Food was good but the music SO OVERWHELMING! Not a place to go chat with your date, for sure. Seems like all wait staff (females) were really scantily clad. Not sure if they are trying to be a night club, upscale restaurant or something else.
The salad was good enough but would order carryout to avoid staying inside for long.
A really good experience. Great food and excellent service, we will be back!
Not sure what this restaurant wants to be??? A sports bar, nightclub or restaurant. It is VERY loud. The service was good and so was the food, just the noise level is a bit much for dinner.
From the menu selection I was not expecting a dance-bar atmosphere. Fortunately it wasn’t SO loud that we left. We had a family with young kids next to us, and a bridesmaids party behind us (complete with shots and cheering for shots) so it was weird. Set-up was typical bar tables - again, surprising with some $50 to $115 dollar menu items. Given the atmosphere, we skipped the more dinner-like items and had some EXCELLENT chicken sandwiches. Very fresh ingredients and great fries.
Perfect spot before a concert or Reds game. Very family friendly if you have kids and a nice atmosphere if meeting friends out.
Loved it can’t wait to come again
We visited Galla Park on Tuesday for the Steak Dinner special. Great value! I love the location and the energetic atmosphere, but the music was a bit too loud for the early evening crowd. The steak was delicious and the portion generous. We also ordered the Bailey's cheesecake for dessert, at the recommendation of our server Cameron, and it was fantastic. I loved the red sangria, but it was too pricey for the size. Cameron was wonderful, attentive and friendly.
I requested a booth or table by a wall for anxiety issues through open table. The staff took care of us to sit in a little more private setting. We celebrated my sons 21st birthday there and they took care of us very well. They made it a very wonderful celebration for him. They brought out a cupcake dessert and our server had a sparkler lit. How fun!!!!! The food was outstanding. I couldn't say there was anything bad about that whole night. Thank you Galla Park and all your staff. You were all wonderful!!!!!!!!
Food was delicious but I feel there’s an identity crisis at this place, between whether they are a fine dinning restaurant or a night club. It seems they are both and in my experience the two don’t go well together. We had reservations for 8pm on Saturday and we were taken to two different bar tables before my wife finally asked for a regular table. They have about 4-5 regular tables in the bar area, and that’s where they put us. There was a big curtain hiding a large non-bar dinning room, but it seems it is transformed into a nightclub at 10pm. The food was good but way too expensive to be eating it at a bar. I go out to a nice dinner to enjoy good food and wine, then I go to a bar after. I don’t want to eat fine expensive food in a bar. That’s just me though, so if you’re ok with that, please check it out because the steak was delicious.
Good food and good service. This is my new go-to lunch spot.
The food was amazing the service however was lacking. The waiter was to busy with a party to help his other tables. We never got refills on our drinks, and our food was gone when he asked everything was okay.
Working in cincinatti and decided to go to this restaurant. Had good reviews so why not? The waitstaff took FOREVER, and we had to constantly ask for things such as drinks, and the check. We put our whole order in, apps and entrees at same time. The app came out but our entrees took over 1.5 hours to come out. The waitstaff was more focused on a kids birthday party to pay any mind to the rest of their tables.
It was steak night, so we ordered steaks. No taste whatsoever, and tasted like rubber. Not somewhere we will return to.
Sad bc the place is actually super cool with a cool sports vibe .
Our server was Austin and he was awesome. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.
This was our 1st time at this restaurant. The service was incredibly fantastic. Our server was Jeremy, and he was on it! No rush. We were able to enjoy drinks at our leisure and our food came out very timely not having to hurry through our appetizers, salads or entree. The food was great with the exception of our steaks being a tad over cooked. We would definitely recommend this restaurant. It was clean, upscale and met our expectations. Again kudos too the staff!
We go out to eat very often. We tried Galla Park being that it's brand new. Well it didn't disappoint our service and food were both amazing. Jeremy was our server and his timing was incredible. We will definitely be back.
The food was really subpar. Power bowls were something I could easily have made at home and much tastier.
What a great surprise. First time at Galla Park, plenty of choices and service was above expectations.. Jeremy and trainee took great care of us..
Nice enough staff. We were the only table
Table of 9. Not sure I would return. Service was just ok. My food was good. Others said theirs was dull. Overall nothing bad I just was not impressed enough to reccomend.
Went here for a bachelorette party! The food was delicious and we ordered a huge drink to share! The Reds won their game so we even got front row seating to the Friday Fireworks! Our waitress, Bianca, was incredible! We are definitely planning on going back again soon! The only negative was that homeless people would come try and talk to us quite a bit, but thankfully they had security there to take care of it!
Enjoyed dining for lunch at this new Cincinnati restaurant. Luncheon choices are varied and delicious and good value beautifully presented. Nice cocktail/wine/beer menu as well. Definitely will return.
Great experience for Sunday funday brunch! Staff and management was friendly and attentive. They brought out fun inflatables for our drinks and made sure the bottomless mimosas were flowing! Excellent experience!
Went for a birthday celebration with 4 people. Squeezed in before happy hour ended and started with the Estancia house wine. It was unfamiliar to me but was quite quaffable. Started with the charcuterie tray which was loaded with interesting meats, cheeses and bread triangles. Plenty for 4. Then two had the horseradish dijon shortrib on cauli puree - yum. Just a hint of the horseradish and dijon on a super tender and juice boneless rib. One had the grilled cheese which was very good and large. One had the mac and cheese with added king crab. The crab addition was generous, and he liked the dish enough to consider ordering another. We had an Orin Swift Abstract with dinner and that was very nice. Our server, Bianca, could not have been any better. She brought the birthday boy a birthday cupcake and delivered it with a sparkler going. Fun. Parking was easy with 2 garages within a block. We will definitely be back.
We went for brunch before a Red's game. We loved the food, had good service and will definitely be back again!
As a destination next to Great American Park Galla gets 5 stars. The food was good and we had great service.
We had Mother's Day brunch at Galla Park, the service was outstanding, the food was so-so, but the noise level was numbing. I have since been told that Galla Park wants to be a "nightclub" even in the day, which is fine if your into that kind of thing, but not great when you are taking your elderly Mother who has hearing aids to brunch. So I can't blame Galla Park for that, but just be forewarned, if you want a nice peaceful brunch on Sunday morning this is not the place for you. However the service was great and they have a chocolate fountain with fruit at the bar which is free and $24.00 bottomless mimosa's so if you are just looking to WAKE UP on Sunday morning and get some fruit and drink you would love it.
Went here for mother’s day We found it to be over priced with small portions. Additionally, the food was subpar.
Mother’s Day brunch was very nice and servers and staff were super friendly!
Wen’t for Mother’s Day Brunch. Decent but not worth what they’re charging.
We had coupons and they wouldn't use all of them. We each had one, I felt that was a little ridiculous, don't hand them out if you won't honor them. Food was delicious.
It was a great time, the food was wonderful and the waitress was on point.
It was so delicious. We will be back!!
Taylor and Austin were incredibly knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The cocktails and food were amazing. Can’t wait to stop in again soon!
Delicious! Great variety
Service was great, prices were good, food was very good, noise level of the music was wayyyyy too loud. I'd go back with a small group, but never again with a large group. There were 12 in our party and the consensus was Galla Park is not conducive to good conversations with friends. Felt more like a club atmosphere.
Our server, Kelsey, was awesome! We were celebrating a bday and she was very careful to make sure the cake I brought was delivered properly. Dinner was a success, thank you!
Loud club-like atmosphere. Food very mediocre. Steak has a weird taste and though we ordered medium, was served rare - we sent back. Soup had lots of cornstarch. Served appetizer, soup, and salad all at the same time. Best thing about the dinner was the Bailey's cake. Maybe if you drink a lot and order a hamburger it would be better but otherwise would not recommend.
Food and dinner music was fantastic. We had the lobster/avocado appetizer, slider, wrap, salad, more. The mashed cauliflower was the best...highly recommended it (even if you aren't a fan).
food was tasty - even kids had plenty to choose from; lots of choices and all appetizing; live music was good but a little loud - overall experience was great and would happily return.
It would be nice to have a 'maybe' as a choice for recommendation. We had mixed feelings about our experience. Ambiance is interesting, but noisy, and very few comfy seating options. Our server was friendly and attentive, but not aware of some menu items. Food was good, but not exceptional or rivaling some of our favorite places. Entrees were not cheap, drinks were expensive. With all the options near to that area, I would choose another place.
The services was good at 11:30 on a Friday. The only issue we had was a piece of fish where the batter was not quite done. We brought it to the attention of the server and they discounted our check. Quinoa powerbowl was very tasty.
