Gallery on the Park
This was a very pleasant surprise. We stayed at the St. Anthony's Hotel, and just thought we'd have a basic breakfast at the hotel. However, this place is special. Yes, it's a little more costly than a typical breakfast place, but the service, food and view make it worth it.
Amazing ambiance. Lovely people. Had a couple issues with the food but the manager treated us wonderfully. I would
Come back and give it another shot. Breads and salad were great. Yummy fries. Big burgers.
Food was ok. Angel food biscuits were dry. Brunch satisfactory, brisket omelette was good and shrimp was ok although polenta was tasteless. The biggest issue was service. One of us was drinking water and when the glass was empty and we asked for more it was ten minutes to get filled. There was no knife and we asked for one we never got it. I had to reach to another table and pick up a knife. The staff was not that busy but service was lacking. Will probably not come back.
Excellent food for a reasonable price! The view of the park is excellent. Wait staff are extremely courteous.
Spectacular setting off the exquisite lobby of the St. Anthony's Hotel. Great view of Travis Park which is lit up at night and bustles with activity including the lighted horse drawn carriages. Quiet, unhurried service was attentive. With only one row of tables along the windows, it feels very private. Menu was limited, but food was excellent. Highly recommend.
The food was good but the service could of been better.
Poor service. For example my wife did not have a fork when her entree arrived. The waiter said he would be right back with a fork. When he returned he started conversing with another table. I had to get up and get a fork from another table. One of a couple of examples all at one service. The staff needs training.
The food and experience was impeccable!
The staff went above and beyond to be friendly and acknowledged the fact that we were celebrating my friend's b day they even sent a complimentary dessert at the end of our meal, five stars on that and also the ambiance perfect for lunch and free valet, yes please...now about the food.... is a mixed review. Soup was delish, gnocchi as well, pass on the bruschetta it was bland nothing special, crab cakes were nicely seasoned and crispy on the outside. Overall I would go again for lunch and maybe give the sandwiches and salads a try.
Beautiful restaurant in an old stately hotel. The service was incredible and the staff was very attentive and friendly. We had the breakfast buffet, and got there towards the end of the buffet service, so the food was a little picked over. But it was delicious and the staff was very friendly and did not hurry us, although I'm sure they were close to switching to their lunch service. We sat on the back patio and it was a gorgeous view and atmosphere. Highly recommend. We would go again, and come a little earlier to enjoy the full buffet.
