Great brunch

Not bad but not great! They were preparing for larger event later in evening. I still love this restaurant however and will be back.

Our food was mediocre. My breakfast was slight cool. Service was no better. Not bad, but I had higher expectations.

Great food and service!

We ordered the chia pudding, omelet and eggs, bacon and potatoes. The pudding was not what I expected but interesting and tasty. The bread basket with fresh jams was a nice touch and delicious. We also enjoyed what we ordered, but could have done without the fried/ crispy potato steaks. Over all it was a great dining experience and the service and atmosphere were great.

Amazing food, elegant atmosphere and great staff. I enjoyed a get away weekend in Charlotte and was able to enjoy The Gallery for dinner and their brunch menu...Tasty! Victoria was our server and her level of service and care was impeccable. We will dine here again. Recommend: French Toast/Cheese Grits. Sirloin and scallops

Very attentive service. Great quality food. Comfortable atmosphere where you can carry on a conversation.

The menu is very over-priced for what they provide. The wine list is extensive, but the pricing is beyond the mark-up I would expect to see even at a fine dining establishment. I don't mind paying a multiple of the retail price, but 10x seems a bit extreme. Prior to leaving, we stopped at the bar for a drink. I ordered two Baileys on the rocks. I pulled a $20 bill out and was quickly and flippantly told it was going to cost more than that. He poured the drinks and pinched the two glasses together with his fingers on the inside of the glass even touching the drink. I will not be back! The server was excellent, but giving a low rating on the service due to the bartender.

We frequently go to Gallery and brought some business associates there. We were very disappointed in the service. We waited a full hour after ordering before getting our entrees.

I enjoy the little touches that we get when we dine here. The scallops and grits were awesome. The grits were flavorful and well seasoned while the scallops had the perfect textbook sear. Staff is responsive and courteous.

Very nice brunch after church and they would take a reservation.

Fantastic food and even better service!!

The server forgot about our appetizer. When she arrived with the entrees, I asked about the foie gras. She exclaimed that she forgot, offered to remove the entrees, and bring the app. We declined. She said she would bring it after the entrees. We accepted.
While we were still working on the entrees, she brought the foie gras and crammed it onto our table.
She also didn't clear dishes when it was obvious that we were finished with them. We suspect that this was her first experience with fine dining.
We thought it was strange that a manager didn't come to our table at all, especially after the server forgot our first course.
We've been to The Gallery on numerous occasions and really enjoyed it. This time was a big disappointment.

We mainly had steaks they were as good as any steak house. Salad and foie gas were excellent.
Service very good. We brought our own wine and corking fee was reasonable.

Waitress have an attitude she took away our wine glasses thinking we are not drinking but we did order a bootle wine that cost $70 waitress don’t even told us about the special of the day till we ask her poor services

It was my nieces 18th birthday and I brought my mom, sister, and niece. Even though we had a reservation we still had to wait about 20-30 minutes before being seated. The hostess was very flustered. My moms entree was incorrect and it took an additional 20+ minutes for them to prepare the correct food. It came out after we had all eaten. Our waitress was very slow and didn’t offer us to have a dessert menu - last time I went for my birthday they brought my husband and I complimentary cheesecake. It was a little disappointing to say the least.

We had the best meal with exceptional service! Jess and Gregg at the bar are so great and make the best drinks in town!

Sal our waiter was awesome. Overpriced slooow kitchen. Food not worth the money.

Food was good but for the cost should be better. Loved the fact that both our entrees came with a whole head of roasted garlic. Mac and cheese was extremely disappointing, no flavor at all. Filet and rack of lamb were both very good.

A great place to enjoy a great meal in a clean, quiet setting! The staff were very friendly and courteous. Our waitress was awesome as she had wonderful recommendations, plus her down-to-earth character made us feel as if we grew up as friends (although it was our first time meeting her)! The food was fantastic and plentiful. We will definitely return.

Another lovely visit to the Gallery. Amazing service and food much of which is sourced locally.

Valentine's

The service and the food was excellent. Menu is small but diverse. My wife and I had an excellent evening.

This was our third visit to the Gallery. We remembered having great food the past two times. We went for the valentines dinner and we were very disappointed. The food was mediocre and overpriced. We will not return.

Sunday brunch was very good. Chris our waiter was very attentive, service was excellent, food was hot and we enjoyed the surprise 'birthday desert" for my guest. We will be back again.

This remains the best restaurant in Charlotte we've ever visited. While we hit it near St. Valentine's Day when the menu was limited, the overall quality of the food, service and atmosphere just can't be beat. We always sit in the bar on a sofa or love seat for two. Derek encourages us to sit the night, ordering items as we go. I ordered the salmon - the modest portion was fine, given we were ordering lots of apps, anyway, but for most, it probably would have left them wanting. It was wonderful: sweet, juicy, fresh and slightly seared on the outside to give it that perfect combination of texture and flavor. We just can't find this kind of ambiance quality and service anywhere else in the Charlotte area. We especially love being greeted and then afforded privacy. It's professional service.

From the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. I emailed ahead to let them know that we would be celebrating our 20th Anniversary and that I would be proposing again. The food and drinks were over the top good. And the most memorable experience about this restaurant is our server, Hannah. She was so nice and she attended to our every need. I had a special cake with a large ring in it made and when I brought it in, Hannah even took care of having it sliced for us. And, we were given complimentary ice cream to go with our cake since it was such a special occasion. There’s just so much to tell. Everyone at the resort and restaurant was so nice to us. We will definitely be back. Thanks for marking this a special evening for us!!! I recommend this place to anyone who desires only the best. Wow!

We had been to the Gallery Restaurant for dinner a couple of times and it was very enjoyable. Food and service was excellent for our evening meals, but this was the first time we had visited for breakfast and were disappointed. We were expecting excellence and just got average. The food and service for breakfast was just like other hotels that serve the morning meal. Doubt we will be back before dinner anytime in the future.
