This is not my first time to Garduno’s. I certainly will return again often. This visit was because I had out-of-town guests, and I wanted to show them a lovely Albuquerque evening. We had excellent service. The food was outstanding. We all particularly enjoyed the guitarist and singer, the margaritas were excellent. The price is reasonable.

I am a NM native who lives out of state and was visiting for the weekend, I would come back just for the pork green chile posole! No joke one of the best I have ever had, mouth is still watering! Server was very kind and even offered me a sample prior to ordering the posole. Hotel ABQ doesn’t let down!

I have lived in Albuquerque for two years, and last night was the first time I have dined at Gardunos. It is located in the beautiful Albuquerque hotel. It was easy to make an online reservation. I dined alone. The ambience and decor is excellent. I was fortunate to be seated at a table close to the musician who played guitar and sang. I loved his music, and it added to my enjoyment of the evening. I had to combination plate of a tamale with the shredded beef taco. The green chili sauce over the tamale was delicious. The taco had generous amount of beef. The side of Mexican rice and puréed beans was perfect. I had excellent service from a friendly wait staff. He was attentive, but not smothering. This is a very welcome part of the Albuquerque restaurant scene. I highly recommend it. Finally, in my opinion, the prices are excellent.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. Our server, David, was exceptional. He was gracious and made us feel welcome. The food was delicious. We ordered two different versions of margaritas. We enjoyed both of them, especially the one with the coconut flakes on top. We are on vacation so it’s hard coming back, but we do recommend this place to others.

Everything we had was tasty! Margs included. I had the carne asada tacos and my wife had the green chili cheeseburger. Both were super tasty and generous in size. Prices, I felt were reasonable.

On this particular night the restaurant was obviously under staffed. As everything took 10-15 minutes or more from being seated to getting waters and drinks our meal and check. Menu listings were confusing and charges on check were different?! Very courteous staff though! Unfortunately will not return

Unfortunate the outdoors patio was closed owing to whether. Still, the indoors experience was good. Service was excellent, liked our drinks, the Chili, salad, enchiladas and more. Decor is very nice (ceiling is cool). And they had live entertainment. Lots of free parking in front.

The service was great but the restaurant was dirty. The drinks arrived quickly and weren't very strong. The food took a very long time and only 1 of our 3 dinners was satisfactory. Pricey for an old, dirty poor meal. Do not recommend.

We used open table to make a reservation but the restaurant was not even open at the time of the reservation. The little fat waitress at the podium was rude when, not just myself, but others who also made reservations where shocked to find out they were closed. The option for 2pm was on the list all the way to even 730pm.

My party arrived at 2 PM with a reservation. It was a birthday luncheon. The manager of the restaurant told us that she was closing at 2 PM and she could not see this. You guys need to get your act together I will never eat there or use this service again

Unfortunately this Garduños location is very under staffed. We were greeted seated, and our drink order was taken. After that our server never came back, we waited patiently since we noticed they were understaffed. We asked a young man to send our server over. Our server came out and instead of coming to check on us she went to the older couple next to us and apologized for the wait…. we waited a long time sitting there to have our food order taken. Finally after 1.5 hours we decided to to leave.

The restaurant itself was very nice. Staff was very friendly, and we enjoyed the music. The food was not at all warm when it was delivered to our table. Friend’s recommended Garduno’s because they have eaten in the other location and said the food was excellent. That was not our experience at all. Chicken tacos were very dry, Chilerelleno’s were tough and cold. The restaurant was not busy in a Friday night!

Garduno's was a Albuquerque institution when I lived in the area years ago. I was glad to see that they are still around after some problems in the past. Still have some of their unique staples. And their margaritas are still tops. I had a great evening.
