Gaskins Cabin Steakhouse is built around a 2-room log cabin built in 1864. Originally the home of John Gaskins and his family, it was a private home for 120+ years. Oven roasted prime rib highlights the menu, with hand-cut, char-grilled steaks being classic favorites. Enjoy a delicious meal in an historic location.

    Dawn was our most excellent server. She was very knowledgeable with personality plus! She told us about Gasken’s famous mushroom soup. We were sold by our first spoonful! The atmosphere was perfect. And the food was beyond compare! Tender Filet Mignon and Prime Rib! It was enough for these two Kansas gals to eat the leftovers the next night!! We highly recommend Gasken’ Log Cabin on your next stop in Eureka Springs!!!

    We always have a memorable time at Gaskins Cabin. I had a fillet and my wife had the Prime Rib. The fillet was wonderful! Lots of flavor, cooked to perfection. Prime Rib looked perfect as well. Started off sharing a bowl of the mushroom soup....it is incredible. If the steaks weren't so good, we could make a meal out of the soup and bread. Don't miss the soup, it is wonderful. Ambiance is what you would expect from a cabin. Simple, but tasteful. Clean and tidy. Can get a little loud at times but not annoying. We had a wonderful time and will certainly be back. Don't miss Gaskins Cabin if you are in the Eureka Springs area. You won't be disappointed. Service was excellent!

    I would like to give it four or five stars but the water had a terrible taste and smell that somewhat affected the whole experience. If you go just bring your own water and it will be a great experience.

    Gaskins Cabin is one of our musts whenever we are in Eureka Springs. The prime rib and steaks are cooked to perfection. The staff is great and take good care of you.

    Kendra was fantastic and did an excellent job. Timing is everything and I like to finish my salad before my entree is delivered. She was excellent!! Kudos to her and next time we’d love to have her as our server.

    Wish we had gone years ago! We celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday there. The atmosphere, service by Kendra and food were perfect! Prices were very reasonable! We will definitely go back!

    Amazing salad with home made blue cheese dressing, perfectly cooked ribeye steak. Pre meal martini was shaken and had a film of ice and a nice Pinot Noir with the steak. A neat setting in an old trappers cabin that maintains the charm of years ago. Andy was our waiter who has been with Gaskins for over 12 years and has command of the menu and provided options. My wife had Linguini with grilled chicken that looked amazing and she loved it. You cant go wrong here, just make a reservation to insure there will be a table available.
