   No AC on a 90 degree day was tough to take. The food at our brunch was fairly average despite enjoying the lovely decor and good cocktails.

   Nice decor and friendly, if slightly inattentive, service. The food was good, but the paella was a bit dry despite great taste. Overall worth the trip, but not exceptional.

   The food was good and there was a happy hour which was nice but it was pretty empty and it didn’t have a great ambiance.

   Came here with my two best friends visiting from out of town and my fiance. We got a bottle of champagne for the table for ~$50 which was a great option. However, the food was not memorable. We got the octopus and potatoes for one app, and it was exactly that, cut up pieces of grilled octopus and cooked potato cubes. It wasn't bad, just not great. I can't even remember anything else, but we all felt the same way - normal food and portions, but nothing to go out of your way for. The decor inside, I loved! Very fresh and light with greenery. Beautiful bar too!

   Loved the lamb chops and gardenia salad, and my friend had good words for the moist grilled salmon, but the noise level ruined our enjoyment of the food and the beautiful interior of the place. We thought that by eating early -- our reservation was for 6:30 pm -- we would avoid the noisiest time. That probably would have worked, but unluckily for us, a birthday party for 10 of the loudest young women I have ever heard commenced at the next table shortly after we arrived. We had to shout at the top of our lungs to hear each other. I would like to try again when it's quiet, but how is one to know when a birthday party will show up?

   We loved Gardenia - have wanted to go for a long time and finally took advantage of an offer from Blackboard Eats. Definitely will go back there with no discount, as they are reasonably priced, have an interesting menu, the food and service were very good, the space attractive, the ambiance friendly. The tables are well spaced so one can converse and not feel crowded or bothered by loud music. Highly recommend.

    Food was good, presentation was great. Portions were small (fish tacos). And some items were very over priced
