Gali Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria offers great Italian food, delicious pizza and excellent service in the city centre of Edinburgh.
Established in 2005, the restaurant is family run and located in the Haymarket area of Edinburgh's West End.

Booked on OpenTable a few days prior to our visit - disappointed to find when we arrived there was no record of our booking and no room for us, despite showing the waiter my email confirmation. Would recommend 'la piazza' down the road which was excellent - they found space for us despite being very busy.

Maybe they were too busy after the rugby, but service and food was awful - not one of our party of 10 finished their meal, I left my steak after one mouthful. Wine was good though and KFC is only just round the corner! very disappointing

We had a lovely evening here. The food was excellent as was the service. I would definitely go back and also recommend it to others.

Good family eaterie which we enjoyed for early sitting on New year's eve. Not cheap (£270.00 for a family of 5) but we did have 3 courses etc. All in all, a good precursor to New year.

Food is great as always, great value for the price. Service is always exceptionally friendly, giving out the feeling you are dining in Italy. Would reccomend.

Real Italian restaurant with Italian staff. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Me & my kids enjoyed the meal before we did the torchlight procession. Would recommend. Staff friendly & helpful.
