   When comparing the Gargiulo’s location in Brooklyn to the one in Tinton Falls, NJ, the differences are quite stark. The Tinton Falls outpost lacks the presentation, depth, and authenticity that define true Italian fare. I ordered the cacio e pepe—a classic Roman dish celebrated for its simplicity and balance—which was served over bucatini. Unfortunately, the dish lacked the signature complexity and richness of flavor that make it special. It was also carelessly plated, with the pasta simply slapped onto the plate without any elegance. We also tried a selection of appetizers: fried polenta sticks, stuffed artichoke, and a salad. The polenta was decent, with a nice texture and crispness, but the stuffed artichoke was underwhelming—the breadcrumbs were unevenly packed and fell apart easily, making it messy and unpleasant to eat. The salad was disappointing as well, clearly made with canned beets, which detracted from any sense of freshness or quality. While the Brooklyn location carries a sense of culinary tradition and pride, the Tinton Falls location feels more like an imitation, lacking both the finesse and authenticity that define true Italian dining. Service was good and our waiter, Skylar was attentive. This location also has valet which is convenient.

   Rice balls are out of this world. We love the bar area and the dining room is nice too.

   Our first visit and we were very impressed. Attentive service, great menu selections and an “at home” atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

   My friend David and I ended our Easter by dining at Gargiulo's. The meal was superb! We started with Rice Balls & Spring Burrata —w. marinated asparagus, roasted peppers, proscuitto & lemon-basil dressing. The Rice Balls were the very best I have ever tasted - they were crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside (can you say YUM!) The Spring Burrata was lovely with a light dressing that ever so carefully enhanced the dish, again, YUM. We both ordered the Seafood Risotto entree which consisted of shrimp, scallops, baby octopus & a light tomato broth. It was delicious! The seafood was cooked perfectly (including the baby octopus which was was ever so tender) with an elegant broth that was the final complement to the dish. I believe this is the start of a new tradition.

   Cozy and cute restaurant with great food and service. Went with my wife and it is a coY romantic place. Also went on Easter with my family. This place is a hidden gem.

   We typically love this restaurant- especially on special occasions. Unfortunately, this missed the mark by far for Easter. The $40 per person brunch buffet was extremely limited and poor quality. The “salad” was lettuce with shredded cheese and a squeeze bottle of dressing. Very small display and variety was lacking. No real desserts offered. Seemed like they put the least amount of effort and energy into the offering. Service was friendly but very slow especially considering it was a buffet. I am glad this was not our first time or we would not be back.

   Hello Jacqueline Sorry you were so dissappointed, It was our first time trying Brunch and I agree that there were something that needed to be addressed, The fact that you have been here six times, I feel that you would understand how much we put into making sure that customers are happy.     Gargiulos has a warm, friendly atmosphere. The decor reminds of a classic small European restaurant. The staff is friendly in a meaningful way. they clearly appreciate your presence. Of course the food is exceptional. highly recommend Gargiulos
