   Food took 2 hours with only one other party at the entire restaurant, waiter said it was busy? Extremely expensive for mid quality food, very clearly just unnecessarily overpriced for their staffing efforts. Beautiful venue though, and the drinks were good.

   Wonderful dinner! Cannot recommend Garden enough! They have just been open for a month but you can tell they make their food with care and love and the service is unbeatable. We were not in a rush whatsoever and our server Santiago was great. Manuel was also fantastic. We were checked on multiple times throughout the night and the food was just great. I got the lamb chops and my husband got the filet. Both were just wonderful cuts of meat that we thoroughly enjoyed.

   If you are looking for a good steakhouse in San Jose del Cabo, this is it. I had rack of lamb and a cesar salad. My wife and her sister had a ribeye and filet mignon respectively. The food was exceptional (tender and juicy) and cooked to perfection. Santiago and Johnathan took great care of us. We also enjoyed the outdoor garden setting where we dined. This place is my new go to place for steak in San Jose del Cabo. It rivals anything you will find back home.

   We typically go to Seared at Palmilla for steak. This trip we came here as a recommendation. Needless to say, we will not be going back to Seared. The steak here is AMAZING. The filet was cooked perfectly both times (we’ve already been here twice in three days…) - for reference I eat my steak medium rare. The crabcakes to start are delicious. As is the clam chowder. The sides creamed spinach and asparagus are absolutely delicious. The ambience here in their beautifully lit garden with live music (one night the mariachi band did an incredible rendition of Hotel California and Black Magic Woman from Santana. Incredible. Tonight is a guitarist/singer playing acoustic who is wonderful and the perfect amount of background music with a great combination of English and Spanish songs that you easily know. Overall just the perfect dining experience!!

   Ambiance is Beautiful. The staff are great, the only draw back was all the flies when are dinner was served

   We had a party of six. Seating is outside in a garden type setting, which was very charming. Food was just okay, nothing special. The waiter wasn’t as friendly as other places we frequented. And the vodka martinis where sparse as in a half a glass. We had been here a couple years ago and it had seemed much better. The name has changed from Tamarindo’s to Tequila, If I had known it was the same place I probably would not have made reservations here as there’s lots more restaurants we haven’t visited here.

   Tequila is a hidden gem in San Jose. The ambiance was perfect, our host, Jose, was amazing and we were serenaded by acoustic guitarist, Samuel. The food after 1 week in Cabo was the very best we’ve ever had. Mesquite grilled surf and turf and the catch of the day following octopus cooked perfectly. Hummingbirds, mourning doves and a setting that is picturesque!

   It’s been years since dining at this restaurant. Still wonderful and I hope not wait so long between visits. Highly recommend.

    The ambience was lovely, the food was decent but not amazing. Service was decent but also not fantastic, we were never asked to replenish drinks, fill water etc. for the $$$ this is expected. We had also mentioned we were celebrating a bday at time of booking, there was no acknowledgement of it. As a long time visitor to SJD (since late 90’s been 50+ times) we enjoy experiencing different establishments, from street tacos to high end. I’m glad we went once.
