It was our second time coming to Gabriel’s. The last time was two years ago. Our server remembered us from the time before and made us feel very special. I didn’t realize until we left that the owner was actually the host. He was incredibly hospitable and kind. I absolutely love this place and it was worth every penny. The food is exceptional and the service is spectacular! I’ll
Consistently wonderful! The food is great, atmosphere cozy and comfortable.
It was an awesome dinner. The service was outstanding. The setting is so beautiful. and above all else it was an incredible meal. It is worth the extra short drive to truly enjoy this hidden gem. A real treasure. We highly recommend Gabriel’s!
Our server Jessica was wonderful! We always enjoy our visit to Gabriel's.
I have been here on other occasions and it is always a pleasant place to enjoy dinner. We were looking at it this time as a possible location for my son's rehearsal dinner.
The food is great. You can casual dine or excellent for special occasion for the coursed dinner. Service is good. Great wine list.
Having eaten @ Gabriel's before, we were extremely disappointed in the food and, in general, the experience. For the prices we paid for our meals, the food should have been exquisite and the service more attentive. Dishes were all well prepared but ordinary. Our waiter was fun and patient with us (having a toddler and elder both on oxygen) but when you pay that kind of price for a meal, you expect well-timed service. We also felt the furnishings and décor were shabby and needing some attention. We have only been there previously at night, but daylight dining was less inviting. The overall quality of this restaurant is definitely on the downhill slide. Hope they can regroup since we've had some fine experiences in the past.
Excellent food, well prepared and presented. Outstanding service, great attention to detail.
Wonderful old house, makes a fun setting.
Food, ambiance, and device was excellent.
Once again we treat ourselves to Gabriel’s for Easter Brunch. We are never disappointed; this has become our tradition.
Each year we have sat in a different part of the house, which is great fun. I do love the feeling of variety and space both inside the restaurant and within the menu. We had a Malbec that set off the prime rib. I hear the Cornish game hen was also delicious.
Our waiters were attentive and generous with their suggestions and their service. My Grand was treated as a four year old expects to be treated, ie, catered to with friendly aplomb. We could not ask for more! Thank you for a lovely time.
We went for my wife's birthday. They accommodated a party of 6 very well. The service was excellent and every dish was enjoyed by each of us. We will be back for another special occasion!
High Quality Food and service. Great ambience and very comfortable. Beautiful building and great food make a winning combination. The lamb chops are outstanding and the drinks are like you make at home.
This was our first visit and we loved it. The food was terrific and the service was outstanding. The staff was super friendly and the ambiance was perfect.
Just another delightful special meal at Gabriel's! We have yet to be disappointed in the food, service or ambiance at Gabriel's. It's a beautiful place with all sorts of small dining areas to enjoy a quiet dinner with good friends and family we highly recommend it.
The food was excellent, no rush on our meal and the ambiance was charming. Will be back in the warm weather to enjoy a meal outside.
Always a splendid time at Gabriel's!!
Great food, superb service, and all in a very pleasant and warm atmosphere!
Matt and Jan do a wonderful job with maintaining the special feeling that is Gabriel's!
This restaurant is a "must" for special occasions. The service is outstanding and the food is beyond wonderful. We have celebrated our anniversary here for the past 6 years and we wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Thank you Gabriel's for another memorable evening.
Great place, we love everything! Food, people who serving, bar, ets. Thanks a lot for wonderful evening!!!
The ambiance and service were outstanding, but the food just was not that great for the price. The lemon sorbet for dessert was the shining star and we enjoyed the ravioli starter and winter salad, but the main dishes were a problem. My steak and shrimp scampi was simply not good. The shrimp had no flavor other than an overwhelming taste of what I think was sherry that hadn't been cooked down enough. My friend's filet was under seasoned, as well. It's a shame, because it's such a lovely place and the dining experience was very nice, but for ~$40-$50/person, the food just isn't worth it.
Manager was super accommodating to our large group beforehand with our ever changing guest number and food requirements as well as seating situation. Food options met everyone’s taste nicely including vegetarian. Everyone was pleased and satisfied. Service was attentive, patient and did an amazing job with our party of 16.
A memorable evening of slow-food dining pleasure with my beautiful parents, celebrating my father’s 84th birthday. Madison was our waiter and provided excellent service and genuine care for our celebration. Will be returning again with eager anticipation!
Haven’t been here in years and I’m so glad I went back! We had a fabulous meal, great service, good recommendations from out server and a really enjoyable, and special date night! Highly recommend!
Went for Denver restaurant week and first time at this restaurant. Great experience. Rick was our server , provided amazing recommendations and he made the experience wonderful.
Fabulous evening! Superb service. Lovely setting. Varied menu. Food quality is of utmost importance. A very special place where you're treated like an honored guest.
Warm and iniviting atmosphere with great service and the food was tasty.
All of the beef dishes at the table were cooked to perfection and pleased everyone, as did the stuffed mushroom entree. The chicken Marsala and whipped potatoes, however, were bland with little flavor. There was a wide variety of wines and desserts, to tempt all. Unfortunately we felt ignored most of the night by our waiter. We topped off our own wine glasses and even had to find the water pitcher at one point, something that should be unheard of at a " classy" place such as this. All in all it was a nice meal but woefully overpriced for the quality and service we received.
A one of a kind gem! Out of the normal hustle and bustle of the city we LOVE Gabriel's! We have made this a yearly tradition and look forward to coming each time! The atmosphere is great. The service exceptional and the food is outstanding!!!
Gabriel’s has always been one of our favorite restaurants for a unique dinner out.
Very romantic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fabulous in all ways. Perfect for any special occasion or a spur of the moment. Make a reservation, though.
A must visit just to take in the ambiance of a turn of the century home. Nice to meet owners and see them so involved. Definately a small privately owned business worth supporting.
My husband and I have been eating at Gabriel's for every special occasion for 24 years. When my brother wanted to celebrate his good luck selling one home and finding the home of his dreams we suggested Gabriel's. Five of us each had a different meal but to a person agreed we had not eaten anything that tasted better anywhere else than our individual meals at Gabriel's. Two days later my brother is still raving about the flavor and tenderness of his filet. We appreciate being treated like kings and queens and being served meals fit for both. We just love Gabriel's.
Denver Restaurant Week. Waitress said that was only menu we could order from even though website said normal menu would also be available (wife is ill and only eats an appetizer usually). Then told could order smaller items from bar menu, but couldn’t be served in dining room, everyone must move to bar. Asked if others could then order from Restaurant Week menu, but no answer simply walked away with no interest in finding answer.
We went to Gabriel's for restaurant week to check it out. The food was fabulous, happened to be 1/2 price on your bottle of wine so an added bonus. Enjoyed a romantic evening, delicious meal and a great bottle of wine. The atmosphere is cozy, well decorated, quiet, the perfect setting for an evening out. Would be a great place for a company gathering, rehearsal dinner, so many options! We'll be back!
vegies were warm but almost raw. room we were in was cold and uncomfortable. too much garlic in potatoes. meat was done perfectly and delicious.
We had great service with wonderful food. My husband really enjoyed the duck!
Late valentines day dinner
Gabriel's is always consistently good. Excellent food, professional service. Great value. Good for any occasion but especially if you are looking for a place where you can have a quiet conversation over dinner - and enjoy the ride to Sedalia.
We happened to go during restaurant week and each chose a different appetizer, salad and entree. All dishes were good, nice atmosphere, helpful waitress and good drinks.
I made a reservation a month in advance for the start of Denver Dining week. Not until I was there, did I realize that I had made it for 5 instead of the 7 we needed. They accommodated us without complaint and we had a lovely dinner. We enjoyed the special menu (and especially the many choices of entrees) and I had a dessert on the house for my birthday. The noise level was fine for conversation at a large table.
