There was a strong stench in the restaurant. The lamb was tough and not very flavorful. The steak wasn’t flavorful either. Was disappointed with how the restaurant looked in person vs the photos.
Food was delicious.
Food was delicious I recommend this restaurant. services need improve but anyway I was happy with the food I recommend 💯%
The food was actually pretty good. The service, cleanliness and decor, not so much. Pricing was a bit high for the type of service and restaurant set up (the menus were filthy).
There was one waitress for the lunch hour and we had a party of 8. She also took care of phone orders while trying to wait on costumers.
They brought out the food maybe 2 at a time with a wait in between so those who were served first had a cold meal by the time the rest of our orders came.
I would maybe consider this place for TO GO ORDERS only! Very disappointed with the service and decor for the price of the meal.
Looks a lot better in the photos.
For a while Fusion lowered the quality of their food. We tried it again after a few months and it was so much better! The anticuchos were properly cooked, nice pink inside and tender. The ceviche was delicious, as well as a pasta dish my husband ordered. Good cocktails and desserts too.
Fresh, flavorful food. Wonderful combination of spices.
It was the worst experience, the food was not good and they forgot one person order,
Horrible service , we did not have a chance to try the food ,the server never went to our table .
Came in for a date, as I hadn’t seen my girlfriend in almost a month. Picked the wrong place. Food was great. Service and the restaurant were awful at best. Rushed in. Pushed to order, and pushed out the door. Never again!
We had a party of 11. We reserved ahead of time. When we arrived there was 1 waitress on staff. She did her best, but that is not acceptable. There were moths flying around the food.
Came for lunch so had the lunch special. Ordered ceviche, seafood stew with white rice and steamed vegetables. All of the food was very good, except the ceviche was a bit too heavy with the sauce. Great value for the amount and taste of the food you get.
Only drawback was a bit hard to find parking but would go back again.
inside the restaurant was better then it looked from the outside.
Food was great, and good value, but they need air conditioning.
I love the food but expected better service.
We had a huge party to celebrate a graduation. I figured because it was such a large party, it would take time. Unfortunately, it wasn’t such a smooth dinner. The space was loud, though the staff was accommodating in turning down the music. There was no AC, so it got hot very quickly. It took a while to get drinks and then get checked up on for more drinks. I think it would have been helpful to have multiple staff to aid with the service. I understand this was a small, likely family business and large parties can be rather overwhelming. On the other hand, the food was wonderful. I was bummed that they “ran out of bread” because the spreads were lovely. The lomo saltado was excellent and the pisco sours were on point. Overall, the experience was okay but the food was great. I would definitely come back to try again with a smaller party.
great food! the ceviche and steak/pasta dishes were great
Excellent food & service
Extremely noisy. Venue accepted two 12+ person parties on the same night. This negatively affected the noise level and service for the other guests.
We live the restaurant. But since they were having salsa night, it was noisier than usual and the menu was pared down. We had a great time regardless.
Great place! The portions are generous and presentation is great, and great price! O recommend pretty much everything. Favorite is Seco de Cordero , ceviche, pescado a lo macho, jalea and anticucho but honestly everything is great!!maracuya sour is my new fave drink!
They were short staffed. Took about 40 minutes to get our food. Server was nice, but very forgetful and rushed. Not a great place.
Stained menus, dirty tables, slow service
I've eaten at FUSION over 10 times in past 5+ years
And also traveled thru Peru for 3+ months in the 1990s and continue to eat at Costanera in HMB area and other sea food sites along the SF waterfront
In short, I like and appreciate Peruvian cuisine and used to enjoy my meals here
Unfortunately, the cook staff and menu must have changed (!)
I had the misfortune to bring 3 business partners in for dinner on a Tuesday night
Yes .. the steaks are nwo gringo sized (not a good thing) .. Causa (pureed potato) dishes are no longer on the menu ... the Choclo (large corn kernels) are now tiny ... the chicharrón de pollo were small dry pieces, not the larger moist chunks of white meat that I typically order and enjoyed here in the past
And the Ceviche was the *worst* I have ever had anywhere .. including hotels in USA and elsewhere ... the worst marinade with milky consistency that totally overwhelmed the white fish chunks in vinaigrette-like strong sauce .. inedible .. I had to use straight shots of pisco to wash out my mouth (!)
And to top it off, while we started off our quiet business meal in the main room at 5:15pm, at around 5:30pm cacophony broke out with 30-40 painters and their easels set up in the adjoining dining room ... we were unable to hear ourselves while 30-40 ladies shouted to each other and ate appetizers while in painting class .. *not* a bad idea to fill up the restaurant on a slow night ... BUT WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN FOREWARNED .. it was like a grade school field trip but with 30-40 middle-aged ladies having a great time
Food was very good. Tasty fresh and just simply good
little cute place with ok food but more expensive than it looks. I don't think I will return.
This was our first time dining here. We chose it based on the ratings and the online menu. The food was excellent and the service friendly. However, the ambiance leaves much to be desired. The flatware and glasses were not very clean, the menus sticky and greasy, and there were quite a few fruit flies. If they could clean up the presentation of the Restaurant, we would consider going back. It might be good for takeout. Too bad, as this is a family owned and run restaurant and we like to patronize local businesses.
We loved the food! The waitress was very friendly and answer all our questions about what are all in each dish. Would definitely come back!
The food was really good and my family said it was even better than some of the really expensive restaurants they had gone to recently. Th only weird thing was there was an art class going on near where we were eating. However the class was not too loud and we enjoyed critiquing the paintings.
This little neighborhood spot was a real treat. While it's a casual and informal place, the lunch special was amazing... For only $13, we each got a bowl of soup (delicious and herbaceous, with pasta), a serving of ceviche -- large enough to be a meal for some, and a main dish (you can choose from quite a few). My friend and I both got the Peruvian Fish, which was a tender white filet of fish, firm fleshed, in an amazing sauce - not even sure what is in it, but YUM!
