They have a poor selection of brown booze. I had two terrible vodka and club sodas - how do you mess that up? the appetizer selections are good. the dinner menu is very limited. I have since learned that the local business community nearby does not recommend -- second worst selection from Open Table ever. Don't go there.
Food was a slow, but must say well worth the wait. Eclectic fusion creativity that was pleasing. They rotate good craft drafts- albeit not a big selection. The outdoors area at the Orlando facility should be the preferred spot to sit.
Never going back. The food was very mediocre it it's too expensive . The building needs work it's run down and they do not validate your parking. The wait staff was nice but the forks looked like they were purchased at the Dollar Tree eventhough they had the nerve to charge $46 for a steak.
Was a great experience! We had a lot of fun! Great show!
Rude server and hostess sat three other parties before us that had no reservations because she "felt bad" they had been waiting. Brought wrong food, food was cold and slightly over proved for what it was.
Our meals were cold coming out of the kitchen and again after we sent them back. No attention to detail.
The service was slow, The waiter forgot to bring one appetizer and the salads before the entree. There were six of us at a convention. We all had different entrees and none were outstanding. Never go there again.
My wife and I were in Orlando for New Year's Eve 2017. We went to the funky monkey and had a blast. The staff was more than a accommodating friendly and willing to help. The entertainment was over-the-top fun. If you go, the dinner show is what you go for. The manager was awesome, the waiters were awesome, and the entertainment was outrageously fun. The food on the other hand was lacking in the quality that the restaurants ambience suggest. With that said, would I go there again, 'without hesitation'. I believe that the food condition was due to the buffet style for that particular event. A little work would go along way here. This has all the potential of a 4 to 5 star restaurant.
Great time on New Year's Eve, and great entertainment
Worst dining experience ever. Waited 2 hours for our food and it was so salty it was not eaten. There was no manger at work and no one at the restaurant cared that they had upset customers. Will never return and will not recommend.
The food was great! The server could have been
more friendly and we asked for suggestions, he was no help at all!
Sadly, I didn't get points for dining this night, I just noticed that. Not cool! Additionally, it was VERY loud in there, and I think only two other tables were occupied. I had heard great things about the place, but I was disappointed overall. The food was good, but we tried to order a few things and they were out. So that adds to the overall disappointment. I don't think I'll be going back.
Food was excellent but our waiter Abel was exceptional. He was knowledgeable and friendly which made the whole dining experience that much better
Waited over an hour for food to be served. Bison hamburger was good but slightly raw in the middle which is not how I ordered it, and my fries were limp not crunchy. My sangria was delish. Also the shrimp dumplings were amazing.
We went for the Magical Dinning experience. The sea bass was wonderful and the appetizer, the Funkey monkey roll was excellent. We were too full to eat dessert, so the nice waitress boxed up our desserts for us to take home.
Celebrating best friends birthday! Best night to go! Friday. Ugh this! Diva's Night! Freckles was amazing! We loved the show and the food was amazing as was our server!
Went for dinner and a show. Had a great time! Food and service were spot on! Definitely will be going back with more friends next time. A lot of fun with a group of people to celebrate anything, have a great dinner and watch a fun lively show. Beautiful location too. I like that valet is right at the front door if you want to splurge and not walk for the car. Next time I will be taking Uber which drops off and picks up right at the front door.
First came in 2010- and i remember excellent food and a great show with lots of dancers. Flash forward 6 years and the food was not so good (had to send some stinky mussels back) to just ok and the they were hurting for dancers.
Went for date night and had a blast! Had the Magical Dining Menu and have to say, it's the best Magical Dining I have had so far! We had a surprise with the menu... since we were having that menu we got a deal of 50% off of our wine. I started with the Fried Goat Cheese and my boyfriend started with the Stuffed Avocado. Both were decadent! For our entrees I had the Sea Bass which had a carrot ginger glaze that I want a bottle of! My boyfriend had the Filet he said was cooked perfectly. Finally, for dessert I had the Red Velvet Cake and he had the Orange Sunshine Cake. The service was excellent and very attentive. The night, though, was made complete by the Funky Monkey Divas show. I have to say they have the best drag show in town and maybe even the state! We have been to a lot of shows and this one definitely rivals shows in Las Vegas that you have to pay $65 bucks to get into! All in all, we spent around $150 for two full dinners and an excellent bottle of wine (splurged a bit on the wine because it is not often you can go out and get a bottle values over $100 for 50% off!) a great show and just an overall fabulous time. Thank you Funky Monkey Staff and Divas!
Not a pleasant one. The food and cocktails were nothing special for the price. The server was friendly but didn't do a good job as a server. Food took too long to arrive (+35 minutes).
The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. We went for magical dining and everything was nicely portioned and very tasty! The desserts were also great! Only wish I could have gotten 2!
My wife had the stuffed avocado appetizer and the sea bass entrée and I had the sushi appetizer and the filet tenderloin entrée. The entire meal was absolutely fabulous, and the portions were just right. My wife told the waiter that her sea bass was the "best she had ever tasted." The wait staff was very attentive, and the service was excellent. We went for the Orlando Magical Dining, so even thought the cost was $33 each, the food was well prepared. We would definitely go back!!
Went here on a date night. The apps were decent, except for the three chunks of gristle in the Crispy Beef Tips. Our entrees took a long time, only to be told that the chef forgot to turn the oven on? Seems weird at 8:00pm on a Saturday night. Eventually, our crab cakes and cowboy steak came.... Crab cakes were burnt. The cowboy steak was seared, but the inside was not cooked at all. It seems the chef still forgot to turn the oven on? Too many choices in Orlando....won't be back.
The food was good. Service was good. I went to the Divas showcase. I enjoyed the show but I was not aware of bringing tip money. They do not come to your table unless you have money. It was a little disappointing. Once I went to get money, I enjoyed the show. This should be on their website because it was quite entertaining.
Evening out with my boo
Fun atmosphere, good food. Location was great-- in Pointe Orlando, with LOTS to do!
