A neighborhood favorite! We keep coming back for so many reasons. First, the food. So many great menu items to choose from, it's always a difficult choice! Second, the people that work there. Anthony, the owner and chef spent a lot of time talking with us. Craig, the bartender is the best! We really enjoyed sitting at the bar and talked about different drinks, etc. The ambiance is always incredible and we will continue to go back!
We tried Gabriella's during restaurant week. We were seated promptly. The service was amazing. Waters were always filled and our server was incredibly attentive as were all the other staff. This is the best service I have received in a long time!
The food was delicious. My Wellington was served exactly as I ordered it - which was greatly appreciated.
The only downside was the noise level in the restaurant. You could not even hear the person across the table. When I go again, I will request outdoor dining to minimize the noise factor so I can enjoy my dinner and the company with whom I am sharing it.
We are at Gabriella’s for the first time last night. The food was mediocre and the service was awful.
The food and ambiance was fantastic. The service was lacking for sure, took way too long for our first set of drinks, then we think our wine order got forgotten, and the kitchen seemed really slow; the service was just missed a bit.
Tried this place for Restaurant Week and it wasn't bad but it wasn't good ~ just the middle of the road place. Served soggy mixed with crunchy potato chips with a dip to start. Took a long time to get drinks other than water. Shrimp cocktail was something you would get at a buffet type restaurant - small shrimp and not very tasty. Beef wellington was good but we both burned our mouths on the beef. Veggies were something my mom would serve so not impressed. Lastly the creme brulee was okay again, nothing to come back for and ramakin was super hot to the touch brought to the table. Their key lime tart was a disappointment as well. Servers all seemed either new to the profession or just not very attentive but they were nice. All in all we walked away saying 'Glad we tried it, won't be back.'
Went for a business lunch. The service was prompt, the food was very good and certainly superior to nearby restaurants.
The restaurant was chosen because the facility enabled us to have a private conversation and the noise level was very low.
The food choices, presentation and quality were very good.
I have found a new favorite restaurant for business and social occasions.
You must go……amazing everything……
Expect a bit of noise at prime times, but enjoy a sip or two….no different from any other quaint small scale wonderful dining venue!
Gabriella’s provided the perfect dining experience. Service was flawless, and every dish served was perfect. The Burrata with tomato ketchup was delicious. The beet salad with shrimp and the orecchiette pasta dish with shrimp were both wonderful. The peach galette was a delightful way to complete our meal. Dining here is always a pleasure.
Everything about this place is wonderful. The hostess was friendly upon our entrance. Our server, Gabby was very friendly and had helpful recommendations, the energy in the restaurant is perfect, you can enjoy your conversation with a nice level of music playing in the background. The food!! Oh, everything we had has delicious. Highly recommend this hidden gem.
The food and the service were both very good. I hope Gabriele’s is here to stay for a while since so many restaurants in this space have not made it. A nice addition to the Scottsdale Ranch neighborhood.
My first time here!! All 4 of us loved the food and service. The short ribs were delicious!!!! Can’t wait to return.
My husband & I went to Gabriella's for the first time last week. we were very pleasantly surprised! the food is great & also different from other restaurants. Service & ambiance were tops also! and the bartender -- Craig -- what a hoot! it's such fun sitting at the bar & talking to him!!!! we will be back very soon.
This was our second time to Gabriella’s and won’t be our last! Food is consistently well prepared and flavorful and the service (both times served by Craig), exceptional.
Great atmosphere, location, food, drinks, & service. A+
This is a great place with a nice menu variety. Very reasonably priced for Scottsdale, especially at happy hour. We will be back!
Fabulous food, great atmosphere. A family operated fantastic addition to the Scottsdale list of great restaurants
Enjoyed the food and will definitely return. Thanks
This has become our local restaurant. The food is excellent and the staff is outstanding.
The chef always comes around to introduce himself, and checks if everything is alright.
Highly recommend this restaurant.
Incredible Happy Hour choices and absolutely delicious food! Great cocktail innovative cocktail menu! Wonderfully attentive service! Cant wait to go back because I want to try everything!
Soooo good!!! Best short ribs and crispy chicken sandwich!! Can’t wait to go back
This was our first time dining here, definitely won’t be our last , everything was Fantastic! I had a shrimp cocktail, and New York strip steak , my husband had the wedge salad ,and short ribs ! Also shared a great bottle of Prosecco! Gabby was a fantastic server, we met the owner/chef Anthony! Looking forward to returning soon!
Food was great. Staff super.
The food was delicious. Birdie was a wonderful server and took very good care of us.
The wait staff was excellent and the food was good as well.
Salmon was delicious. Lobster pasta was very good but not quite as delicious. Service was amazing! Will go back definitely.
Great happy hour selections!
Visited for the first time last week for lunch. Returned this Friday night to try their “Beef Wellington” special. Both visits - food was excellent as was the service! Follow the recommendations from the staff - on both drinks and food.
The food was terrific and I would go back again but not for a special or romantic evening. Though our waitress was kind and pleasant, she and the bartender chatted the whole time answering each other across the empty restaurant as though there were no guests. Once she answered him from our table at the same time as serving our dessert. He was loud and un oblivious that there were guests and she had a job to do. It was annoying and for an empty restaurant where we hoped to have a romantic evening celebrating our 35th Anniversary, it was quite noisy and lacked the quiet privacy we would have liked.
Good experience and will return.
Four of us had lunch. Service was horrible. Very slow. The salads we ordered with dressing on the side came tossed in vinaigrette. We pointed it out to the waitress who insisted there was not any dressing on the salad.
(BTW, The menu says the salad comes with a honey balsamic dressing).
She was extremely rude when I pointed out the dressing and reluctantly admitted “oh, yes, we toss it with a vinaigrette, but there is no dressing.”
I stated that I did not want the salad and would look at the menu and maybe order something else. She left the table and did not come back for an extended time. I then told her I didn’t want anything else. She said “well, I already told them to re-make your salad.” I told her I did not want the salad. She was visibly annoyed.
My friends finished their lunch. We received the bill, and yes, they charged me for the salad. I would not recommend this restaurant.
We enjoyed the variety of the menu and the excellent service.
We arrived at 5 and shared the meatball appetizer from the happy hour menu. They were delicious. Then we had salmon which was beautifully prepared with a citrus glaze. Chef Anthony is so good at combining flavors that compliment and delight. Gabriella's is definitely one of our favorite restaurants.
An excellent meal! Our server was very friendly, but because they were short on help, the service was a little slower than desired. The cocktail and wine menu had a wide variety to choose from. Their entrees are unique and all looked delicious. They do have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options as well. We had the grilled sage chicken and the salmon, both excellent! The food was very hot and the meat cooked perfectly. The dishes were good portions as well. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely go back!
We had an excellent lunch. Will definitely return.
Fantastic food and service! Everyone we met was very welcoming and friendly. We can’t wait to come back again for a date night soon!
We live in the neighborhood and finally tried this place last night. So glad we did! The food was excellent. We had the burrata and crostini appetizer and short rib sliders. My husband had the short rib entrée and I enjoyed a bowl of their French onion soup and shrimp cocktail. The praline crème brûlée was a very tasty end to our meal. Everything was delicious and we received great service from Gabby. We will definitely return.
Enjoyed our first experience there very much! Birdi is a great bartender and waitress. She took very good care of us. Love the friendly neighborhood feel to the restaurant. Just the right size for a neighborhood hangout. We will be back!
We really enjoyed this spot. Smallish but wonderful menu. Definitely high endish in an understated way. Casual yet well done. We will make a spot for this restaurant in our "regulars" rotation.
First time at Gabriella's for my spouse and I and we really enjoyed the quality and ambience. The value is quiet good. Very likely to return soon.
