The food was fine even though the menu was pretty limited. Butternut squash soup was very nice as was the paella. Problem is that it sounded like it was closing and re-formatting.

The restaurant was very cold. We had to move away from the window, but it was still cold. The food was very good. I enjoyed several small plates. However, I thought it was very expensive for what it was.

Our server was informative and didn't mind going up and down stairs for what we needed.
Everyone enjoyed their meal especially the "tortilla Espanola".
Salads were delish as well as the key lime pie.
Lovely upstairs, but maybe not for all.

Hard to believe there is a tapas restaurant in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. First visit, but not the last. A group of us shared a number of tapas, a flatbread pizza and a couple of desserts. Everything was superb-so flavorful. We had mostly vegetarian items (mushrooms, chickpeas, artichokes) and also the shrimp. Delicious! We will be back for more and to try the paella!

My wife and visited for the first time on Friday evening. We had salad, seafood paella and a couple of beers. All were satisfying, and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Especially enjoyed this after a king work week!

The server provided great recommendations and service.

We were very happy with the overall experience!

We were dissapointed when Casa Rojas first opened having been fans of the West End Bistro. However, they have continually improved since opening and our last meal this weekend was excellent. We sampled several tapas dishes that were all carefully prepared and flavored. While the upstairs seating can feel a bit crowded, we really enjoyed sitting in the bar area which was quiet and intimate. Service was informal but attentive.

Believe me, this restaurant is more of a coffee shop, my wife and I wanted to book either Jeckel, or Game Keepers, but between them is casa Rojas it's listed as competition, it's NOT but the food was acceptable if it was in the $20.00 range instead it was nearly double. No one else was in the restaurant except my wife and I, I now know why.

We ate in the bar on a weeknight; place was empty so we had attentive service from the bar tender. We selected a bottle of Argentine wine which was very good but that's where the pluses ended. I wanted to try some of the tapas but nothing sounded appealing which is unusual for a tapas menu. My date and I decided to order the seafood paella for two. Seriously, it was nowhere enough to feed two people. It was mostly rice, 3 shrimp, 3 or 4 microscopic mussels, and some calamari which I'm guessing was frozen, and a really unappetizing smell. Not interested in returning.

We tried various items on the menu and only one item was eatable. Everything is precooked and warmed up. Some food was burned even from second trail. Vegetable stew consisted of large bowl of canned beans in gooey sauce. No other vegetables listed on the menu was present. Staff is very strange and not trained at all. 'Potato Bravo' menu item over-dried and overturned precooked potatoes, have nothing in common with what people serve in Spain. I would be terribly ashamed to serve something like that to my guests and charge top dollars for it. Will never go back again. Was waste of time and money and we left completely hungry.

The food is very good, but be forewarned that serving sizes are on the small side. It is, after all, a tapas restaurant! But truly, what really stood out was the service. Not only was Erin prompt and thorough, but she was also very fun. Thank you for the laughs and wonderful dining experience!

This place features tapas. We were very glad to see stated on the menu that items would be paced and not brought out all at once. Well that didn't not happen. Everything came at the same time. Our little table was packed with plates. We had to ask for the empty plates to be removed. Even when a second drink was ordered the empty glass was not taken away. Some items were very good and some were just bad (i wouldn't order the fried potatoes again). The chicken artichoke flatbread was our favorite. We really like the comfy quiet space downstairs. Very quiet and comfortable. Upstairs sounds very loud. Menu was much better before the name change.

Menu is a nice change from the chain restaurants who all offer the same thing. Staff is very friendly and efficient .they offer three soups and not only are they delicious but each is beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the chicken flatbread pizza.

We visited Casa Roja for years when it was the previous restaurant and with the exception of the menu-which we Loved-not much else has changed including the lacking service from a waitress that has somehow been there for years.

Outstanding tapas restaurant. Perfect for "grazing" over a glass of wine. Friendly service. Bar the best place to sit. Absolutely recommend.

We went with 2 kids (6 and 12). the Service was super friendly and the atmosphere is great. we had tapas and paella, all very good. Next time would go all tapas... so many choices! Did think it was a bit pricey for what we got, but will go back for certain!

Extensive menu. Tasty dishes. The problem here is that there just wasn't enough unless you had at least 3 small plates (@ $9-12 each). The paella - at $26-was billed as enough for two. Hardly. $26 for three shrimp and 3 mussels and some rice.

Not going back.

I was at Casa Roja when it was still West End Bistro which was great, but the new menu and dishes just step everything up a notch. Hats off to the chef and his crew.

We started with three tapas; calamares flashed fried without breaking, served in a olive oil sauce with mild red peppers was absolutely outstanding, shrimp in a lime sauce was very fresh tasting, and stuffed artichoke hearts that we will pass on next time. No big deal. The seafood paella was shared and enjoyed by two. It comes with saffron rice, more like risotto, which was wonderful. Cannot wait to go back.

Your choice of tapas or a more standard fare makes this restaurant fun for all. Ample outdoor dining provides wonderful summertime options on the back patio or near the walking street in front.

Was looking forward to trying this new spot, given its makeover from West End Bistro. Was fully disappointed. Waited 15 minutes for a server to come over after being seated. Slow service continued all night, with servers just walking past tables that needed attention all night. Not sure what the deal was but it seemed like a combination of poor serving experience and poor management. Food was good, but not all that interesting. Outside patio was very nice. Probably will not return any time soon.

We enjoyed the ambiance of sitting on a beautiful evening on the patio. The menu had lots tapas which were good quality but portions were small. Our salads were decent with avocados ,shredded lettuce, and broccoli. The Mediterranean Flat Bread was excellent. I thought for what you received and the total bill of the meal was high. I am willing though to give it another try since the quality is high standard.

Food tasted good but the flavors of Spain were not there. The flavors were American, the menu items were american. Go during Happy Hour if you can and be aware, the entrees are not much bigger than the tapas but at double the price. I loved the patio.

Casa Roja was just excellent. We shared 6 different small plates and they all were outstanding. The chef and the bar tender are excellent. In fact, all the staff are just super. Casa Roja is a Spanish Tapas Bar and it offers folks in the Chagrin Valley area something that is really new and different, and again, the food is just delicious.

Those who live around Chagrin Falls are very familiar with the West End Bistro. The WEB closed briefly after Blossom time and has been reborn as Casa Roja. Redone inside with a Spanish theme, Casa Roja features tapas, small plates, and paella. Done with a new menu from Chef Alex, there is something for everyone. I especially liked the confit chicken wings, Paloma salad and ham wrapped dates. There is a great patio and the staff seems eager to make the new theme work. I'll be back.
