This is a wonderful restaurant with great food, a full bar, well-trained waiters, and enjoyable, low key Frank Sinatra genre music at just the right volume.
Our party followed the suggested 'business casual' dress code with the men wearing sports jackets and open b.d. shirts.
However, this past Friday evening, we were in the minority. Many of the other male guests were in 'the Arizona slumdog' look....tank tops, shorts and open sandals. A definite turnoff in a white table cloth restaurant.
I recommend the management enforce their attire policy; there's a market for a fine dining restaurant in Chandler where it's fun to get dressed up just a bit.
As good as the food was, we probably won't come back. BTW, this is our second visit - the crowd was a bit dressier on Galeto's opening weekend in December 2019.
Wow!! This place was absolutely amazing. The food in itself is amazing but the service blows the whole experience out of the water. I had John as my server but also really enjoyed the other Staff. Jason had me laughing out loud!
The meat was flavorful and sides were great compliments. Also the pacing was great and didn’t feel rushed like some other similar places.

Got a personal visit from the Chef - he's from Brazil, we are Portuguese.
Young staff was very nice, attentive, talkative, responsive.
Meats were delicious - don't stuff yourself with salad and side dishes.

The food was good we had to move tables because ours was broken. Staff was friendly, for the dress somewhat ok we had someone sit at the table next to us that wasn’t at the table and pulled out a computer. Then a heat alarm went off and we had to ask it be shut off because it was loud. The staff was new so when we asked what the sides were we all played the food guessing game. Everything you asked if that had we probably not available you know Covid and all. The price was high but the food was good. Would maybe eat there again.
All of the meat was overcooked and extremely salty like really really bad. The service was very good very nice waitstaff meal was served in a timely manner but I just could not get past the fact of how salty and how overcooked all of meat was
Truly an amazing experience. If you haven’t been in awhile give them another chance. Things have changed a little. It’s noticeable and it’s all for the good. The food has always been great but the service and the atmosphere has really changed. Make a reservation and dress a little better than casual. Prepare to really enjoy. We’ve gone for the last 2 weekends. It’s my husbands favorite restaurant. He doesn’t want to go anywhere else.
Terrible. The meat was either undercooked or overcooked, it was very fatty and of poor quality. I felt sick when I got home. It is extremely overpriced. The Brazilian limeades are $12 and taste premixed. Gross. Do yourself a huge favor and go to Rodizio Grill.

The gauchos were short staffed, only 2 were going round with meat skewers. We did not get all the meat selections. The gauchos made one round with the few meats; pork, chicken and lamb leg. We were visiting from out of town and would not recommend this place. Thumbs up to our server though he did his best although overwhelmed.
We had been there 4 times before and were disappointed this time. The place was much better before COVID, it had a good buffet and the meats were better and coming more often and generously to the tables.
I will try again when the business is operating normally

Spacing between tables was adequate. Food was average. Meat was a bit on the salty side. The service overall was not good. It took the waiter 10 minutes to get to us even though it was not busy. Wait staff is probably new because of covid turnover but I thought the automatic 20% gratuity was not deserved for a party of 6. I guess since they're going to get 20% anyway it would not matter if they are stellar or not.
Our server kept making rude comments. He asked one of those eating with us if she was really going to eat all the food. He made our table feel uncomfortable for ordering food that we paid for. Not a pleasant experience at all. The other servers were great but our main server was just rude. Not going back.

Worst experience ever and have been there pre-covid multiple times. Everything is blamed on COVID and everything is out. We only saw maybe 5-6 cuts of meat and we all left hungry. Usually, you would have to wheel me out of that place with meat piled on my plate but this time, on a Friday... on 2 gauchos were cooking. They claimed to be out of a lot of stuff due to COVID and this is 6pm on a Friday. You will be charged full price for only getting a portion of the experience. Back to Fogo I guess.

I had high hopes and wanted so bad to like the food but the reduced menu and being rushed through the meal was disheartening. Though longer drives, I will stick with the other churrasco options in town.
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I’ve been sitting here reading the reviews and trying to see if there was any comment from the manager or someone higher to try and salvage their customer base but I have not seen any type of redemption. Here is my story. I went to Galeto for the first time in November (mind you it was a random Tuesday) to celebrate an anniversary. Things were delicious. Service was amazing. Decided to go again to celebrate a birthday. Made a 7:30 reservation. Showed to the restaurant around 7:20. Waited 20 minutes before someone came to check us in. There was a family in front of us who was sitting and waiting when we came in. After the gentleman sits the family in front of us, he finally greets me and checks me in at 7:40. Behind me was a family of 6 who had an 8pm reservation and a lady who had a 7:45 reservation for 5. So the gentleman says he will be back..... time passes and it’s about 8pm and he FINALLY comes back and seats the group of 5 that had the 7:45 reservation and at this point, I’m upset. Because it was a birthday celebration for my husband who is gone 3/4 of each month truck driving. So he leaves because he is upset and I wait to speak to the gentleman who seated the people before us. I WAIT 20 minutes for him to come back and I explain that I had a 7:30 reservation and he seated the 7:45 before us. And his excuse was that he table for 5 was ready before the table for two. I would also like to point out, while waiting ALMOST AN HOUR, I saw maybe 3 or 4 groups of 2 exit the building after eating. AND THERE WAS A TABLE for two who left after immediately after we got there and their dishes and cups sat at that table uncleared for 45 minutes. And all he could say was that he was the manager and that they were short staffed and all he could do was check to see if the table was ready... so even after an hour.. a table for 2 wasn’t ready. He didn’t even remember checking me in (and he even had a notepad with the names of the peopl
I reserved a table at 8pm on Friday the 26th. I showed up with my husband at 7:50pm. They let me know they will clean up the table and we will be seated. At 7:59pm a family of 5 show up for a reservation at 8pm as well. At 8:15 they end up getting seated before us. While we are waiting a man is speaking to the manager about how terrible the service was. At 8:25 the host then approaches us and says they are understaffed and that they will seat us in a little bit. Mind you the place closes at 9pm. So I calmly said can we just do the to go option. She then tells me they don’t do to go orders because of COVID. So we just decided to leave the best she could offer was to rebook for the following night which was insulting because we had already had paid for a babysitter that night. I will probably stick to Fogo from now on.
My family and I had a fantastic experience at Galeto Brazillian Steakhouse. John and Nick were prompt and courteous, the food was amazing, and overall it was simply wonderful. It was our second time there and plan to attend again soon.
Don't trust the reservations that you make because apparently you can make them all day that the restaurant is closed and no one will tell you.
Great place just a bad experience. Very very slow when it came to food. Ran out of food so we only like about 4-5 different varieties. Great place just time timing.
Worst experience possible, manager and staff even mentioned they shouldn't be open. Received 2 types of meat during 1.5 hr stay, couldn't receive alternative items such as salad or drinks. Slowly some tables left and after awhile staff have other tables the option to leave or buy drinks.
Our server Gabriel was super friendly and helpful! Will be coming back thanks to him! Food was great, only wish we could’ve prevented some of the food waste from extras on the table, would suggest packing leftovers from the table for guests to take home. Thanks again to our server Gabriel!
This was the 2nd time to this restaurant. The first time was great we enjoyed it. This visit I brought family with me and we were all disappointed. The service was good although they were young and inexperienced but they were very nice. The meat which is the highlights was over cooked and very tough. I made 2 complaints before we received rare meat. Due to Covid-19 there is no saled bar. The substitute was not even close. Don’t think I will return..
In no way worth the money it is basically the Walmart version of fogo DE Chao. Understand this is a pandemic but with that being the case don't open your building up for service if you cannot handle it. The wine case would be cool if it wasn't completely filthy the lights are so bright that it looks like a school cafeteria
The worst management I have ever seen. Saturday night with no bartender, I mean no bartender. I would never suggest this restaurant to anyone. Food was good and our waiter tried his best.
Took too long for servers to come to table. Made a couple of requests with no results. Meat selection and side dishes could’ve been better, and the only chicken they had was wings. Ordered 2 drinks from bar and one of them took ridiculously long to come. My reservation was done online, I selected “birthday” for my occasion and at the end of dinner when check came I had to mention to the waitress that it was my husband’s birthday and she apologized as that information was not passed on to her.
Service was good. They bring you an abundance of food. All the food was just mediocre. Sone of the sides tasted like a bad diners food. They could do better in the quality of food being served. The meats were all pretty fatty.

Food delivery is fast. It’s when you ask for a sauce or more water then it slows.

We had reservations for New Years Eve! The place was over booked and we had to wait 30 minutes for out table. We decided when the bar finally cleared (too many people at the bar) we would have a drink. The bartender was a cranky old man and I ordered a certain drink Brazilian Mai tai and he gave me something that was sitting on the bar added some bitters and said "here's what you order NOT!!!!! I bartended in NY for a few years and that man should not be working there he gave me the wrong drink twice. Granted he was by himself due to other bartender quit ,but seriously with a extremely overbooked night they should have hired another bartender to help him. This place can afford it with the prices they charge!!!!!! Some of the meats were good but most of them especially the steaks we fatty and gross. Our salads came after we were getting the meat selections that were going around . They charge for everything even you water. Never again not worth it the only thing positive I can say is the staff(except Bartender fire him) was great they all need a raise especially on a busy busy night!!!!!!
