    First time at Gandy Dancer. Very crowded during graduation. Got sat 20 minutes later, even with a reservation. Drinks were good, but food took a while. We ordered appetizers, prime rib, sea bass, shrimp, crab cakes, scallops and desserts. Food was tasty but small in quantity. Scallops were tiny and lobster bique was luke warm. Key lime pie was good but small. We love the delicious carrot cake. Best we ever tasted. At end, we paid over $600 for meal. Didn't mentioned it was a Landrys participant as we have credits and rewards to use. Overall experience was good for a graduation dinner. Probably only go for special occasions and not on a regular basis.

    Had gone there once before and had a great experience, but this time during graduation week, we’re relegated to a tent with rain dripping on us, not the Gandy dancer experience we expected, but still the Gandy dancer prices. I’d avoid on busy weekends

    WE made a idea for Graduation A photo op with the Gandy Dancer in the background even provide a person do it so ALL can be in the photo .....ARE SERVER WASOVER THE TOP "GOOD:

    Restaurant has been around for ages so some must really enjoy it. Beautiful place but the food was just average. Snapper and shrimp were over-cooked and mahi was bland, the desserts are made in house but were both very dry, not worth eating. This was graduation week so maybe it was the exception but I doubt I will go back. Valet staff was excellent, very polite and really hustled.

    My partner and I came to celebrate both of our college graduations! The service was incredible, the drinks perfect, and sitting by the train tracks was such a cool experience!

    I’m holding the 5th star for something truly special. We (family of 4) had a great meal and enjoyed excellent service from Alex. Nice to go somewhere with table cloths!

    Wonderful meal and great service, from the valet to hostess to wait staff. Probably the best meal we've had in 2025! On the higher end of pricing but a small complaint for the quality of food. Sadly, my hearing is bad and despite the early reservation the noise level was higher than expected or in the past. Our octarian celebrating his 85 said he has yet to have a bad meal there! He rarely gets out and thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
