About Galeto Brazilian Steakhouse
Welcome to Galeto, a traditional Brazilian steakhouse where your culinary voyage to the heart of the Brazilian cuisine starts.
Our concept is based on an endless dining experience that features two masterpieces: a unique Brazilian barbecue selection of rotisserie meats and a Gourmet bar area displaying signature dishes.
The meat parade holds up to 14 different cuts of beef, chicken, lamb, pork, and sausage all served on skewers and carved tableside on the Rodizio style. The Gourmet bar area displays 45+ exquisite signature dishes from designed salads, charcuterie meats, cheese selections, hot dishes to seafood.
Accompanying the food we have a vast wine list of local Californian wines, South American and European options to your taste. Also, make sure you save room for our artisan dessert menu that will make you dream of it for days with authentic Brazilian options.

Galeto Brazilian Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
Went there for Valentine's day before concert and just loved all the food. Everything was delicious. Ambiance was romantic. Noise level was great so we could hear each other talk. The waitress was very attentive to us. There is nothing negative I can say about our experience there. We are definitely going again.
We were very pleased with your salad bar's outstanding selections and the quantity of these delights. Of course, your multiple meats, served to our specifications, were all delicious. It was super that we were able to have so much variety in meats in small volumes, rather than as a single type of meat as a full entree. The desserts were outstanding, also, as was the service. Thank you very much for a delightful Valentine's Day dinner date for a couple married 46 years!
I am a person who enjoys good food..I like for each and every thing on my plate to have it's own flavor. I was brought UP in a family of great cooks. I LOVE SEASONINGS. I was able to taste all of these great flavors in MY MOUTH.. I was there for lunch on Valentines Day. We really enjoyed everything, But I did feel rushed. Not enough time to just sit and savour. I would like to come back for DINNER or SUNDAY. More options and HOPEFULY morE TIME.
A group of 7 friends decided to go to Galetos for a new dining experience at a Brazilian Steakhouse. It was fun and lively. The wait staff went way beyond the call of duty. The meats were tasty ( although the filet mignon never made it to our table). The black beans and Brazilian rice were exceptional. Definitely we had a lot of great food and great conversation and loud laughter.. We were there for about 3hours. The only thing is the cost. We didn’t realize regular beverages were extra and so were desserts. The tab came to 80 dollars per person. However, I would recommend it as a one time dining experience.
We were celebrating a birthday, so were 3 other families. It was pretty busy on Saturday and reservations is probably best. We started with cheese bread and salad from the great salad bar, which is my favorite! We then started on the amazing meats that are walked around to your table. Lot's of great choices and selection of meats including chicken and lamb. It's about $50 dollars a plate but I think it's a good value because it's all you can eat dinner
We are frequent visitors and have never been disappointed. The meat selections are great and very flavorful. The buffet could have a bit more items but still worth the money. The service is great, as everyone is very attentive to the tables. The fried polenta fries are to die for. Definitely worth the visit.
Been dying for Brazilian Steak for a long time. Location is closest to my home. We did not want to drive all the way to the City or San Jose for the same kind of food. 5 different cuts of meat were enough but we never got our lamb! 1st round chicken tights were delicious and moist, 2nd round was very dry. Maybe because the restaurant was only 1/2 full and the meat was sitting too long on the grill.
Preamble: Both my wife and I are carnivores who love a great bbq/grill experience. Plus, we never thought we would be out-meated. Safe to say, we didn't leave hungry. First off, the staff is exemplary, from greeting us at the door, explaining how the dinner will proceed, checking on us during the dinner, keeping our glasses full (water and wine). My wife and niece shared wine and I had a top tier Long Island - super good and potent. Then the meat came, one spit after another, we were probably visited 12 times during the meal. All the meat was good (the chicken was a bit dry) and what we found was that altho the flavor was great all around, it was the different textures of the meat that stood out. We've never experienced such a fine, detailed journey through skirt stake and filet mignon (over favorites), to rib eye and beef rib, top sirloin and several more. Oh, the "salad" bar had the best salmon and prosciutto along with mixed greens and great black beans. We are heading back for our birthdays - can't wait!
Great experience at Galeto. My son picked brazilian steakhouse for his 12th bday dinner; being vegetarian I wasn't familiar with any. So picked Galeto on opentable and we were not disappointed. The salad bar was fantastic; I had plenty of options and enjoyed them all. The carnivores in the group loved the various meats. Cocktail was very tasty (gin and ginger, highly recommend). The servers and host were friendly and we felt very well taken care of.
Lovey ambiance, lovely staff, lovely restaurant.
This place was a real surprise. A different dining experience from the usual multiple menu items with a standard program of salads/side dish buffet bar and an array of table delivered grilled meats sliced at the table for each diner. The rib eye steak was my favorite, succulent, juicy and cooked to perfection. A bit pricey but worth it for special occasions.
Galeto has incredible food and great service. The cost is relatively high so it is not an "everyday" restaurant but it is definitely a "destination" restaurant. The wine list is good with mostly California selections from the Napa Valley and offers pairing suggestions for the cuisine. The food is beyond amazing and the servers will continue to bring meat selections to your table until you have had your fill.
My wife and I went there for our first date night in a long time and by the time we left, we realized we had been there for over three hours talking and enjoying the food. There was no rush from the staff for us to leave when we had finished eating. We were allowed to enjoy our wine and talk without feeling like they wanted our table for other customers. That relaxed atmosphere alone was worth the cost of the meal.
We decided to go here because the restaurant was participating in Oakland Restaurant Week. We love Rodizio-style dining, and we were not disappointed. The appetizer bar was first-rate--nice mussels, loin of cod, and feijoada--and so were the steaks. Our favorite meat was the lamb, but we also enjoyed classics like the ribeye and the filet mignon. We definitely recommend it.
The food here is stellar and that includes the great salad bar. While the restaurant is known for it's meat selection, don't miss the salad bar, which included Brazilian rice and black beans, steamed mussels and baked salmon. We didn't try the pork or chicken, but all of the beef and lamb meats were cooked perfectly and well-seasoned. Great service and the atmosphere is intimate and on the quiet side, which was welcomed. All of our party agreed we would be visiting again soon.
We went on a Friday night for a family dinner. It was definitely not worth the price. Service was spotty. Our plates weren't being cleared. The food was just ok. All the meats tasted a little too gamey for me. A big group, a sports team came in and we were completely ignored. Will not be returning.
We went for Christmas Eve. We traditionally go on Christmas for dinner but due a business trip I had the day after Christmas, we chose to move our reservations to Christmas Eve.
We had 6:30 pm reservations and we arrived early (at 6 pm) and we were promptly seated. We - were immediately brought our traditional appetizers (cheesy bread, fried plantains and fried polenta). They were all great. The waiter took our drink orders and promptly brought our drinks.
The food is very good. Their salad / appetizer bar was nicely stocked and the food was presented well. We noticed that the kitchen staff would come out and bring more food as items were taken.
The meats were good overall. I found that some of the meats were a little over done. I like my beef on the med rare to rare and I found most of the meats coming out were more medium to medium well which I didn't particularly care for. I will say that the filet (the rare piece I ate) was very tender and very delicious! The ribeye was also delicious! I also had the pork belly which was to die for!
I ended up not eating a couple of filets, a slice of tenderloin, and a couple of slices of ribeye because they were all medium well which I didn't particularly care for. Some of the meat servers only offered you what they had. We kept asking for the ribeye and the filet which took a while to come out and when they did, some of it was too over grilled for our liking.
After about 7 pm, the restaurant got really busy. They had several large groups which they were able to accommodate. I think they were a little short on wait staff though. I think they only had 3 that night. We found it difficult to get our waiter's attention for refills on our cocktails. Luckily we ordered a bottle of wine since I was never able to get additional cocktails.
We will definitely come back, though I don't think we'll come back for a holiday dinner. We may have to rethink this for Christmas next year.
I've been here 4 I'd we usually have a great experience but this time was our last time visiting the service has declined and the greeting staff was horrible for our whole dinning time we reserved 2 tables and spent over 700 dollars the service was not worth it.
