Oysters, shrimp, crawfish and crab served with Louisiana Jazzman rice
Crawfish and Seafood Cake Pasta Monica
Wild-caught Louisiana crawfish tails sautéed with Creole seasonings & white wine in a light cream sauce over fresh fettuccine with toasted cheese bread
Absolutely one of the best meals and service n NOLA. Service was unbelievable.
Was greeted with a warm welcome by hostess and server but that is the extent. The service was significantly poor due to length of time from placing drink order( which the bartender got wrong) and food orders to receiving the meal. When we did receive the food after an hour plus wait it was cold. The restaurant was not crowded so unsure as to why the wait was so long.
Food was good and service was great, another good place to eat
We loved our meal and the atmosphere. Tessa was amazing - so knowledgeable and helpful. The bread pudding was the best part of our dinner!
Amazing Experience!! Made my birthday very special.
Food was good. Cool dude Joshua served us well. Drinks are stellar 👍
Loved the space, Katie was on her game. We each tried some local food options. Very good!
They changed the recipe to the charbroiled oysters and they were awful. They used to be the best in the city. These were barely broiled and completely lacked flavor. The service was not great, extremely slow, although the server was new. But drinks were forgotten, orders not put in, etc. The other food was ok, not bad, but not memorable enough to return, and not for that price point. Drinks were good, would recommend the cocktails. Overall, disappointed.
Food was incredible and the service was amazing! Can’t wait to visit again!
We really enjoyed our evening! We ordered the alligator appetizer, the 10 oz filet, and the seafood platter and all were delicious! Our drinks were perfect and the bread pudding/chocolate cake desserts were amazing! They even brought out a complimentary arancini that was seafood stuffed and should be on their menu because it was that good. Service was great as well!!! My 4 year old loved the red beans and rice that was on their sides menu ❤️
COVID service issues affect every restaurant now so service was not rated the highest but all were pleasant and tried to be helpful. The menu has changed - it appeared that the restaurant was going in a new direction, which was unfortunate. The oysters bienville and rockefeller were disappointing - mushy and tasteless. Served with bread that was so stale - even the mushy sauce did not soften it. Our go to gumbo there was disappointing as well. Such a shame - loved this place and hope it will do well - but it won’t with this food.
We celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary here. The food was fantastic.
Fantastic food and service. We had a great time. MonaLisa was very helpful serving us too!
The waiter was very slow to fill water and the place only had 7 tables - the bbq shrimp were poorly cooked - the bread was stale - and the char-grilled oysters were in odd skillets and soupy
The food was very good, in particular the crab cakes. The staff was very friendly. We were glad that we had reservations. We will definitely go back there. The crowd was part from the neighborhood and part from the hotels.
Had a great experience. Our server MonaLisa was super attentive and helpful. Food was super delicious! Would definitely come back.
A bit pricey, but totally worth it! My friend and I accidentally found this place and thought the food looked really good online, so we made a reservation via Open Table. We got in, but for a Tuesday night, they were bumping!
Food: We shared everything, and that was plenty for two people. We ordered the gumbo, BBQ shrimp, oysters bienville as appetizers. Absolutely phenomenal. There was also the bread that melted in your mouth and a chef’s special that I have no idea what it was. It was ball shaped, included pork and seafood and and came with three different sauces. Petite, cute and delicious. Definite kuddos to the chefs! For dinner we shared the shrimp and crawfish pasta, which was pretty good, and asparagus, which was the only thing we didn’t like. Our waiter, Stewart, convinced us to try the bread pudding with white sauce and glazed walnuts for dessert and man, oh man, we were glad we listened to him. Save a little room for dessert, because the bread pudding was great (and I’m not even a fan of bread pudding normally).
Drinks: My friend got a rose wine and definitely enjoyed it. It wasn’t too sweet and it’s color was fabulous and clear. I personally had the smoked old fashion which was #worthit. If you’re any type of fan of old fashions or are looking to venture out for something new, give their house one a try! From presentation to flavor profile, it was exquisite!
TLDR: a bit pricey, but fine dining at its best. Oh, and the staff are very personable and have great social skills!
Smoked Old Fashioned is a must for all Bourbon lovers. Food was outstanding, I love the gumbo & the gator Creole. Raw oysters were good sized, nice texture. The crab cake seafood pasta is a large dish so don’t fill up too much on appetizers unless you like take home bags (which I do). Only downside was that our waitress was a little disorganized & slow, but it was obvious that she is new. She tried really hard & seemed to care about her customers, so I won’t count off for that. With her good attitude I’m sure she’ll improve with time.
Good Service and agreeable to change up on some things
great food and cocktails
only complaint desert was subpar
would go again
Food was good. New service team is working out the kinks of reopening in a new format
Hands down the worst restaurant I have experienced in New Orleans for the same price as the well known spots. Not sure if this is normal but 6 people ordering different things from different families has the same opinion. Almost as if the chef was off that night and the restaurant staff were given the hat and apron for the night at $35 a plate.
Excellent food and service. Mona Lisa was our server and she is awesome. Best gumbo I have had. Will be back
The food was decent but not on par with better New Orleans restaurants. Galliano seems more geared to out-of-town visitors looking for semi-authentic cajun/creole fare. Prices reflected that attitude as well. The drinks were good, though.
Another issue we had was the music selection for the first half hour was very strange (and loud) for that restaurant. It was all pop (including Blackbear's "Hot Girl Bummer" which isn't the most family-friendly song despite having multiple families dining there). It then all of a sudden switched to New Orleans r&b stuff which was more appropriate. It was almost as if someone wasn't paying attention or maybe someone complained.
Overall a disappointing experience. We ordered the pork chop and the fish of the day
Larry is the best!!! Great food…. Best charbroiled oysters I ever had!!!
Redfish was inedible., we saw others returning the same dish. Returned it for grilled oysters and was served a tray of oysters smothered in breadcrumbs after it was already stated there was a gluten allergy. Steak was requested medium but served on a hot stone as a plate. By the time you get midway through the steak it is now over cooked. The hot stone was unnecessary. We left with only one person in the party of 2 actually eating a meal. We were here a year ago and the food was great, not sure if they got a new chef. Food was terrible and not worth the cost. We came from out of town and we will never go back.
An excellent introduction to the regional cuisines! We really enjoyed the gumbo and the oysters. The staff were friendly and efficient.
We had fabulous service with Mona Lisa! It was a nice anniversary dinner. The only thing I would improve is noise/music level. It was hard to have a conversation. But, we had a great time.
Very good food! Great service! Oysters Bienville appetizer was a home run! The Louisiana seafood platter with BBQ shrimp, crawfish, flounder and fried oysters was a notch above the local norms!
The food, service and ambiance were great!
Hadn’t heard of it before- was afraid it would be too touristy. Wow we were wrong, great food and experience - will be back
Hospitality was above and beyond! Cocktails hand crafted and outstanding! Food was exquisite and service was excellent! Look forward to going back soon!!!
Execelente lugar, las ostras a otro nivel y buen vino!
We wanted so long for Food and was finally brought something to compensate our hunger. The hostess was very nice , the food could of been better
The food was not great but the drinks and service were great.
It was my friends and I first time coming here. From the menu and reviews it seemed as a pretty decent place. We sat at the bar until our table was ready. My friend wanted to order an appetizer at the bar and the bartender did explain that they would rather us order at our table, but since ceviche doesn’t take long he would put it in for her. Well he never did. Next, we get to our table and it takes forever for our server to come. Thankfully we had already had drinks from the bar. He finally comes to the table, and I’m more than 99.9999% sure he was drunk on his shift. As he spoke to us, I could smell alcohol on him. Again, we said whatever. He wasn’t very attentive at all, and overall just acted as if something was wrong(because I’m sure he was drunk). Being that he wasn’t making things better, we asked for a manager which typically we try to avoid. He was very understanding and even still brought the ceviche to the table after at this point we didn’t want it. Unfortunately, there was a power outage so we weren’t about to get our food. So as far as a food review I don’t have one. As first time customers though, I will say as far as service we weren’t pleased. Which sucks, because we have worked in the service industry. It seemed like a pretty cool place. Just from the service we probably won’t be visiting again. At least the drinks were good. I guess that’s one good thing.
I come to NOLA often to visit my daughter and thought I’d had my all time favorite meals but this is my new favorite! I never return to the same restaurant twice in this town but I’m already planning my next meal here next month!
The seafood platter is just amazing- every bite in the plate was perfect. The chargrilled oysters were huge and juicy and the best we’ve had. (And we’ve been to the places “famous” for them)
My daughter had the crawfish Monica pasta and loved it-
The complimentary seafood arancini is a delightful surprise!
And the cocktails!!!! Oh my gosh so good!!!!
The atmosphere is just lovely and our waiter, Neil, was splendid! We really enjoyed him- he and Nala added to our night.
This is a great place and if you want to try New Orleans Cajun, you should go here.
The pork chop is excellent my only complaint is the red beans that came with it were under done. Maybe they want it not as soft as I prefer so this may be just a personal preference. The sauce was strong on the hot sauce so I know many will love it. I like the flavor but not as pronounced as they make it. The dozen chargrilled oysters were large and juicy.
Service was excellent and I would go back. Prices are I think very fair considering the portion sizes are very good. The best bite of the night was the amuse bouche. Outstanding. If that was on the menu I'd order it all the time.

Yes, you can generally book this restaurant by choosing the date, time and party size on OpenTable. Due to local restrictions, this restaurant may not be accepting reservations at the moment.
