About Gabriel's Restaurant
Gabriel's Restaurant features elegant Italian fine dining in the quaint town of Sedalia. Our restaurant is housed in the Victorian Manhart home which was built at the turn of the 1900's and converted into Gabriel's in 1985.
Matthew and Jan, owners, have been serving the greater Denver area for over 20 years. Gabriel's specializes in three-course dining so you won't just get an entree. Your evening will begin with an appetizer, followed by soup or salad, then the entree of your choice. Our pricing ranges from $28 to $51 for all three courses.
The extensive wine list offers a huge variety to compliment any dinner. We are conveniently located between Denver and Colorado Springs, just 20 minutes from the Tech Center and 30 from Denver.
Gabriel's is perfect for all occasions. Indulge yourself and experience the ultimate in elegant fine dining.
Dine on Wednesdays and enjoy 1/2 price on any bottle of wine, including cellar selections.

Gabriel's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Gabriel's has been one of our favs for years from when it started in Georgetown. Matthew and Jan have not only kept the awesome tradition but have selectively added their own touch over the years. Vera has been our server for years and has really given us personalized care. Our travels have made it difficult to dine there as often as we would like; however, each time we go, we always receive a royal welcome. The menu is incredible and features a variety of sumptuous entrees. The ambience at the Victorian home is cozy, warm, and inviting. It is a must for special occasions!
We went for our 33rd Anniversary! We had excellent and attentive wait staff. The food was absolutely delicious and they brought us a 'special dessert' for our occasion. We have been going to Gabriel's for about 10 years now, especially for special occasions. Would definitely recommend it!
One of the best restaurants in the metro area is in tiny Sedalia. A 3 course meal at a resonable price for the quality. I would call it American gourmet. I had the lobster ravioli appetizer, autumn salad and grilled lamb chops with gorgonzola, butternut squash and haricot verts. It's more than worth the drive.
Have gone to this place numerous times and as always, the food and service were exceptional. I go to this place for my birthday every year as I know the food will be great as well as the service. Nothing like having a great meal in an old victorian style house.
We continue to return to Gabriel's as we have never been disappointed. Great location for our 1st anniversary celebration. Fabulous food, great atmosphere and attentive service. We were allowed to eat at our leisure and each course arrived as we finished the previous course. Worked with a local florist to make the evening even more special with flowers on the table. And the price, outstanding for the quality of the meal and the level of service. Highly recommend them for any occasion.
All three of us enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. We dined early and the wait-staff couldn't have been more attentive, helpful, and friendly. They answered all questions and catered to our needs. Unfortunately the shrimp with pasta was overly salty, but they took it back and deducted it from the final bill. Overall, wonderrful experience.
We have visited Gabriel's before, it is still the great place that is was when we first found them.
Great service, friendly staff and wonderful food. A nice quiet getaway to celebrate our anniversary where you can drink your wine enjoy your meal and have the evening to yourselves. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a quality experience!
Had not been to Gabriel's for ages… It did not disappoint. Every bite was delicious! One of the best filet mignon is I've ever had… And I am a real carnivore! Lemoncello tiramisu was divine for dessert… And I think it's of well priced restaurant for the quality of food… I am definitely coming back again!
Good food - HORRIBLE SERVICE. Server rather pretensious and rude .. we almost walked out in the middle of our meal! Love this resto, but will absolutely think twice prior to returning. We get along with everyone in life .. our server is absolutely in the wrong job. Very suprised owner/mgmt allows that type of behavior.
As always, the food is wonderful and the ambiance great. We ordered the veal entree and the steak/scampi entree. Both were exceptional. We liked the idea of a locally sourced summer salad, but the dressing overwhelmed the greens. Comments were "too bitter" and "too tart". The Ravioli appetizer is to die for.
We were there for a very special occasion. We ate in the fine dining section.
Food was disappointing. Preparation was too goopy (saucy). Ceasar salad was drenched in creamy dressing (better on side or a much lighter option would have been preferred). Wife's special, the Char, was smothered with tziki sauce when a little dollop would be sufficient. The sauce overwhelmed the blackened seasoning. Better to put the sauce on the side. The Char was overcooked.
The pasta that was included in my main dish, Veal Saltimbocca, once again was smothered in alfredo sauce when plain pasta would have been just fine.
A healthier preparation would have been preferred or at least an option.
Service was excellent.
