only patrons for the first 35 minutes after opening. After a while they got some music going and it was good if you like explicit lyrics with your brunch dance music. The eggs were rough (powdered?) and the steak was o.k. but the hollandaise on the Benedict had some much lemon, it killed the taste of the shelled lobster tail laid across the Benedict platter. Coffee was available in a copper cup which the server rightly warned us would be very hot… This might be a great nighttime place but for brunch it’s a pass for us boomers.

We went for Sunday brunch. The food was surprisingly good! Portions are really big and everything was delicious. Service was friendly but a little spotty - they forgot a few things and didn’t have others. The music was so loud that we had to ask them to turn it down (and then it was still so loud we couldn’t talk.) The owner was very gracious and I expect the restaurant will do well. We would try it again but probably for a Saturday night dinner - I’ll bet the dancing is a lot of fun!

The overall experience was good. Theambiance was good. Service was good and most of the food was good. My wife's dinner was tasty, but my ribeye was certainly not 16 oz and it had a smokey flavor to it that damaged the taste....it wasn't like an intentional smoking or seasoned smoke but rather like it was pickingup the smoke from something charred. Wierd...My wife's filet was great though...We will be back, but I won't get the same thing...
