Gabriella's Italian Steakhouse
We got in right before the restaurants were shut down, so we had the place mostly to ourselves. Started with the spicy margarita which had a great kick! We ordered the clams oregonata which were fine, but could have used some pancetta. We also got the millionaire's wedge which had more of an Asian dressing, but was delicious. I got the spicy seafood pasta with spinach fettucini which was incredibly rich. But had large quantities of seafood, especially lobster, which was lovely. My husband had the ribeye which he said was some of the best steak he's ever had. We got the lobster mac and cheese which was okay, and the broccolini that was very plain. Overall great ambiance and service and would definitely go back for a special occasion.
Delicious bone in filet mignon prepared perfectly. Our server, Sophia was friendly and helpful. An enjoyable experience all the way around. Look forward to returning!
I went here for the first time on a Tuesday day night at 6:00. so needless to say it was full or the kitchen overly stressed. But keeping that in mind, My wife and I had an incredible dinner. the food is outstanding and the service is top notch. Our sever Jessica, was informative and very skilled at her job. The food was timed perfectly, wine was poured as needed and attention was paid to every detail.
I highly recommend Gabriella's and look forward to our next visit.
Great meal, restaurant is top of the line, excellent knowledgeable service/staff. Highly recommend
Booked an early Sunday night table to beat the crowds for our first visit to Gabriella’s. Although we found the decor, ambiance and food pleasant we were somewhat disappointed in the service ... or lack thereof. Unlike other tables near us, we weren’t offered any menu recommendations or popovers to start our dining experience. Hopefully next time we won’t be excluded.
Great date spot. We had an early Valentine’s Day dinner and everything was excellent. Food, ambiance, service and drinks were all great. It was our first time there but we can’t wait to go back. Must try!
We had a great dinner with great service, we will be back again.
My favorite restaurant in a Middletown. Food is always out of this world. The price is reasonable considering the food is outstanding. The service is amazing, the ambiance is beautiful....truly love this place! Great for families, my two kids love the chicken fingers and Mac n cheese, and they are both picky eaters.
Outstanding food - the Octopus app is perfectly charred and tender, a must try item. One of the best in Monmouth County right now. Lobster cocktail was fresh and clean. Chef is known for his pork chop, put that on your list too. Wine selection is good both by bottle and glass.
Good food and service. Pleasant atmosphere.
What I love about this restaurant is there large variety of choices, for a steak house. We were a party of 3. We all had different appetizers to start. The oysters were fabulous ! Huge salad selection, which we had as entrees with sides of vegetables. Food & device were very good.
The food was great. I would put it up there with a ny fine dining. The scallops delicious. The two strip steaks each done to perfection, a medium and a medium rare. Great Caesar salad and cacio and pepe pasta just right. Can’t tell you how much we enjoyed this meal.
Food was great, service was great except they accidentally brought out a plate that had nuts in it and my husband ate it, even though we told the waiter repeatedly he is severely allergic to nuts. He ate a piece and thankfully was fine, but the GM just apologized. Other than almost killing my husband, the food was amazing! 10/10 recommend
Unfortunately we decided to try this restaurant for the 3 rd time and once again the food just was not good. Our steaks were not cooked correctly and instead of fixing an overcooked steak they gave me the same steak with cold sides and they refired my husband’s undercooked steak but it was terrible! And it was 10:45. We had a 8:45 reservation! Not returning! Overpriced and we have never had good food.
Dinner was phenomenal. The steak was cooked to perfection. Pasta was filled with flavor. The pastry chef capped it off with Carrot Cake and Gelato. We will be back for the Red Velvet Cake.
Great food great service ...just what we needed in this area.
The food was outstanding but the service while very polite and professional seemed stretch too thin and the cadence from sitting down to ordering was lengthy...
Everything was just delicious! I’m glad it’s just not a steakhouse and offers a variety of seafood dishes. Between the four of us we had a 1 salmon dish, 2 Bronzino, 1 Rack of Lamb and shared a variety of appetizers and sides. Highly recommend.
We've been to Gabriella's a couple of times now and we are fans! The food is very good. The service is on par with the food. The first time we went, Lief was out waiter. Nice guy. Great server who is knowledgeable about the menu and make good suggestions.
From the appetizer menu, we had Tomato and Onions, Tomato & Mozzarella Caprese and the Double Cut Bacon. While the Tomato & Onion was not what I envisioned, the tomatoes were fresh, though it was too much onion (it was not on the menu the last time we went). The Caprese was lovely. Fresh, lots of Mozzarella and the dressing was not overpowering. The Bacon is insanely good. Highly recommend you give it a shot. It's one big thick delicious slice.
For mains, we had the Chicken Parm (previous version) which was one of the best my BF ever had. It had a really great crunch, was liberally covered with tomato sauce and cheese, and since it was really for two, he had a perfect meal leftover for the next day. The Pork Chop is moist and flavorful and if you like Sweet Potato, I guess the puree was good. For me it was beyond sweet which I didn't care for. The Hanger Steak was cooked perfectly rare and the combination with the Pancetta, onions and mushrooms elevated it and made it more interesting, especially since it had almost a chimichurri on top. The Salmon with Escarole & White Beans was slightly over medium, but had a super nice crispy skin and the beans and escarole were not heavy. The Truffle Gnocchis, if you are a fan of both are worth the trip. The gnocchis are quite large and a bit thicker & heavier than I like, but the flavor combo with the truffle and spinach made it super tasty. The Truffle Mac & Cheese cannot be missed!
Worth the trip!
The rack of lamb and hangar steak were outstanding. Service was great
We went there tonight for Christmas Eve dinner. After we ordered we asked the waiter for bread a number of times. Finally they brought bread when our entrees came out after we received our appetizers. We also had ordered two wedge salads that never came. The waiter admitted that he never put them in and kept apologizing. A manager came over after we had been given our entrees. We told him our complaints but he made no mention of doing anything. After that the owner was going around to all of the tables asking how everything was. We told him our complaints and he used the excuse that they have only been open 5 months. To us these weren’t newly opened restaurant problems. I understand restaurant make mistakes but we were really surprised that they offered nothing to remedy the situation. Free dessert or maybe offer some kind of compensation. Nothing. Needless to say for the money that we spent...over $300 for our party of 4 we will not be returning.
The steak was great. Great atmosphere, very classy inside. Service was exceptional. The mac & cheese side was to die for.
Had mushroom soup, tuna tartare, bone-in filet, strip steak and truffle fries. Nothing was bad but nothing was great.
Food was excellent service was excellent. Probably one of the best lamb chop dishes I’ve ever had.
All the apps were great and the Bone-in Filet was delicious and seasoned perfectly. Will definitely be back!
We were very impressed with the food and service. The octopus and oysters were fantastic. We also got a filet and NY strip which had the best crust and cooked perfectly. I love the complimentary roasted garlic and bone marrow. The mushrooms as a side dish were amazing! Our waiter recommended adding some onions and it tasted amazing. Our waiter, Corey was great and very attentive. We will definitely come back!
The waitress was great, I ordered steak and it was delicious.. we ordered a few sides and they could benefit from a little salt. The atmosphere was nice.
Excellent food, atmosphere and the owners are hands on. Gabriela is a pleasure and class act
Cory made the night wonderful - he was amazingly attentive and personable!! Dry aged steaks were great and the wine list was fairly diverse with the super Tuscans priced fairly! Great night out!
Absolutely amazing as always! Brought several friends and they want to go again. Best pasta they ever had.
We all ordered steaks. They came out cooked as we ordered them and delicious. However, the sides we ordered were not good. The came out cold and just did not taste good. We were excited about the sides so we ordered 4 of them. We ended up only eating our steaks. They offered us dessert on the house, but the waitress never came back to see what we wanted so we just left disappointed. The whole time we could see the waitress socializing by the computer. We will not be going back there.
The food is outrageously delicious. They have no prices on their website so everything on the menu was a "surprise" and they are not inexpensive. Our waitress, Debbie, was perfect. I will go back but I won't go on a Saturday evening.
Beautiful And warm
Atmosphere. Service was excellent. Quality of food was excellent. Only issue was portions of main course. We ordered salmon and the chicken dish. Both where excellent quality just very small
Portions with no sides included.
The food was great! Such a nice place. Will definitely be back!
Steak was ok but sides were terrible. Creamed spinach and Brussel sprouts tasted bad but eggplant parm app was good. Waiter was a know it all and a bit rude. Restaurant was nearly empty but he was not willing to accommodate any requests. Won’t be back. Too much money for a night that wasn’t memorable at all.
Pork chops, medium. Out of this world!
Clams were rubber and inedible.
Lighting could have been a bit lower
Quality of food was not in line with the prices.
