    The food was outstanding. We went there to celebrate my wife's birthday, she was really looking forward to their prosecco dressing they had the first time we went. Unfortunately, they no longer had that dressing. That was the only downside of the visit. They brought out a special birthday dessert for her as well to help celebrate her day.

    Great service from Izzy & QT! Not crazy about the new menu. Used to love having the grilled oysters that are no longer available. The menu seems a bit limited and not very appealing. Would like to see additional seafood and chicken options. The cocktails & key lime pie dessert were great!

    Everything was excellent. Cocktails were done really well. Collards greens were stellar. Filet was cooked a bit long but still tasted great. It's a regular stop for us.

    From the time you arrive to the time you leave you are greeted and treated respectfully. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing and well worth the price. My boyfriend had the King cut prime rib and I had the Queen cut and we shared the whipped mash potato's, crispy brussel sprouts and mac & cheese and it was well enough food for the two of us.

    For the menu prices, the food was a bit under seasoned. The Prime rib cut was a good size but very chewy as though after it was cooked it was not allowed to rest. The loaded bake potato came with very little cheese, sour cream and butter. There was no salt and pepper on the table but was brought to us when we did ask for it. Over all the restaurant was very clean and nice just expected a little more when you are paying a premium for a dining experience. Our server was very attentive and accommodating.

    Our first visit to Garrison Oak Steakhouse was a huge success. Everyone was polite and appreciative of our patronage and our server, DJ, was excellent. Our dinner and dessert was delicious. We can’t wait to go back.

    Food wasn’t good. Took 50 min to get after ordering. Sweet tea is instant not brewed. Ceaser salad tasted extremely fishy. Calamari was horrible

    Had a 6:30 reservation arrived few minutes early no maitre d’ at the front for around 10 minutes. We were told to have a seat and we will call you. Waited in a busy bar area and we were seated about 10 minutes later. There were very few customers seated and I wonder why we had to wait twice before begin seated. Bad start to our meal. Very nice waiter he asked use if it a special night, no but we are going to the concert after dinner. He assured us we have plenty of time. Ordered drinks and our food order was taken. He came back saying the bar was busy several times. No drinks after about 1/2 hour. He stopped bye again and I canceled my drink but not my wife’s. Side salad arrived no wine yet. Waited a bit and the wine showed up, waited some amore no meal 50 minutes into the ordeal, got the server he had quite coming around, asked about our meals more excuses. Told him I needed to go to our car and get our coats for the soon to start show and if our meals weren’t there we were leaving. He got the manger. She apologized but was short and blaming the staff and computer, I said that’s not my problem. She agreed and I also said to her if our meals aren’t served when I get back then I’m walking out. Went got our coats about took about 10 minutes. Came back to the table no meal. I always do what I say so we started to walk out. The server started shouting at the top of his lungs their walking out yes I was. He screamed in the lobby their walking out at the manger, she calmly told me I needed to pay for our drinks. No problem I understand that. Went over to her and said I’m true to my word and are walking out. She tried to charge me for both drinks one that never came and the of wine that took over half an hour to get. Had the server redo the ticket and I paid. The glass of house Chardonnay was over 15$. It was bad experience. I wound not recommend them and feel pretty sure there will be no response from Garrison Oak management

    Service was good. The food was good. Sides were a little pricy. Nice lounge-bar area to wait in while you wait on your table. We made reservations and didn't have to wait long. I would go back.

    My husband had the filet minion and it was cooked perfectly. We always love the service and ambiance. We tried the new potato dish with cheese and caramelized onions but it was a little too rich for us.

    The best restaurant in southern Kentucky and Middle Tennessee. The staff is very friendly and the food is EXCELLENT. Izzy is the best server we have ever had!

    My porter house was tough as leather and my wife’s food was bland. The server seemed distracted and not paying attention to our table. My food was delivered without a steak knife and I waited for over 5 minutes for one to be delivered. Our server never came to check on quality of food and the floor manager never did either even when I had to ask her for a steak knife; the floor manager totally avoided us after I had to ask for the knife. They appeared to be under staffed as well. * when were pleasant while there and enjoyed ourselves regardless but for the price it was absolutely not worth it. We will never go back due to this and will share our experience with friends. We hope this beautiful restaurant get their stuff together and right sides the ship..there is absolutely potential for this place.

    The food and service were outstanding! Our only complaint was the ambience. The lights are very bright and there is little to no music. You can hear all of the conversations around you. We would definitely return if that was corrected.

    This is typically one of our favorite places but it was an off night. We were sat right in the front door, even though the rest was almost empty. Service was okay but not no nearly to the normal standard. Food was good and staff was friendly but when paying a premium price you expect a little better service. We had brought a friend for his birthday and it was their first time there so needless to say we were a little disappointed, but we’ll give them another chance. Again, this was not a typical experience.

    It was my wife's birthday and under "special instructions" I told them that. They greeted us saying happy birthday to her, the waitress greeted us that way and then they brought the best dessert to her. Really made her day and the food was just amazing. Will return and thank you to everyone at Garrison Oak for making my wife feel so special. IZZY the waitress rocked and was so sweet. Madison Campbell

    We have been to Garrison Oak on multiple occasions, this time was disappointing. We were seated on time with our reservation and ordered within ten minutes. Then we waited over 40 minutes before deciding to leave due to lack of service. The manager stated the executive chief was slow and behind even though it was not busy. Multiple tables complained to the manager for the same reason. We usually recommend this place to friends and family as the best service and this time was very disappointing especially for place to celebrate my spouse's birthday.

    Our reservation was for 7:30. We arrived on time and were seated within 5 minutes. The food was excellent. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. I'd go back just for the Brussels sprouts. The waitress was attentive. The manager stopped by to check on us and was very nice. We will definitely return.

    Our server was amazing! It was extremely busy that night and he had many tables to take care of. He was attentive, positive and timely. He was our waiter the weekend before as well. His service was the best both times!

    Love Garison Oaks and have dined there quite a few times. The true gem of our visits is having Izzy as our server. She is always friendly, attentive & service focused! Our cocktails were great & we really enjoyed the crab bisque. The negative on this recent visit was the change in menu…… First, we have always ordered oysters as an appetizer and were told that they are no longer available. The oysters are always what we look forward to and enjoy the most. Second, I ordered calamari which was offered as an entree or a side. I assumed (but should have asked) that this was a calamari steak. It was in fact just small fried pieces, like many restaurants serve as an appetizer. It was way too fried and not as expected. Crispy coating was all I could taste. Third, even though this is a steakhouse, not everyone who dines there likes beef, so it would be great if they would offer a few more creative and tasty seafood and poultry dishes. We also ordered the grouper, which was the special that evening and it was excellent. However, it is not on the regular menu and it was pricey for just a piece of seafood with no accompaniments. Finally, although we have had some good side dishes with our entrees at the restaurant, we would prefer that the main course is paired with a vegetable/starch rather than the entire menu being a la carte, even if pricing was higher to include these. We will be back to dine again, but feel like the restaurant is experiencing some “transition” pains.

    Seated promptly at our reservation time. Had an excellent wait staff. QT was the man with the waters and the smile. Keep on being happy brother. Our waitress was, and I'll spell this wrong, Leileahow? Sorry. But she could not have been any better. Perfect offerings, presentations, service and very, very personable. Garrison Oak is blessed to have her. We were too. Food was perfect. Amazing crab bisque. Steak, filet, cooked exactly right, and the bread before, during, and after dinner was very good too. Peach cobbler dessert, while very good, needed more time for the crust to cook properly. My only issue. The Jerk chicken pasta dish was also very good.
