    I was there for the first time celebrating my birthday. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the vibe. I will definitely return. The food was good as well. 😊❤️

    Definitely not what I was expecting. Went for brunch because they have “live music”. It was a mix of singing and DJing but the speakers/mics were entirely too loud for the small venue. Claims “upscale” but serves cocktails and water in small cheap plastic cups. Service was sub par but they charge 20% auto gratuity. Took 20 mins to get my drink. Took 45 mins for my other guest to get his drink. Couldn’t tell the server never-mind because she was no where to be found. Grits were soupy. The bread they give you is served cold (not even warm or room temp). Fried fish is mostly batter. Shrimp and grits were too salty. Their version of “Jollof rice” tasted like Mexican rice from a box and costs $10 as a side. Greens & fried wings were OK. My drink (old fashioned) was good…once I finally got it. Overall, it is NOT worth it. 2 out of 10. Do not recommend.

    The food was average (catfish and oxtail entrees). Although the oxtails tasted good, they made my partner pretty sick. The 20% gratuity was interesting and fine, however the waitress asked about an additional tip, stating that the gratuity added to the bill had to be split among the staff. We added additional tip in cash since the service was okay but I will not be going back.

    The positives: Decent food Band was very good Plenty of parking The not so good: Drinks are way overpriced and weak. Don't mind the high price if getting a good drink. Portions of food are small considering the price. It can get loud, making communication difficult.

    Crowd was cool .. Oxtails the freaking best !!! Drinks ok .. The 20% gratuity is a bit much but I guess they have to make some money some kind of way.. But overall great experience ..

    Beautiful all around, just wasn’t expecting a $400 bill (which was on me since prices were listed). Live band, comedian, great food and drink, we’ll definitely be back, just pre-game before you go lol.

    We arrived at 8 o’clock, sit in the restaurant area, at first we was just sitting there. No one came to take our order, and we sit at the bar where all the activity was going on, finally someone came and took our order. We ordered ordered water, then ordered a meal, we ordered a drink, one of my friends never receive their water we all ask for water never received anything, but we received a cocktail, the young lady was making the drink, after she was done, making the drink for the four of us, after that the top dropped on the floor she picks up the top, put it back on to the bottle , how unsanitized, for a thriving company like this, the milk came one of my friends, food taste like it came out of a microwave, the fries were cold, I ordered oxtails and rice, my ox tails tasted bitter , after we were sitting there, eating dinner and looking there were other customers in the restaurant as well. No one served them for like 45 minutes, all the employees were upfront at the bar, talking laughing not paying attention to the customers asking, do we need anything, they were up there, watching reality shows on their iPads, half of them was walking around chatting and talking to themselves after an hour we sat there as we were done, eating half of the food, and some of my other friends didn’t even eat their food, we were so upset we just wanted to bill and leave, this is my first time being at this place that I heard highly about, maybe it was just bad service for that one time, but that is a disgrace specially when you have to spend money on something that you’re not pleased with

    My girls and I booked a table to celebrate here. The interior is exceptionally decorated and clean. The music and vibes were cool, however, the service was the worst! I would definitely suggest that if an automatic 20% gratuity is added to every transaction that the service should correlate with it. The waitresses were not attentive..majority of the time they were either taking shots or smoking the hookah themselves. Additionally, the food portions are extremely small and definitely not comparable to the cost and the drinks were not good quality. Overall, I was hoping to find a great Afro-centric spot but unfortunately this was not.

    Had a really nice time with my family. Our server was perfect. I put a reservation in about 3 weeks prior to and we were able to sit right down with no problems. The brunch item selections were not the greatest, but the vibe made up for it. Our server gave us biscuits on the house, which were delicious. It wasn't a large crowd, which works for me because I am in my mid 30s. We went on a Sunday, so the music was catered to ppl that are 28-40 which was perfect for us. We will be back for sure

    Please save yourself time, money, and expectations. This place has so much potential but fell way short. The food was bland and merely seasoned with salt and pepper. The portions were small. The goat was shrewdnesses ant burnt. Stay far away from the suya anything. The food lacks authenticity. The place also smelled like paint and fumes. The bathroom looked as if it had not been cleaned in months. I cannot fine one good thing about the place other than the exit.

    After driving 45 minutes we arrived to be informed the Lounge side was closed due to a fire weeks prior. We were invited to eat on the restaurant side and the experience was none other than top notch and very satisfying. My first time eating this type of cuisine was a great experience. The owner was ver accommodating and customer oriented! Gift was an awesome waiter also! We will definitely be back!

    This certainly is for people who know about Nigerian food. We wanted to try something different but it was just too different for us I guess. The food was ok. service was barely acceptable but the noise inside was unbearable. Plus the day we visited, there was a very strong odor in the restaurant which was not food related, something plasticky is burned. We probably wouldn’t go back.

    We reserved a table and it was early. There was no reason the food should have been the way it was. The food honestly was horrible, the grits came out extremely cold. I turned the plate of grits upside down and neither the fish or grits fell out of the bowl. I ordered catfish and it clearly was tilapia. The biscuits they serve while you wait for your food was cold and hard.

    Great live music but it was extremely too loud. We couldn’t even hear each other talk. Service was a but slow and waitress didn’t seem to be well trained. She was nice, but anytime we asked a question, she had to go and get an answer and they automatically charge 20% gratuity even though the service was not great. They didnt want to give us plates for our appetizers , forgot part of my cousins order, and the waitress was smoking hookah in the clock. Chicken and grits were not seasoned well but mimosas were great. Don’t think I’ll be back though.

    Went for Bunch Sunday… was immediately seated. It took a waitress about 30 mins to get drink orders. Took an hour and a half to get our food. My husband food was cold. He had the shrimp and grits. Before hand I inquired about how the chicken was made for the chicken and waffles and if any add On’s could be added for the shrimp and grits. The lead in charge said let her check on it because she don’t know. She never came back to our table to advise. The live band was cool.. everything else was terrible. I wouldn’t go back again.

    We went on a Friday evening and realized that the reservation was unnecessary since we were able to seat ourselves, which was cool. The wall art is nice and the establishment seemed clean. The waitress was somewhat pleasant, but has a lot of room for improvement when it comes to professionalism in hospitality. For example; after taking our dinner order, she was standing, eating behind the counter instead of offering us water, etc. We did end up having to signal for her to order our drinks and ask for water. It was a little odd to us to get plastic cutlery even though the food was on real plates. Since we’ve had delicious Nigerian food before, this was disappointing. The jollof rice was just okay. The stew beef came smothered, but after cutting into it and chewing, I realized it was dry. The salmon was flavorful, but also dry. In summary, the service and food were disappointing. We really hope they improve.

    Took 2 hours for the food. Waitress never checked on us, smiled, gave her name, nothing. Some of our order ended up being out of stock so instead of telling us so we can pick something else, she just brought whatever to the table. No apologies offered.
