We adore this restaurant and have been going there for almost 30 years now! It is where we love to celebrate birthdays, graduations and special occasions. Since the renovations it has the feel of a Wisconsin supper club and is steps away from the Jefferson Park station. Convenient and delicious. Best ribs every time! We usually get the ribs, but they also have wonderful seafood dishes. Branzino special was wonderful on this visit and the cod & shrimp special cooked in a buttery cream broth was ultra decidant and I practically licked the bowl. Salmon (blackened or grilled), halibut, shrimp and lobster are also always right on with sides of perfectly grilled veggies, twice backed potatoes or even fries. They also have plenty of red meat options: rib eye, NY strip etc. Always a delicious meal and usually we get desserts that are super too! Try the bread pudding, carrot cake, creme brulee or there is a butter cake with berry drizzle over ice cream al a mode. My mouth is watering as I write this. Truly one of our faves!

Great ambiance. Delicious food. Service was on point. Loved the live music. Will be adding this to our date night rotation.

The ribs are always delicious. Music is way too loud-hard to talk, and hard for the server to hear us or be heard. Live music (ukelele singer) was good and not as loud. Prices have gotten very high. The new decor looks great.

It had been at least 1.5 years since I was last at The Gale Street Inn but the service and the ribs reminded me last night that I need to come back more often...

This place has been around forever I haven’t been here in years and was rather nervous it might have changed as I noticed in many restaurants lately. But it was spot on!! Delicious

Absolutely delicious. Coming here since 1980’s and same fall off the bone ribs! Plenty of other options they sounded amazing.
