The food was out of this world!! We had oysters, lobster bisque, NY strip, meatballs, shrimp, and fish of the day. Every bite was delicious. The restaurant is so beautiful. It’s a hidden gem for sure!!

I booked a reservation for our 7th years anniversary. Upon arrived, we were seated right away and the server gave offer us some champagne to celebrate the day. Mushroom risotto app was delicious. My mahi mahi was great but my boyfriend short ribs was ok, should have stick with a steak. The place was beautiful and we have love music. I would definitely come back and try other dishes. Thank you!

This is our second time at Gannon’s while visiting Nashville. The food is amazing, the chef comes out and talks to you and tells you about his history. The ambience is amazing and the service is always excellent. Another fine in the city of Nashville.

First class restaurant from start to finish. The staff was top notch. The vibes and ambiance were fantastic. Great date night spot. Some of the best food my wife and I have ever had. If you don’t get the Eggplant Olivia as an appetizer you are truly missing out.

Found a new go-to spot in Nashville. Gannon’s was fantastic! Nice charcuterie board and lobster bisque to start. I then had prime rib (I was unprepared for the very large portion!) which was good. My friends loved their lamb and steak. The decor and entertainment were both spectacular. The jazz band really complemented the evening. Building is an old bank which has been renovated cleverly using original flooring, panels, fixtures, ceiling, etc… But the highlight was our server, Alex. Fun, personable, quick witted, and attentive, so we never lacked for anything and stayed entertained. Though we may have been a bit entertaining ourselves. Ask for Alex if you go! The host was delightful as well, but I can’t remember his name. I’ll definitely be back.

I have now been to Gannon’s a handful of times and every time I go the food, drinks, and service are fantastic. Chef Gannon’s food is so good. The cocktails are fantastic and the service is top notch. However, as good as all of those things are it’s the hospitality that owners David and Gannon provide. I haven’t felt so special at a restaurant for a very long time. Last night I celebrated my birthday with my wife and 4 year old son. They took us on a full tour (including the kitchen) and made my son and wife feel as special as they have made me feel.

Gannon’s restaurant is in the Marriott Hotel in Nashville. It is an old bank building and the dining room is cavernous. The place is very clean and well attended. The food was grand, I had lobster bisque and a bone in ribeye. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked to medium rare as ordered . My wife and I split the dinner and a wedge salad. We had chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was very good!! Highly recommend this space.

My husband and I went for our 1st anniversary, and we were so happy we did. The atmosphere was elegant and charming. The food was amazing. The service was great! The piano player was just the cherry on top. Highly recommend for a special evening.

The food was amazing, the drinks well made and the service outstanding. Our server, Mark, was right where he needed to be when needed but not hovering. The peach glazed pork chop was simply delicious, moist and plentiful and the prime rib covered the entire plate, the seasoning the best we've tasted and we used a fork to cut it. A wonderful atmosphere with jazz in a classic 1920's vibe. Well worth it.

The Oysters Rockefeller were tasty. My husband had Med Rare prime rib and it was not very tender. Overall for the price of the restaurant I expected a lot more. The squash/zucchini side dish was not good. The service was very slow and they were not busy so I didn’t really understand the delay.

The food was excellent. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived for an early dinner, yet we were seated very close to a very loud piano, making it difficult to hear. I ordered a margarita, which was mediocre at best. Tasted more like limeade than margarita. I swapped for a martini which was excellent. My sister order the strip steak, which she very much enjoyed, and I ordered the peach glazed pork chop, which was out of this world. We both agreed the pork chop was the winning dish. Prices are very reasonable for the food and ambience, I would recommend this restaurant.

Perfect experience. Food, drinks, energy, decor, beautiful restoration of the building with gorgeous woodwork details. The staff always so welcoming and friendly. Out of town guests were blown away by the quality and the great prices. Live music yet we were able to hear each other talk. Will go back again and again! Also great for larger groups.
