   Our poor waitress seemed to have so many tables. She was really sweet and worked hard. Wish she had some help!

   I made my reservation well over a week in advance for 4pm. I was running a bit late and called to inform the restaurant. At that time they told me they have decided they were closing at 5pm. They allowed us to come and served us, but was very apparent they were under staffed.

   Second time we’ve gone and the food takes forever to come out. Understand staffing issues everywhere so it is what it is i guess.

   We did not have a good experience at Gaslight. Long wait for our drinks and an even longer (1.5 hours) wait for our food which ended up being barely mediocre. Our sweet server was quite flustered and it wasn’t her fault that the wait times were ridiculous but would’ve been nice to be offered some sort of concessions. The UFC fight with blood and all on at least 4 TVs did not help the situation…

    We had a nice meal. My only concern was I saw only one waitress, and she was very busy. I realize that is often a problem currently, but it was very difficult for her to keep up with everything. She did an excellent job under the circumstances.

    Our waitress seemed bothered by any requests we made. She only visited us once after we received our food. I know these are difficult times, but she could be more friendly and kind. It was our first visit, and I plan to bring my granddaughter in on Thursday evening. So, I hope things go much better.

    Disappointed that they did not have Pino Noir wine. I believe it is a very popular wine and was surprised they did not have it on the menu any longer! It was spring break for Miami University so the students were out of town which always allows for quiet dining. We sat in the back room which I requested and it was nice and warm and quite since we were the only ones there during the entire evening. Another person joined us for a delight evening. Their appetizer, Pepe was excellent. Would go back again to try different items on their menu. I liked the categories and the amount of choices in each. I hate menus that have so many choices it is like reading a book and too much to chose from. Overall, would recommend Gaslight Brewhouse.

    The service was horrible, our server would never check on us and she brought our food out cold after 45 minutes waiting after ordering. I ordered a steak that was over $30 and it wasn’t cooked to what I asked for, nor was there a single bit of salt or pepper on it. But couldn’t make a complaint because our server would just disappear and multiple tables had to track her down to get there check to leave. Luckily I was able to track her down to get my check before she disappeared again, I paid online via toast and left. 1/10 for me

    We were touring the college with our Daughter. Kendall wasn’t even our waitress but was amazing! She was so sweet and cheerful and told us some tidbits about why she choose Miami. Really made our Daughter feel welcome!

    The portion was ridiculously small. The patty melt looks like it was taken off of someone else’s plate. We all truly got 3 small waffle fries as our sides. The waiter tried but didn’t have a chance, took 35 minutes to get a beer. Very very poorly ran place. Came in town from Michigan.
