Our food was cold when served. Prices were very high, but portions were very small. The restaurant had run out of many of the menu items, so choices were limited. Staff seemed overwhelmed by all of the problems. The manager was not attentive when we told her about our complaints. We will not be going back to this restaurant and we definitely do not recommend it .

Aside from the service, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. First, they were out of the berries for the drink we ordered, and they were out of the first appetizer we ordered so our server shared with us the rest of the 86’d list which at this point ended up being just about half of the menu (no joke here). So i order a salad and added shrimp. Guess what, they were also out of shrimp. The 2 things they actually did have that our table ordered were absolutely TERRIBLE. The short ribs were so salty they were inedible and the burger was dry, tough, and had a weird texture. Save yourself the absolute headache and go somewhere else on E 4th. Literally one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in my entire life. It’s pretty easy to do better than that.

Good rooftop experience. Took 3 tries to get my food order, as they were out of several items. Glad it wasn't busy because I think it would have been less satisfying.

We went to Gabriel’s before a comedy show at Rocket Mortgage. We were seated right away, but waited over 15 minutes for a server to come over. Once he did, we ordered 4 drinks, 2 mock tails and 2 cocktails. The mock tails came immediately but we waited again for the drinks and the server told us the “bar was backed up.” The restaurant was empty, so not sure how that was possible. Our apps came out fast and were quite tasty even though they were out of a few items. Our main course took 30+ minutes after we were finished with our appetizers, even though we ordered them at the same time. 2/4 dishes were cold. The team was apologetic but did not try to do anything besides bring us new food. The food that was hot was very well liked. Prepare for long waits and below average service, but decently good food.

Food was not good, couple next to us had molded corn bread. Chicken tenders on the chicken and waffles were tough, and waffles tasted like they opened a box of L'eggo

Our server disappeared a lot. Drinks took far too long to come to the table after ordering them. Drinks and food add up very quickly there. Probably won’t come back. The bartender with the pony tail was cool.

Great place! The staff was exceptional. Everyone was so professional, prompt, courteous, kind and fun. We got there early but the hostess still was able to accommodate us as well as grant our request for the patio. The waiter was great even took a picture for us and with us. The food was outstanding. We enjoyed the menu selections and flavor combinations. Everything was fresh and delicious. Perfect night on the patio we did go inside to enjoy the artwork and local music posters. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a great experience.

Loved the food and our server was great. Getting drinks took over half an hour. That was not good. Apps took a long time, too. Others got their food before us who arrived after us. Timing could improve.

The food and service was excellent. This was my first visit, so did not know what to expect. It was a very good experience, however, be careful that the physical makeup of Gabriel’s does not overtake your opinion when it comes to evaluating the establishment as a whole.

Servers showed up late but sitting at bar proved to be a great choice. Food choices got positive reviews from our foursome. Coleman waited on us and mixed our drinks and made the experience an enjoyable one. Will definitely return!

The was unimpressive. Dry rub wings were marginal. Summer beets were served with overcooked fried pita points. Brussels sprouts had a lot of oil, but no seasoning. Salmon was dry and had NO flavor, not even salt. Only positives were the dirty rice and street corn served with the salmon. The server was very busy and inattentive as a result. He kept saying that he was helping because they were so busy upstairs. Got it…negative customers downstairs because you have too many upstairs. Would not recommend.

Mixed bag! The ribs (tablitas), hush puppies over done and tough/chewy. The lobster bisque was good but light on the lobster. Beet salad, excellent, mussels ok. The beignets over cooked and hard. Service was good

Made a reservation for 5pm before a comedy show across the street when we arrived a lady rudely told said “we are closed!!!!” Told her we had a reservation for 5 and she said we couldn’t have because we are closed and there was nothing she could do about it…so we scrambled to find somewhere else to eat before the show! Will never be back or any of their sister restaurants!!!

The food was delicious, the service was challenging. For example the bartender was eating behind the bar while NOT serving customers. 15 people walked in and took up most of the bar stools and they all left. Again the food was great. Front of the house needs to get their S*** together.

Hair in cornbread. Fries at room temperature. Server did not return to table so we could ask for ketchup for fries. Nashville chicken sandwich had good flavor but served on bread which was much larger than chicken breast.

Gabriel's was a good experience. I feel like the front of the house was woefully understaffed. They were also out of a lot of the components for drinks and some of the meals. That said, the food we did order was outstanding.

The staff was very friendly but unfortunately the restaurant was over booked for the amount of employees working. It was a summer Friday so the ownership should have put its employees in a better position to succeed. We will give it another try but on a week day when it’s not so busy.

We came here before a show on a Friday night. We had reservations. No one greeted us until 20 minutes after being seated at our table. And once the server arrived, she didn’t welcome us or give us a rundown of the menu, it was, just “did you want to order drinks?” Quickly after she took our order, a different server appeared to let us know he would be taking over our table, and that the other server was sick. Not a reassuring thought for diners. He ended up paying for a round of our drinks, which was great and appreciated, but for an establishment on East fourth, we expected better.

Really enjoyed. .Best bar in town if u enjoy Bourvon or tequilla. Bartender really knows what he is doing. All of the food was amazing . My only complaint is menu needs more choices that at least lean healthier. Will come back but would be a favs if menu had some healthier choices
