At home in Toronto's Little Italy neighborhood, Garrison Creek reimagines traditional Italian cuisine in a modern setting. We have curated a colourful menu with the finest and freshest ingredients that bridge both traditional and unexpected Italian dishes to life. Also the craft cocktail list is both creative and approachable, with twists on classics.
Whether seated at the cocktail bar or fine dining areas of the restaurant, you can find yourself in a modern yet approachable atmosphere surrounded by luxe white and black marble finishes, black velvet accents and contemporary art installations.
The origin of the restaurant’s name comes from its location on top of what was Garrison Creek, which flowed through the city entering Lake Ontario just east of Fort York and was the military garrison for the region dating back to when Toronto was young.
We invite you to join us on a culinary experience accompanied by unparalle
Service was very nice & attentive. There are several odd little steps around the restaurant. Bathrooms weren't very convenient - extremely narrow area where the communal trough sink was. Also the kitchen was quite noisy where were sitting. Food was nice, but we found the menu to be a little bit odd in terms of combinations.
Great atmosphere, good service and amazing food. Ended up booking a group birthday dinner and they were happy to accommodate a larger group in there wine room.
Amazing every time we go there!! The food never ceases to amaze me as a vegetarian the options are endless there!! Loved the Pesto sauce!!!
Everything was spectacular! From the owner of the restaurant to the service, for sure coming back and have in fact recommended to a bunch of people!
Time between courses was slow. I was there for Valentine’s Day and it was atrocious. We were running well behind. It was frustrating to see other tables get served before us.
Garrison Creek is one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The valentine's day menu was fixed with limited options. This was not advertised ahead of time. Once we arrived, the waitress informed us of a 2 hour limit that day which we were agreeable to. We only managed to get 2 of the 4 courses in over 2 hours before we were fed up with the long delays and disgusting tasting food. (Who puts strawberry in their risotto...Gross!) We were not alone...a few tables down, a gentleman had to have his steak (course 3) re done 3 times as it was not the right temperature he had requested.
The food was amazing, service impeccable, and the ambiance was beautiful. Love this restaurant. Can’t wait to come back and try other menu items!
Absolutely Delightful from the cocktails to the desert and all in between. A must try: mozzarella spring rolls (simply scrumptious) and truffle ravioli (truffle that was not over powering, yet present) we shall return.
Antipasto was deli meat from grocery store .
About 8 kids running around screaming.
Out of the first 3 beers I ordered.
Computer system was down so I got a hand written receipt .
Food was all bland.
We could not decide what our favourite was. Italian spring roll are a must try, the mussels we’re absolutely perfect and fresh, salami board was the fullest I’ve even seen or had. The restaurant was outstanding.
Garrison Creek was outstanding from start to finish. I also absolutely love the colours and design of this restaurant.👌🏼
Amazing New Years dinner!
This restaurant was so good. Our group has a few dietary restriction and they happily accommodate. Gluten free pasta can be substituted to any menu pasta sauces. I’m a pescatarian and the fish was amazing. We split a desert pizza that was out of this world. Going back for NYE DJ was fantastic.
The food was horrible. Fish was tasteless. The pasta had way too much truffle oil. Dessert selection was only two and not too appetizing. Restaurant should buy pre made desserts if they can’t make it themselves. Only one other table at the restaurant all night. Don’t expect them to be opened for too much longer. Sad it’s a beautiful place but at this quality of food don’t think it will exist too much longer
An unexpected delight. Nice quiet ambience with good food and good service.
Service was excellent! I ordered a pizza with Prosciutto, pear, walnut and grape. Sounded good in theory but it was bland and cold. Perhaps the chefs should remove it from the menu? I would recommend buffalo mozzarella with shavings of prosciutto NOT tiny dry pieces. I must say all the dishes my girlfriends ordered though were delicious so I will come back and try another dish. Please... think about the pear/prosciutto pizza and what can improve...
Honestly the food was outstanding. The service was great. I will be returning regularly. Great restaurant.
Love that you can bring your own wine and just pay a corkage! Old Fashions are off the charts!
A must place to visit. We will be back!!!
The food was wonderful and perfectly prepared. As a large group I was very impressed that everything came at the same time. Plus we had the chef debone our fish table side.
We live quite close to the restaurant and I can not begin to tell you how excited I was for Garrison Creek to open. The food was very good and paired with the fabulous interior it’s a wonderful trendy spot for dinner or drinks we look forward to visiting again and again. 👍🏼
We’ve been looking for a new date night restaurant next door to our apartment for years! Since The Standard closed, we’ve been lacking our “place”. We found it! Food was amazing, atmosphere was gorgeous/relaxing and the staff was beyond helpful and kind. We were blown away and can’t wait to go back. Thank you for our best date night in so long!
Truffle ravioli was outstanding. Loved the pizza, dough was light and crispy, sauce was seasoned well. The desert pizza was crazy good.
The restaurant was recommended for a first date. First impressions were good upon arrival; however, there was no interest in the fact we made a reservation. Table wobbled and there was no concern from staff to correct the issue. There was an urgency to order our food, but completely neglected for delivery of the bill. Staff said they were busy on the other side’s, but the lights were turned off. Lastly, bill was incorrect.
Lovely dinner and great service. We will be returning soon.
Loved everything about this place. The menu has something for everyone and everything we ordered was really good.
Our new pizza spot! They brought our kids over pizza dough to play with to keep them entertained. This was absolutely wonderful. Our kids are very picky eaters and they loved the pizza. My husband had a spicy pizza and enjoy it very much. He actually said he would come back to have it again. I had a mushroom pizza with truffle oil and it was very good.
The service was wonderful, wine was great and the pizza taste like something I pulled out of my freezer. Maybe other items are better.
Tried this place after seeing a bloggers recommendation. Each dish was fantastic. Fig and Prosciutto salad with a whole buffalo mozzarella was perfect. Grilled Pork chop with sauce from heaven was probably one of the best pork chops I’ve had. We saved room for the dessert pizza, they call tiramisu pizza and it was probably the most unique deserts pizza I’ve ever had. It was everything you would think a tiramisu pizza would be and more. A must try!
Truly wonderful experience. Food was very good and service was excellent. Looking forward to my next visit.
It was our 3ed time at Garrison Creek. The food and service is always outstanding. They just added a pizza menu and I would give the pizza a 5* it was very good.
Outstanding, After dinner we moved to the bar and had a fantastic time, it seams like the place to be. The food was incredible and the service was great.
We had a wonderful experience, up scale but very approachable! The two fish dishes were exceptional , the octopus was probably one of the best I’ve had and the whole grilled fish was outstanding. I will be returning very soon.
Great upscale place in Little Italy. Food was sort of bland all around but service was unbelievably good, ambience and vibe were terrific for our family. Feels a bit like CIBO with much much better service.
This was our second time at Garrison Creek and the experience was consistent and excellent. Food and service were both exceptional and we will definitely be returning.
Overall really enjoyed it. It's clear they're still finding their footing, being open only 5 months when we went. Food was really good.
Food and service were amazing. Would definitely be back regularly.
Everything was wonderful, from the service to the food.
Delicious food, great service, decent prices. Can't understand why the place was practically empty on a Friday night.
The calamari was hands down the best I’ve had, the mixologist was awesome. I would come back to this place.
Wonderful restaurant experience, the food was great.
