    I was so pleased with my choice after looking at many recommendations for the Ann Arbor area. The venue is historic and interesting - especially if you get a table with the train line view. The servers were outstanding. Loved the gazpacho - don't see that a lot of places. The Caesar salad was quite good. And the sole with crabmeat was really delicious. Plus fresh garlic dinner rolls and crackers with salmon spread and butter to start? I wish I lived in Michigan.

    Maybe there were having a tough day. Service was extremely slow for us and all the tables around us. We spent at least an hour longer at the restaurant than we hoped to. Food was mixed. I had crab cake benedict and it was good. My son had the prime rib hash which was just okay. My wife had the halibut which was small and overcooked to the point of crispy.

    My wife and I spent our 15th Anniversary dinner at the Gandy Dancer. This was our first time there. Everything from ease of reservations to valet to service was absolutely perfect. Food was breath taking. It made our special day even more special. Thank you to everybody involved.
