Gärtnerei

Vorspeise war ein Fischgericht und sehr unterwürzt. Auf dieses ist dann nachdem ich es angesprochen habe nicht weiter eingegangen. Auch die offenen Österreichischen Weine haben uns nicht geschmeckt.

We were pleasantly surprised: the service was friendly, even with some humor, the food was excellent, a couple of tiny imperfections that may not give. it a Michelin star, but if they wanted to they could get one. But the restaurant is perfect as it is, more relaxed and low key this way. We bad a wonderful evening and will go back.

Overall, we had a nice dinner despite the delay (our table was reserved). All dishes were very well presented and the quality was good. Some dishes were in my opinion quite over priced, indeed this is not the best restaurant food-price you may find in Berlin, however the location (Berlin Mitte), the good service and the romantic atmosphere will balance this out. A special note goes to the owner who was a real gentleman and treated us very well. Congratulations.

War ein netter Sommerabend mit sehr gutem Essen.

Alles super gewesen!! Sehr gutes Essen und die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm!!

Sehr lange Wartezeiten, das Essen war gut, aber etwas zu teuer. Recht offensives Upselling durch die Bedienung. Atmosphäre ist toll.

Freudig haben wir über OpenTable einen Tisch für 2 auch noch kurzfristig am Samstag Abend gefunden und sogleich in der Gärtnerei gebucht, weil wir da immer schon einmal zu zweit hingehen wollten. Leider mussten wir dort angekommen feststellen, dass obwohl der Slot verfügbar war, das ist in Berlin-Mitte (oder zumindest in der Gärtnerei) keine Garantie ist, dann wirklich den Platz zu bekommen. Die Entschuldigung fiel auch äußerst lapidar aus und als könnte er nichts dafür. Wir haben aber zu zweit den Weg dorthin aufgenommen und wurden dann vor den Kopf gestoßen. Äußerst schwach!

A nice charming restaurant basically vegetarian and a few non vegetarian choices. Decor is tasteful and probably also a nice place for a date. However the meals are pretty expansive the taste is ok. Service was unfortunately not so good. We had to wait too long for the waiter to arrive and the aperitif was served way too warm. The thing is that I asked for ice cubes hoping they would offer me to bring the drink colder but I waited very long for the ice cubes and no fresh drink was offered. Same with the white wine we ordered which was way too warm too. I had a starter and my accompaniment had just a main course. In an upscale restaurant I would expect to be asked if we would like to eat together which doesn’t happen. Main course was served nearly together and the taste was good. I had a dessert which was brought and it would had been nice if waiter would had asked if we would like two spoons to share it just in case. However it doesn’t happen. The evening ended the same way it started, we had to ask two times for the check out. All over: experience was ok, prices too high for the service and the food, drinks too warm.

Geburtstag

Guter Laden für ein nettes Dinner. Für meinen Geschmack etwas zu dezent gewürzt. Ist aber halt dieser Trend... andere mögen das anscheinend.

Die Speisen waren mit viel Fantasie zubereitet und sehr lecker.
Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich, allerdings dauerte die Zubereitung etwas lange, so dass man zwischen den Gängen recht lange Wartezeiten hatte.
Das Ambiente ist - wie soll man es sagen - außergewöhnlich.
Insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Abend mit sehr leckerem Essen zu angemessenen Preisen (Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Wasser für knapp 40€/Person).

Fantastisches Geschmackserlebnis in edlem aber nicht aufgesetztem Ambiente. Die Weinkarte kann sich sehen lassen. Der frisch gemachte Kaiserschmarrn war als krönender Abschluss ein Gedicht!

Sehr freundlich, sehr zuvorkommend! Essen war ganz ok! Der Gruß aus der Küche war wahrscheinlich eher als Witz aus der Küche zu verstehen! Alles in allem ok, aber nicht mitreißend!

Toller geheimtipp! Super leckeres Essen und große vegetarische Auswahl. Definitives GO TO!

Höheres Preisniveau, das aber gerechtfertigt ist! Die Qualität ist wirklich gut!
