    Let me start by saying what was good. The drinks were fantastic - the strawberry mojito was delectable. The clams and the sauce was amazing. The service was good. However, before the pandemic, I was a regular at this restaurant because the food was great. Then during the pandemic, the food went down and was horrible. I stopped going. I decided to give it a new try, years later and unfortunately, the food was still not great. They over cooked my shrimp and when I ordered a piece of apple pie, it tasted like a bad piece of cardboard. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this restaurant.

    Customer at the bar was inappropriate. He was very loud, cursing and talking bad about the USA. Made our overall experience very uncomfortable.

    I made a mistake and never confirmed my reservation for 12 people on Mother’s Day. Galo Tavern 18 was incredibly busy but, amazingly, they still found a table for us. The service, food, drinks were amazing. Thank you for saving the day!

    Food was fantastic, it was a little loud and the server was a little confused. But it was mothers day so she did pretty good. Just didnt really know the menu. Maybe she was new. But i really loved it, so worth it. I would come back.

    food was ok, but the jacked up price for mother’s day was not warranted. we were 5 seated at a table meant for 4 which meant we were crowded. we asked to be moved to a bigger but was told that table was requested specifically by another party, could have offered another table but was not. to top it off, the waiter kept reaching over everytime service was made, not sure if it’s due to how tables were placed closely together to accommodate more for mother’s day or if he didn’t feel like walking to the other side to properly serve.
