   We came here before a show on a Friday night. We had reservations. No one greeted us until 20 minutes after being seated at our table. And once the server arrived, she didn’t welcome us  or give us a rundown of the menu, it was, just “did you want to order drinks?” Quickly after she took our order, a different server appeared to let us know he would be taking over our table, and that the other server was sick. Not a reassuring thought for diners. He ended up paying for a round of our drinks, which was great and appreciated, but for an establishment on East fourth, we expected better.

   Really enjoyed. .Best bar in town if u enjoy Bourvon or tequilla. Bartender really knows what he is doing. All of the food was amazing . My only complaint is menu needs more choices that at least lean healthier. Will come back but would be a favs if menu had some healthier choices

   I gave the overall experience 4 stars only because they were severely understaffed. The hostess only gave us drink menus and not dinner menus, had to ask for them . It took quite awhile for our server to come to our table as she was also bartending. She was very professional and personable and it was definitely not her fault. It took a fair amount of time to get our food but fortunately we had allowed ourselves plenty of time prior to the play off game and our beers came quickly. The food portions were huge and very tasty, kudos to the culinary team. We had to request someone grab our server so we could get our bill and then had to go to the bar to pay it as she got stuck behind the bar taking orders. The bartender had walked away from the bar. Logan, our server did what she could do considering she was stretched thin. I know that it is hard to staff these days but it was the first okay off game for the Cavs and I would have expected more. Also what is with the name change, is it Indie’s or Gabriel’s. We were confused! THank you also for validating parking, it is much appreciated!! We will still come back as we have had great experiences in the past.

   If you are on a tight time table don't eat at Indie. We were there for over an hour and never got our dinner before we had to leave for the Cavs game. The table of 6 next to us were there over an hour and half and never got there dinner. Indie said they were short staffed so why would they seat the whole restaurant knowing they can't serve them in a timely manner.

   They were very understaffedm which isn't the staffs fault. The restaurant seemed like they weren't ready to open. Boxes were placed around the sitting area and the table was clearly recently painted black. I ended up getting some black paint on my head from the poor paint job. Food was ok but fries were cold, food was slightly overpriced. If you only care about the food i would go somewhere else for better price and better food.

   They just changed concepts and it was pretty underwhelming. Not sure if the ownership/staff switched over as well, but based on how much worse the food and service was than previous visits to the Indie, I assume it did, RIP Indie.

   Don’t waste your night here!!! I don’t enjoy posting negative reviews, but if you are like myself you research reviews almost every time you are going somewhere. We arrived at 5pm for our reservation. We were taken to an upstairs table. 15 minutes later a server asks us for our entire order because they are short staffed and their”system” was down. We received water after ordering. They continued to sit tables near us, but the server would tell everyone how everything was down and server call offs. After being at the table for 45 minutes and not receiving our first drinks from the bar yet we left. The tables around us did the same. We discovered the table that was there prior to our arrival were sat for almost 45 minutes before even having a server arrive at their table. They still had not received their first drink order and had been waiting more than an hour. We had an event at 7. We bailed from this place at 6pm. We had to find something quick to eat In order to make our event on time. This place doesn’t care if you have plans. You are on their watch after you are seated.

    Our servers were good. However, the food was horrible. My wife got the restaurant week menu with the entree being mussels and fries. They smelled rancid and tasted about the same. I got the fried walleye. When I asked about it the server told me it was a great portion massive full fillet. It came out and looked to be about he size of a bluegill and tasted bland. The fries were cold as was the biscuit that came with it.

    We had a lovely time at Indie, the decor is so much fun to peruse. The food was a french creole mix- divine. The ambiance is neat some of the seating overlooks a window above East 4th, great for people watching.

    Our server and bar tender were both incredibly attentive and extremely friendly. Our food items we ordered were even better than expected. The restaurant was clean. The music was great. Overall we loved our experience and will return quite soon.

    Had a reservation weeks in advance. When we arrived we were placed in the rear of the restaurant next to the band. We ordered an appetizer and a drink. The entire time the manager was moving tables and chairs all around us. We certainly did not feel welcome. Manager never came over to apologize or any comment. We were invisible.

    The service here was less than ideal - our food took quite awhile and the servers seemed flustered. When the food got to our table it was great! Everyone enjoyed their meal. The manager made up for the service issues, which is why I’m leaving the five stars! We will be back for hopefully a better service experience and the same great food and drinks!

    Honestly felt kind of rushed by the service even though it wasn't very crowded. Food was priced well and taste slightly above average (Nashville chicken had no kick).

    The old Greenhouse still has no atmosphere but the simplified chicken centered menu is much easier to navigate. Great fries.

    The food was ok. I had the nashville sandwich and I was expecting a spicy sandwich. I asked the sever and she apologized to me for not explaining that to me prior to ordering. She offered to take it back and get me something else but I was already half done and the chicken was done nicely but I was lacking chicken on my sandwich. Pricey for such a small sandwich. I had the dumpling soup that was pretty good. Overall I was very excited to try this place and I guess my expectations were too high.

    This was our third time there in the past two months. The cornbread is amazing! Everything that we have gotten there was delicious! (Except didn’t care for the coleslaw-as it was bland). Good portions for the price.
