Our wait for food was an hour but was worth the wait
We had a wonderful time. The food and people are great.
What we ate was delicious, I could just imagine what some other things on their menu must taste like and look forward to returning to give it a try. The staff were very courteous and professional.
We will definitely be returning. We had an amazing waitress and she was very helpful.
Took my wife and mother out to dinner for Mother's Day. We ordered a petit ribeye and two 16oz ribeyes. We received the petit ribeye and two Sirloins. The food was good, but not what we ordered. At some point during dinner, a hostess came by to ask about our meal. We mentioned receiving the wrong cuts of meat and she stated that our cuts were in fact ribeyes, then walked away. They were not ribeyes, but it was pointless to ruin the night making a point.
We feel that the hostess could have handled our concerns with a little more interest. Up to this recent experience, we have chosen the Garrison Oak Steakhouse over other restaurants, even though they charge Nashville prices. We have eaten at the Garrison Oak Steakhouse four other times and have had fantastic meals, however, we will likely choose Nashville options moving forward.
Waitress was awesome. Bread was cold. Very few steak options. My steak was overcooked and very fatty. Mac n cheese tasted like it came from a box. Disappointed salad was not a side dish option. Took 1 hour to receive our food for a table of 2 and we had reservations. Food NOT worth the cost. Decor was nice but the tables were odd. Couldn't scoot our chairs close to the table.
Very friendly staff. Nice presentation of food. Not sure why I was asked if we were celebrating something. I noted in our reservation that it was our anniversary.
Would visit again if near
Excellent wait staff and decor. Food is overpriced, but good. The Kentucky Burgoo was particularly satisfying.
As always, Quinton aka QT was A-mazing !!! Izzie was also awesome as usual ! They always make us feel special ! Thanks guys! We love y’all!
The wife and I really enjoy coming here to eat. Everything about the dining experience is awesome and to top it it’s only a 15 minute drive and very little traffic unlike going to Nashville.
Unfortunately our experience was not that great. We were pretty disappointed that we wasted so much money and didn’t have an enjoyable dinner for our anniversary. Ordered the seafood tower. They were out of clams, which was fine, so we substituted it with more oysters. The oysters that came out were rancid and gritty. Even the waiter that came out later to pick up the tray mention that they did not smell good. With as bad as they smelled, they definitely should’ve never left the kitchen. The rest of the seafood was ok so we mentioned we were not looking for money back, we just wanted them know how bad they were so they didn’t serve them to the next person. We did not ask for anything off but they definitely should’ve took money off for the dozen or so oysters we were not able to eat. We also still gave the girl a $24 tip which she really did not deserve. She only came to check on us once after she initially dropped off the food. Our cocktails there were great but we would’ve ordered more if our waitress would’ve just came back to our table. All in all it was not a good experience and I don’t know if I’d go back. If you are looking for a great crafted cocktail, that’s definitely the place to go. I don’t know if I would eat there again and that’s really disappointing since there’s not too many good fine dining restaurants around the area. I would recommend it for a cocktail, but I’d be leery to recommend it for the food.
Quinton (QT) was amazing as always! Izzie is also always awesome ! They both make us feel special every time ! We love them!
Because it was a bit pricey, I was intimidated by the quality of the food before it came out, however we thoroughly enjoyed it, It was delicious on everything that we ordered.... And the service was excellent 5 stars !!!
Very nice and upscale. Our sever and food were wonderful! The only complaint would be the extremely long delay on drink orders from the bar.
How wonderful to be able to enjoy a delicious meal with no long waiting line. Our server Kitty was friendly and helpful. Our food was cooked perfectly and the atmosphere was relaxing, the live band added a special touch to the experience.
The filet and crab cakes was wonderful!!! We will definitely be returning to this restaurant! Also loved the old barrels and the atmosphere.
very good food and very friendly staff only complaint is i had to wait a hour for my food.
Wait for food too long. Quality of food average. Overpriced.
This was the BEST food we have had in a long time !!!! We totally enjoyed it !!! We definitely will return
We had one of the last reservations for Easter Brunch and the eggs, potatoes, and meat were all cold. The desserts were great! I had to ask a manager to send a server to our table after waiting 12-15 minutes after the hostess sat us. I would like to come back but not for a buffet.
Went for Easter Brunch and was very disappointed. Most of the food in the chafing dishes - cold 😒. Wait staff didn’t seem to care.
The service was bad. Had a drink spilled on me by our waitress. She never cleared our plates until leaving. The food was cold. Overall I would recommend.
Amazing, as always! Every time we eat here, the food is only outshone by the friendly service!
Not sure if it was because of the Easter Weekend BUT was a bit disappointed in the menu and entree. My 3rd time dining there and I always raved about the Steakhouse. Maybe just an off night BUT the Easter Brunch Sunday morning was exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed.
Everything was excellent. The food could have been hotter but it was delicious. Kitty our server, she is fabulous!! We really enjoyed her personality and her service was spot on, we will definitely be back and ask for Kitty's section.
The desserts were scrumptious 😋. Beautifully done!!! We really enjoyed our Easter brunch . I would of given five stars all the way but the eggs and bacon were cold.
Excellent menu for brunch! Cost very reasonable—would come back. One comment would be to have food a little hotter on serving line and maybe offer gravy as a choice?
Quinton “QT” and Izzie were amazing as always! Quinton always makes us feel as if we were the only guests he has’ so courteous and professional! Izzie is so good to us! She is awesome ! We love them both!!
Staff was very friendly, and the food was excellent.
Had reservations for 5 and we arrived 15 minutes early. The hostess was able to setup our table within 5 minutes. Walking in, the decor and ambiance were 5 star worthy. Our server was awesome, sorry I forgot her name? Ashlie? Had way too many double vodkas before coming in. The food arrived promptly and was plated beautifully. Everything we ordered was delicious. We especially enjoyed the appetizer meatballs. So moist and flavorful. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the birthday dessert was beautiful. The cost was comparable to a high end steakhouse in Nashville. The only disappointment was that the online menu did not reflect the new menu offerings. If that was updated, I would not have been let down twice by the non-availability of the sea bass or duroc pork belly. Other than that, I highly recommend for a special dress up night out.
It’s very expensive and if I hadn’t had a comp we wouldn’t have been able to afford it for two people. Definitely not a whole family outing dinner choice.
The plus side was the hospitality was amazing and the food was delicious. We will go back for a date night.
The food was prepared to perfection. Just the way I wanted and the service was excellent and I plan on coming back again real soon.
Waitress was very accommodating. Food was excellent.
We had SUCH a great experience thanks to our waitress IZZY and QT! They were both energetic and genuine The Food was alright but the creme brulee was to die for! We will continue to come back and request IZZY
This may be an unfair comparison as we began our dinner early where there was a small number of diners so the noise and the attention to our table was not adversely impacted. The service was great, the food was delivered in a timely fashion and prepared expertly. We will definately use this restaurant for future special occasion dining.
We did not mind the wait, although an hour and a half is a bit much but the steak was mediocre, as were the sides. Staff is always nice and I hope maybe it was just an extra busy night. Will probably give it another try.
I will never eat there again. Bad service and food wasn't good
This was our first and will be our last. The food was mediocre and the servings of the sides that were suppose to be “enough to share” were barely enough for one person. The drinks took a very long time to come out. For the price of the food we expected better service, more food and better tasting.
The food was great the portions were small for the price. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, she explained everything on the menu for us. The atmosphere was great very warm and inviting.
Filet 6 ounce was excellent. Every different type of bread offered was not noteworthy and I am a bread expert. House Salad was average. Dessert was average. It was served cold (Peach Buckle) and it would taste so much better if served warm.
