Please join us for our wine dinner with Rosenthal Wine Merchant! Our Beverage Director, Rustun Nichols, has collaborated with @rosenthalwinemerchant to bring you a one-of-a-kind wine dinner with a menu expertly crafted by the incredibly talented culinary team of Hilton Columbus Downtown. Cost includes a 5-course menu and luxury wine pairing from the Rosenthal wines. This is an exclusively ticketed event, and space will be limited. We will be offering one seating at 6:00 pm. Please note that there are no substitutions, and wines are included in the cost per person. Tax and a 20% gratuity will be added to the ticketed price and included on the final bill, and payment is due at the end of service. Please do not miss this exclusive event! My wife and I had dinner here to celebrate our 16th anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. The Parradilla for two was a fantastic dish and the sommelier made a great recommendation for a wine pairing that was a tasty combination. For excellent food, superior service at an upscale cloth napkin establishment FYR is by far the best value in greater Columbus. For the past several years when going out for our anniversary I have left hungry and feeling ripped off with a $300-$500 bill that was just not worth it. This was not the case at FYR as the portions were great and I feel the tab was very fair. We will definitely be back and I have already recommended it to friendsand colleagues. The rooftop bar, Stories on High, has a beautiful view of the city skyline at sunset and was amazing after dinner.

we went to FYR for Chef Sabastian LaRocca, only to learn he had departed; however, our meal was wonderful, and many of his creations were still on the menu. The chilled charred tomato was excellent (his signature dish!); the salmon was excellent - perfectly, and the skin "crusted with flavor" and charred was wonderful - the first time I really enjoyed salmon "skin"! The spinach dish was very good, but a bit heavy; cheese sauce delicious but not on my diet! My wife and I split the salmon entre, and we had different views on the hominey and sauce; I loved both, she just liked the sauce. No deal breaker, still an excellent dish. The corn brulee with blueberries was also a mixed review; I loved it, she was uninspired by both corn and blueberries. Again, a dish worth trying Service simply excellent, friendly, helpful. We will certainly be back but we miss chef S!

From the minute we walked in, we knew we were in the right place to celebrate a birthday. Its beautiful interior sets the mood and their kitchen is just as amazing to watch operations. The food was eclectic, fresh and fun. Adam our waiter was amazing and never missed a beat. They even took us upstairs to the Stories bar on the 28th floor for a great sunset photo op. Above and beyond . Oh, food was even better than we anticipated

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at FYR this past Saturday evening. Best dishes were the Skirt Steak (medium rare) and the Porcini Risotto w/Shrimp. Equally tasty, the steak was cooked perfectly with excellent taste. I would go to this restaurant just to order this again. My wife feels the same about the risotto. While part of the Hilton Hotel, the space is a unique two story volume, which helped keep the noise level at a minimum. While there was a large group of people seated near us, the space helped mitigate the noise. Interesting people watching on the sidewalk along High Street, especially since the windows are slightly elevated from the seating area. Our waiter, Kenneth, was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend him, and this restaurant, as a great place in downtown Columbus for a delicious dinner.

I want to start off by saying this was my best experience dining out in Columbus as someone who frequents restaurants. From the moment we walked in through the door and was greeted by our hosts to the server (Ederlyn) up until we left it was really great. Our server did a phenomenal job with our orders and answering questions we had as well as providing a little information about the food. The food itself was outstanding, the presentation, the flavors and temperature and the portion sizes were all complimentary. The dessert was also phenomenal. Serve time overall was great and given the ambiance it wasn’t a long wait. I appreciated the music and the ambiance as it added to the experience, everyone was friendly and it felt very warm. Definitely will be returning and recommending the restaurant to my family & friends!!!
