We requested and got a very private room in the old house - outstanding. Service could not have been better - timely, not rushed, just right. Party of four had four different entrees, appetizers, etc. All were perfect.
had a great anniversary meal here! A a very romantic atmosphere and the service was great! We felt very well taken care of!
Great food, wonderful atmosphere! Much attention to every detail of your dinning experience!!
Very excellent food and service. We had a dinner reservation at 7 :00 p.m. and we were seated right on time. Our questions were answered promptly and our order for drinks was delivered soon thereafter. All 3 courses were exactly as described and we had more than enough food and drink. Our server was excellent and her assistant kept our water glasses full.
This was a special occasion for us and we are grateful that Gabriel's was special, too.
Gabriel's is a beautiful place! Enchanting, atmospheric, and the service was wonderful.
As usual, our experience was fulfilling in every sense of the word. From the making of a reservation to the dessert we enjoyed good welcome, good service, good food, and great interaction socially.
Excellent service and quality of food. Comfortable and well decorated dining rooms. Separate rooms, with only a few tables in each, facilitate low noise level. Great wine list with affordable choices.
Awesome place every time we go!!! Go enjoy some great food in an awesome place!
I have been a customer for over ten years. Last week's dinner was another great night of great food and service at a fair price.
As always Gabriel's is the best. Been going for my birthday for 15 years now and highly recommend !!
First time we have been here since new ownership, pleasantly surprised everything remained outstanding!
We’ve been coming here for years without any problems. We always loved the food and service. Unfortunately, on this occasion, my wife ordered the lobster tail and it came out undercooked! They took care of the problem but we’ll probably never order the lobster again. Just not what we expected from Gabriel’s.
We went for Sunday brunch and the service is spot on, very quiet setting. nice alternative.
We have loved all about Gabriel's from the very first time we ate there......many, many years ago. However, this visit was our first time to eat upstairs!! That was fun!! The filet was perhaps the best filet I have ever had anywhere.....super flavor and super tender. Everyone in our party of 4 was very happy with everything. Although the restaurant was very busy, the noise level was amazingly quiet, and the service was extremely timely.
I think the Chef had a bad night. My wife's seafood and filet were under cooked although my scallops were just right. This is an elegant restaurant and we should have said something but we didn't. We've dined here before and never had a problem.
Food not as good with new owner. Too much talking that interfered with the music.
This is an incredible dining experience. I enjoy their filet which was melt on your mouth. The three course meal which was served in a quiet intimate small dining room. Great place for a romantic dinner. The service was fantastic.
We had a great time at Gabriel's. The new owner, Chuck, was attentive and friendly. Our server, Kim, was also attentive without being annoying. She clearly enjoys her work and the restaurant, as her wide smile showed. Our dinners were excellent, along with a bottle of wine and a shared dessert. With tip we spent ~$180. That's well above our typical dinner out, but for a special occasion (in our case my wife's birthday and a belated Valentine's Day date), the quality of the food, the staff, and the ambience made for an experience well worth the money. We'll be back for our next special occasion!
Brunch on Sunday was spectacular. I had heard good things about Gabriel's; They were true. We'll be back.
We went to Gabriel's for our anniversary on Saturday Feb 16. The wait staff were attentive but gave us privacy, the food was excellent, the dining room we were in was quaint and the atmosphere romantic. I particularly enjoyed the 1940's - 1950's big band type music being quietly piped in. The restaurant was not crowded at 8PM when we dined.
The food was excellent. The appetizer was exceptional lobster ravioli. The filet mignon was delicious and prepared exactly as requested. Shrimp were large, tender and delicious.
Price was comparable with other higher end steak houses, but we particularly enjoyed the atmosphere in the historic house and it was easy to get to from Littleton.
We will plan to go back.
This is a great special occasion place. Menu has been updated over the years but ambiance and service are still top notch
This is our once a year treat. It's very expensive but worth the money.
Ordered the beet salad. Very disappointing, as there were only 3 beets in the salad. Mostly lettuce.
I have been to Gabriels at least a half dozen times, great place, but it seems things have slid s little. I had lobster and it was not completely cooked, my date ordered get
Medallions on the more well done side and she was delivered medium rare at best. It was still good, but I think I’d go elsewhere for a special occasion. It pains me to write this, I really was expecting better.
This restaurant is where ambiance meets customer service meets great food for a wonderful dining experience. My understanding is that Gabriel's was purchased by a new owner about 6 months ago, and the new owner is doing everything right. My significant other has a life threatening allergy to fish of any sort. We were easily accommodated by the chef who substituted sea food with delightful alternatives in certain dishes even though it was a special Valentines Day menu. Everything we had was well prepared and well considered. Additionally, the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food.
Gabriele's is a romantic special occasion restaurant which is why we picked it for Valentine's Day. The food was wonderful, and as usual, the ambiance was very special. The only negative is that the kitchen apparently wasn't prepared for the volume that evening. We waited over fifteen minutes between the second anf thirs courses. The waitress was apologetic, but I still had to ask her to check into where our entres were. Still, we left feeling good about the experience.
A nice place off the beaten track of cookie cutter Denver resturants. Anniversary dinner event. The Victorian atmosphere was delightful and more authentic than most who try. The service was excellent and very friendly. The food was just ok but acceptable. Could use a little more atention to detail on what is served and how it is plated, but overall the flavors were good on most of our dishes. A little pricy but all in all a decent value. We would try this again for a specail night out.
What a wonderful night. The restaurant is in a really interesting old home. It gives the restaurant a very intimate but comfortable ambiance. It is not pretentious at all. The service is very good, attentive but not overbearing. And the food is excellent. Highlights include the lobster ravioli, which is rich and flavorful, a beet salad that was as nice to look at as it was delicious, and a perfectly cooked steak medallion, excellent shrimp and asparagus that was as good as I’ve ever had. And the wine selection is excellent as well. Great meal!
We loved our visit to Gabriel's and are so glad they have added a Sunday brunch. As always, the decor and ambiance are elegant, beautiful and relaxing. The new brunch menu is delightful, with a variety of fresh ideas for brunch as well as traditional breakfast options. The service was warm and friendly and top notch. Our meals were prepared wonderfully and tasted delicious. For the high standard of quality, I thought the prices were very reasonable. We'll be going back!
A wonderful family evening for us. Our server remembered me from 10 years ago.
GABRIEL'S is such a delightful restaurant with delicious food, exceptional service VERA and is THE spot for a special occasion and the go-to for you and your love to share a beautiful evening together. In our group of eight we ordered both types of appetizers - tasty pasta and smoked salmon, as well as salads and soup(butternut squash- light and creamy and beautifully spiced) and our entrees were steak, sea bass, scampi and eggplant. Each dish was beautifully plated and perfectly cooked and delicious. It is rare to have been a patron for nearly the conception of this restaurant and find the food still exceptional and a lovely server who has been with the establishment for about 30 years always at the ready with charming and professional service. CUDOS TO ALL!!
Our recent visit was overall very good, but not quite as good as past times. As always the atmosphere is welcoming and understated elegance. Seems like every time we come there is a table of loud talkers which is challenging. This speaks more about our Colorado neighbors than anything about the restaurant. The evening was very busy, with a couple of late parties. As a result I thought the service was slower than usual. My wife's steak came out more medium well than medium but the veal dish was wonderful. Perhaps the kitchen was just little overwhelmed this time around. All in all this is one of our favorite restaurants and we will be back.
The food was excellent, as always. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a problem with staffing, and our service was quite poor. Although they comped our desserts to try to make up for it, the poor service detracted from the experience.
Food was not bad, but all of us were served luke-warm rather than hot. It seems much was prepared ahead of time and then reheated. Didn't feel like the food was made right then and there--at least the sides. Also, food was smothered in the sauce rather than enhanced and focused more on burying mediocre cooking rather than highlighting the dish.
As always another wonderful meal. The food was expertly prepared and looked as good as it tasted. We love Gabriel's when we have special company.
We love this place
Special place to visit with extremely friendly staff and excellent food and drinks.
Always really good. We use it for special occasions.
Date night with wife!
