Set within a 17th-century coaching inn in the heart of Farnham, The Bush offers a stylish, laid-back dining experience rooted in British seasonality and served with a side of charm. Whether you’re joining us for a long, lazy brunch or cocktails by the fire, our menus are made for lingering over.

The Garden Restaurant – a light-filled Georgian morning room with contemporary flair – sets the scene for breakfast, afternoon tea, or dinner with friends. For something more casual, settle into the Oak Lounge, where original panelling, open fires, and soft lighting create the perfect backdrop for small plates, sharers, or a classic roast.

On warmer days, our terrace and garden offer an alfresco escape just moments from Farnham’s historic high street.

Join us for a traditional Bush Afternoon Tea served within the hotel or outside on the terrace during the summer months. Our Afternoon Tea menu includes an assortment of homemade sandwiches, a selection of cakes supplied and made by our sister company, Petite Patisserie. Guests will also enjoy freshly baked scones with cream and jam along with a selection of teas, infusions, or coffee. Afternoon tea will be served Wednesday – Sunday. Please notify us on booking if you have any special dietary requirements.

Excellent service and ambience, the food was very nice even if the portions are a little bit on the small side. We were there for Easter celebration, and the children got an Easter egg to take home.

A really delicious afternoon tea. We were able to sit in the sunshine in the garden and whilst it was busy, the service was the right amount of chilled but not too slow. The food itself was delicious and the cakes were fantastic. Highly recommend.

The restaurant is a local gem and such a wonderful setting and location. The food choices were excellent and catered for people with all tastes. But, to top it all the staff were incredible especially Shivy, as she could not be more attentive. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

We were well looked after by the staff although not much in the way of an atmosphere. We ordered from the festive menu and everything just tasted of salt. All in all meh….. probably wouldn’t go back which is a shame because it’s nicely decorated.

We arrived for a family Sunday lunch. There were 7 of us and we arrived slightly early but this was no trouble and we were seated a few minutes early. Service was good - and the Sunday roasts were great with plenty of vegetables and giant Yorkshire Puddings. Very very good.

We enjoyed an excellent meal at The Bush Hotel Farnham. I have several food allergies and the chef was able to accommodate them - thank you! The food was fresh and delicious. Service was outstanding. The restaurant is charming!

Overall rating of 4 out of 5 stars (very good) and I would recommend going here. The best aspects of the restaurant are the ambience (lovely view from the window of the restaurant and the greenery inside the restaurant), the service and the noise level. I have only dropped a star for the quality of food, as well as the value for money. I would still say that the quality of the food is very good (hence 4 stars) but not outstanding. I would go here again.

The room and venue is beautiful and overall the food was very good as was the waitress we had. There was a wedding on and the guests were all in reception and at the bottom of the stairs all shouting and screaming - the noise levels were very bad. They should have shut the door to the restaurant. We ordered cocktails - they were beyond bland we sent them back. Getting a refund was challenging. So some good points but some very poor that they could easily change if they cared enough.
